We were doubting with the timing since the ticket price is overpriced for visiting twice, but definitely loved the views at night. It’s a very impressive architectural building and almost 360 degrees view of Osaka city. It has a few art structures that are fun...More
You really need fine weather to appreciate the surrounding city views of Osaka. On a clear day the view is stunning. Very windy on the 360 degree promenade. Many fine restaurants to be found in the basement area, and a hidden garden with small water...More
Visited here because of the 2 day Osaka Amazing Pass we bought. Short walk from a nearby train station. Once you reach the summit you are rewarded with great 360 degree views across Osaka. Quite crowded, but still a big enough space that you can...More
My mother and I visited Kuchu Teien on a Thursday evening around 9:00pm and we enjoyed the beautiful night views of the city. At this time, it was not very crowded and we were able to relax and take lots of pictures. We liked that...More

It is not free, but ticketing happens after you go up the building. There are four floors (including the roof garden) that are accessible after you go up the building (before paying), but the top two cannot be seen without the admission ticket. If you really want to have a look but you don't want to pay, I suggest that you can go up and look through windows (they are not the best because it shows the middle of the building and very little of Osaka's view) because there are restaurants and gift shop that is accessible to everyone. I do suggest you go up after paying though. It is beautiful to see it from the very top.
