Some 4.3 km from the city centre, in the south-eastern part of the city of Nuremberg, there is Nazi Party Rally Grounds, which consists of several buildings and sites, completely, partly or never built but also severe damaged during bombings or after the end of...More

From historical standpoint it’s OK but the place is a dump. After you climb to platform Hitler spoke from that’s it.

The tour guide during our visit to the remains of the Nazi party rally grounds was very helpful. The site is amazingly huge and listening to how the celebrations took place was almost unimaginable. The site is being preserved but not restored, and used in...More

This tells everything about Nazi history. And depicts it well with posters, audio guide, AVs and what not. You can spend 1+ hours to know more about this topic. The only negative is that the museum is too small, and no artifacts for display. That...More

There's a museum here (€6 adults, discounts available) but you can also walk around different parts of the site for free, and read info boards. It's a big area and would be well suited to a cycle or scoot around! Amazing what the plans were....More

It was amazing to see how large the Congress hall would have been had it been completed. Hitler certainly had big dreams....

We have read about the Party Rally Grounds for many years, but nothing takes the place of an actual visit to truly relate to the historical significance. History becomes real when you stand in its shadow. By all means visit here.

Fantastic location... Having a Seiger Show at this location was amazing we got to explore for a few days. History is sad but it’s history and there’s so much here to see. Walk right around to get an idea of how big this area is...More

The grounds are immense! Easy to see how you could have 100000 + people in the stadium. He was very good at mind-bending.

Extremely impressive building in the middle of Nürnberg. I think the germans are a bit embaressed by the building and the paradeground, but its a part of History. On the paradeground you can literally stand in the footsteeps of Hitler and imagine the scenery from...More

You can walk around the grounds at no cost but there is a modest admission fee for the museum which is very informative and gives you a much broader appreciation of the layout of the grounds and its significance to the... More

Depends how you define 'distressing' and how mature the child. I would advise parental guidance. As long as you can explain and describe the history and the child is able to take this on board then museums such as this are... More
