The shrine is closed to public but you can visit the museum nearby to have a look at the exhibits, including the Sword. Shrine grounds is much smaller that Meiji Jinggu shrine.

Surprised to see lots of local ppls wearing tradition kimono carrying new born baby and/or having big family pictures, wedding couples.... in the shrine. Lots of visitors pay tribute of course... very peaceful and nice scenery and will make u feel peaceful even amid crowd...More

They have something special inside the shrine as can’t see , only outside as we can touch. Many tree like a jungle around the shrine make these place peace and quiet, All Japanese are bow before and after passe the Torii.

The shrine is magnificent. Lots of devotees came here for praying especially near new year. The compound is huge and neat. The whole place gives you sense of peace and tranquility.
