Easy to find the operator waiting. Shared one well-used van with a family. First visited AJ’s where we held sloths, Guinea pigs, parrots, monkeys, and left a tip. Then snorkeled close by in French Cay, with a bigger group. Very shallow water, can stand in places, but not a lot of fish. Tipped those guys. (Note no fresh water rinse.) Back to port and tipped the driver. Everything as expected and went smoothly.

This excursion was the best out of our 7 day cruise! Katie was an awesome tour guide! I highly recommend this for all ages!!

This was a great excursion! We were gone from the boat for the perfect amount of time and enjoyed our entire day. The place with the animals were unforgettable, staff was funny and kind, and we got plenty of time to take picture and wasn’t crowded or rushed. The snorkeling was super fun and easy! They take you on a very short boat ride to a sand bar and you snorkel from one end to the other of the reef and they pick you up(so you don’t have to see the same thing twice). Only suggestion would be more detailed directions. It was very overwhelming in the port and even more overwhelming coming out of it. It was about a 15 minute walk from the boat and if I would have known that and also known what all I would/should pass on my way, I would have felt more comfortable. 100% would do this again though.

We had a fantastic tour guide (Monique). Our family consisted of young children and teens and all had a wonderful time. We felt safe and the duration was perfect. The animal encounter was family owned but well maintained and clean. It was great to be able to hold and interact with all of the animals. The snorkeling tour was also fantastic. The crew was very helpful and informative and the location was picturesque and beautiful. The water was clear and we saw many fish and underwater life. I highly recommend this tour.

What a great trip! Kate gave us great individual attention which was wonderful considering we had 2 special needs adults with us. The snorkeling was fun and we had a boat and crew solely committed to our unusual but enthusiastic group. Thank you Roatan Getaway Tours!

This was our third time doing this excursions. The interaction with the sloths, birds and monkeys are always so fun and adorable. The snorkeling is also amazing as the water is so clear and beautiful. Roatan Getaway Tours is top notch and always takes care of us. Highly recommend this tour and this company.

My wife and I had an incredibly fun day in Roatan with Roatan Getaway Tours. Our tour group was easy to find upon exiting the Roatan cruise port. Our driver, Rex, took great care of us getting us through AJ’s monkeys and sloths (opportunity to hold Guinea pigs, 3-toed sloths, scarlet macaws, and capuchin monkeys) then onto snorkeling. This was my wife’s first time snorkeling and it was a perfect opportunity for beginners. We took a quick boat out from Getaway’s private dock in Little French Key to a great reef / sand bar area. The water hardly ever reached depths more than 5 feet so it was always easy to stand up and make adjustments if needed. At the end of the tour, Rex dropped us off to grab some good lunch at the Roatan Yacht Club, then picked us back up to take us to our ship! This was an awesome way to get to experience two different fun activities in Roatan all in just a few hours!

First our driver was Monique and she was great. Very informative of the island on the way to the sloth and monkeys. The sloth and monkey park were very informative and super nice, hats off to them. The snorkeling is a hit and miss with the water conditions and for us it was a little murky but still had fun. If we go back we will request Monique.

Juan was the absolute best tour guide! He took us to out to eat after the snorkeling and sloths, along with taking us to the Roatan sign for pictures. I lost my wedding ring while snorkeling.. they FOUND IT and shipped it back home for me with a free t-shirt! I thought I would never have my ring again they went above and beyond. Roatan getaway tours made our vacation so much better! I’m forever thankful for Juan and all others I met. Absolutely the best experience.

Our favorite excursion, all because of Juan! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The animals at Ajs were so cute, and the snorkeling was out of this world beautiful. Juan took us to take some photos and try delicious local food. He really made our whole day, and we always felt safe. 10/10 recommend!

We had a great adventure in Roatan. From the moment we got off the ship Monique gave us an experience we will never forget. We loved talking to Monique and asking her questions about her beautiful island. We first got to hold the sloths and play with the mischievous monkeys. We then went to their pier to go snorkeling. The snorkeling site was right by their pier and was in 3-6 feet of water. Once we dropped in the water there was a guide up front pointing out different fish and other sea creatures in addition to a guide in the rear to assist if anyone needed anything. Prior to heading back to the ship Monique took us to a local restaurant right on the water with amazing views and delicious food. We also stopped a little shopping area for souvenirs. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you to Monique and Roatan Getaway tours for making our day so special.

Really great experience! I went to Roatan for the first time with my family on Royal Caribbean Cruise and “Roatan Shore Excursion” team were really kind and helped us have an amazing day! We would definitely comeback A+++
