Walking on the walls is something must do in Singnaghi, especially when the weather is sunny. There is also a ladder access to a restaurant on the wall.

and good views of the valley with Chechnya and Dagestan over the mountain range. However the town itself was a disappointment and nothing of great note except a wall with names of those who died in conflicts with Russia. A fun fountain with pigs and...More

As other reviewers have mentioned, we also didn’t know that such a wall existed in Georgia, an amazing feat to have built a wall in quite rugged terrain.

Picturesque walls remarkably intact. The city is very touristy, but on the way to the Azerbaijan border - a good stopping point. You can't miss the walls. Vendors of carpets and other merchandise abounded. Fabulous views of the valley.
