We enjoyed lunch and a history of the eastern coast of Roatan. The food is authentic seafood dish and the host was informative. We thank the staff for the attention they gave our group.

Wonderfull tour on short notice! We wanted to see and get an idea of the history of the East side of the Isand and this is exactly what we got. Alex arrange us a custom tour within the community at a fair price. So we had a taste of their hospitality. We met and visited Oak Ridge, a fisher village, boat tour of the mangrove, visited sweetcret Retreat with Leo ... and it all ended with an autentic meal at Alex's Garabalis Restaurant. This community worked together to promote eco-tourism in their part of the Island. We wish them all the best

After a tour of the island on ATV’s with Rafael, we stopped here for a late lunch, one of a kind meal, fresh and delicious seafood! Alex Brown gave us a taste of the island with this amazing friends local seafood: conch, shrimp, and fish. So fresh with their handmade hot sauce. Then we had the seafood soup with coconut milk, fish, crawfish, and shrimp. Alex offered the local MonkeyLala cocktail, which was strong but tasted like a milkshake and easy to drink. Rafael was so attentive to our needs and So was Alex. We wish we had more time on the East Side of Roatan. Delicious and quality food! Can’t wait until we come back!! Thank you Alex and Rafael!

Had a great tour today we went to Daniel Johnson’s monkey and sloth hang out then we went for a snorkel. Afterwards our tour guide Miss Faith took us for a beautiful east side island tour. We asked to see some off the beaten path things and eat where the locals do. So she brought us here to Punta Gorda. This place has a wonderful history of how these Caribbean people were brought here from Africa. It’s a very cool little section of the island with awesome food! If you’re here in Rotan visiting please take a chance and go to the Eastside and see some of the islands true history and support the local economy. Alex Brown is the owner is in the picture and Miss Faith has the yellow shirt on in the Pyxis their hospitality was absolutely amazing five stars all the way.

Mr Brown really knows how to make you feel welcomed. High energy great food and re open for us after showing up when all other business was closed. Class act!

This afternoon we spent in Punta Gorda! Mr. Brown showed us a great time giving us a little history all while sharing some cultural beverages. The food we had was absolutely amazing!! It’s definitely a must for a real Cultural experience!

Great trip. Alex is such a good host. The water is exactly as expected. Warm, blue and full of fish. I would return
