Wife and I took day trip to Windsor, Bath, and Stonehenge. Windsor is very well maintained, which makes sense because it is royalty :) Grounds and chapel are pretty. Outdoor views are very cool. Inside was awesome, however no photos are allowed (security reasons). Worth...More

We completed a cruise from Southampton and could not get a flight out the same day. We booked an excursion/tour that included Windsor Castle. The self guided tour narration devices were great to provide information on the rooms in the castle, the outside common areas,...More

We loved our tour of Windsor and of St. George’s Abbey. We had planned to go to evensong, but the choir was on vacation. Still, it was magnificent. There is a lovely shopping area Before entering the Windsor property called Windsor Royal Shopping center that...More

St Georges Chapel was the highlight of this visit. Wonderful stained glass windoes and vaulted roof. Really interesting all round. We also visited the State rooms in the castle. A mistake to do both in one visit if you need to sit down after walking...More

Beautiful setting and it’s no wonder the Queen loves to stay there, she must feel very close to her subjects. Easy to get to by the green line bus which stops just outside the castle. Lots to take in and with the extension of ticket...More

Might just be us being miserable, but the visit left us a little flat and not really on a par with other castles or places we have visited. There didnt actually seem that much to see and 2 hrs later , having gone round twice,...More

we bought our tickets online which made it quicker as we didn't have to queue. Their queuing system is very efficient so if you are not sure which day you wish to visit then I don't think you will find waiting to buy too... More
