- Navigate6316670 contributionsTubing Rio Celeste and a stay at Hotel SuenoWe stayed at the Hotel Sueno and tubed Rio Celeste. What a great time. Jordan took the 3 kids, 14, 12, and 9. Jonathan was stuck with me, the wife, and another couple. Poor guy had to wrestle the 4 adults-in-tubes more than he should have, but he did it expertly, keeping everybody moving and safe. Meanwhile, he was able to point out animals and minerals along the river and even managed to save a sloth that fell out of a tree. 😂. We had a blast. The kids had a blast. Jonathan and Jordan were awesome. The hotel was perfect, too. The only thing better than breakfast was dinner. The food was seriously, seriously excellent and very generously portioned. We couldn’t have been happier. Throw some mosquito spray in your bag for the end of the tubing trip. And you’re gonna need it for the night tour, which was excellent. The ride took us through the jungle where we saw monkeys, birds and lizards. Then we traversed the river, and were greeted by Sadie, who was dropping off lucious costa rican fruits for us to enjoy. They even had built an eating area with a sink, benches, and hitching posts. It was a great experience.Written March 14, 2020

I greatly enjoyed the experience.The water was a little low so we did get stuck a number of times but the guide worked so hard and fast to free us. The low water made it a less adrenaline filled experience than I had hoped for but my daughter loved the liesurely pace and it was one of the highlighs of her trip . She would give it a 5. Guide was outsanding!

We (family, 2 adults, 3 teenagers) had a great experience with tubing in the rainforest of Rio Celeste - Costa Rica. In the morning we had contact with Jeffrey to hear whether de weather was oke for that day. The guides were very friendly, the instructions very clear and the guiding during the trip was great. Arriving at the endpoint refreshing fruit had been prepared for us. If you want to do a tubing experience in Costa Rica, we recommend this organisation.

This was an absolute blast! Our guides Alonso and Victor were fantastic! They helped us spot wildlife and fauna, and were friendly and funny. Everyone had a great time, from my 6 year old son to my 65 year old mother. This is an absolute must if you are close to Rio Celeste. The hotel meeting point grounds are beautiful with lots of animals you can visit up close and personal, as well as a restaurant with great prices and a wide variety menu.

We had a great time! Tubing was fun, some rapids were fast, but nothing crazy. Guide helped us navigate through the calm water and stay together on fast rapids. Absolutely loved it! Color of the river is so beautiful, you just keep enjoying the scenery.
The restauramt at the meeting and the drop off location was also great. Both food and drinks were delicious.

Milton and the other guides were sooo great. Making our experience with a group from 65-3 years old very enjoyable and extra safe for the little ones. Coming back through the farm to the original meet up spot was also a highlight for the kids of the group!
Thank you again to the whole team, amazing time!
Highly recommend. One tip, when booking even for children under 4. Choose the kid option, they accommodated our 3 year old expertly.

An exciting morning tubing expedition (about 2hrs), during which you float on giant inner tubes down the beautiful Rio Celeste. This is a fantastic experience with a combination of calm water where you can relax, and rapids where you have to hold on tight! i am nervous in water but the 2 guides (Anthony + ?) were excellent at helping people when required.
They even shot some great video for everyone...
We had a traditional lunch back at the base before being transferred back in the mini bus.

More of an adventure than I expected- very fun small rapids, which our guide expertly navigated us through. I loved that our guide held on to our tubes and directed the flow. A few in our group asked to be independent and that was allowed, too. Breath taking scenery.

Great experience!! We were alone with our guide unlike the other who was in a large group, a real VIP tour! We were able to observe howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys and a Tayra. The water was a superb blue, exactly as in the photos, it was magnificent. Halfway, we stopped to take a break there was a Tarzan rope with several levels of difficulty! It was very fun! Our guide then offered us clay to put on our skin. There were several small rapids going down the river which I really liked. At the very end, we ate fresh fruit. I recommend without hesitation! 10/10 PURA VIDA 😁

My guide slash new friend's name was Milton. What a brilliant young man. Milton and his crew navigated the Celeste River with ease. I had no idea what I was in for. It was simply amazing.
We saw Monkeys, Toucan Birds, and other wildlife on the banks of the river. I've been on a lazy river tube ride in Kauai. Hands down, this blew Kauai away. More personal service, more thrill, more wildlife, most of all attention to detail insuring our safety. There was nothing lazy about this adventure.

What an amazing tour!!! The Celeste river is beautiful as seen in the photos. We had a great time, so much fun, so much laughing. Milton was our guide and he made our experience unforgettable, especially for our teenage children. He was very friendly, funny, engaging and informative. Definitely made this experience one of a kind.

It says helmets are not included. Do we need to pay extra for helmets? What is the total cost for two?
