This museum was fine - nothing special in my opinion. There are some lovely sculptures and paintings in the permanent collection but a large portion of the museum was closed off to set up a temporary exhibit. On the plus side, it was free, which...More

I come here each time I am in Paris because the permanent collection is so memorable and the space is so lovely. And it's free! There is a charge for the special expos which can be very very good.

The Petit Palais is a very fine building, oppsite its "big brother", the exhibition centre of the Grand Palais. The Petit Palais has a very mixed collection with a "taste" of many different art styles, artefacts and eras. None of its separate collections is especially...More
