A plague at Fort Charlotte listed 4 forts. Having visited 2 prior, this seemed like the smallest of the three. Although I did not enter the fort, I found enough excitement watching the people exercising, walking along the beach and just enjoying the general area.
Nice tourist location with small public beach nearby as well as the fisherman wharf ( can buy some fresh fish right off da boat) The fort is 5-10 mins max...great opportunity for photos of paradise island and surrounding areas
Well worth the trip to ensure you have ticked off a visit all the available forts on New Providence. We walked the 3 miles from central Nassau then got a bus back the long way round (as the road there is one-way) but were able to see those parts of Nassau not on the tourist track
