Our experience was amazing! Both of our guides were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel safe throughout the whole trip. The captain himself had great knowledge of the water conditions, tide, wind conditions, and the effect of the lunar phases on these things. Our actual guide who got into the water with us was very friendly and was extremely knowledgeable, Providing us with identification for every thing that we came across. Overall we were able to see many varieties of sea creatures including octopus, sea biscuits, snapper, eels, squid, stingrays, conch, hermit crabs, and other varieties of fish. He even went out of his way to stop at Papa John’s for us on the way back from the night snorkel because we were all extremely depleted and starving!

To say we had the best day is truly an understatement. We had Juan-Carlos as our tour guide. It was such a great experience. He was patient with our kids. Shared a little about himself and gave us so much information about the beautiful island. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this. Thank you so much for making this experience worth going home and bragging about.

This was the best tour I took and one of the best I’ve been on so far. Our guide was so knowledgeable and it was just an amazing overall day.

We wanted to do something different and away from the ships big crowds. This was awesome! We loved interacting with the sloths. The people running the tour were fun to hang out with.

We were a group of 21 people at port with Royal Caribbean. Age range from 5yo to 74yo. We had an amazing time with our tour guides Tommy and Anna, we had two private vans that took us to the Monkeys and Sloths. That was an AMAZING experience, everyone loved spending time with the animals. After the sanctuary, we went snorkeling and the area was beautiful and just enough for us to enjoy. The area was shallow enough for the adults to stand and the 5yo was able to enjoy snorkeling for the first time. Our tour guides made sure we made it back to the ship. Highly recommended. Family friendly. Friendly tour guides.

I book this tour through trip advisor based on the reviews and it exceeded our expectations! I went with my family of 5 including my 3 kids ages 12,13, and 15. We happen to have a private kayaking tour and snorkeling tour because no one else booked at our time. Garett was tour guide and he was great. The snorkeling was the highlight of our entire vacation. We would absolutely go back if we ever visit Honduras again.

I booked the kayak/snorkel for our family of 6. When you get to the port, make sure to ask around for directions to the concrete hill/security guard to find your driver. Joe was waiting for us. He was very pleasant. He dropped us off at a house where you’ll start your kayak or snorkel. Don’t worry, you’re in good hands. A bunch of cats were lying around which don’t mind being petted. We started the kayak first. None of us are experienced kayakers and the waters were choppy. Be ready to get wet and work your arms out. You have to be in good shape. Darren was our guide and he made the trip memorable. Our first stop was this beautiful private beach where we basked on the beauty of Roatan. Darren had cold bottled water and sweet mangoes for us. After kayaking through the lagoon and mangroves, we went back to the house to get ready to snorkel. We got quite exhausted from the kayaking but pushed through going snorkeling anyway. I wanted my kids to experience snorkeling as it’s a once in a lifetime deal. We went on a boat to the snorkel area. Darren guided my kids and sister to the reef area. They said it was the highlight of our 2-week vacation. Don’t hesitate to book with this company. I highly recommend them.

Kate was amazing, 10/10. If you’ve ever gotten off a cruise port, really anywhere, then you’re familiar with the barrage of people trying to get you to go on excursions or take their taxi. We were traveling with four young kids and wanted things as simple as possible and this definitely was what we needed. We pre-booked a car for the day and avoided all of the port chaos. We found our driver Kate easily and she spent the day with us taking us everywhere we needed to go and waiting for us while we had our fun. She made what is often a stressful part of cruise ports so easy. This is a must and a bargain at twice the price when visiting Roatan.

pick up location was kind of scary because you have to leave the US cruise port and walk up a hill to the transportation. we had a female driver who spoke english and spanish she was amazing she gave us a tour on the way to the sanctuary. once we arrived, we were greeted by 15 cats they were all friendly. we went in a group to the monkey and sloths we all had a chance to hold one and the monkey like to steal things out of backpacks so be careful your not too close to the cages, also you can stand in a cage with them... but i recommend you take off your earrings and necklaces they will take anything they can, we also held some parrots. we went to a boat who took us to the snorkle location it was so beautiful highly recommend it. there was a ship wreck we got to explore, we saw sting rays jellyfish and lots of crab. you are offered life jackets and we swim in a group. the group was small maybe about 9 of us. and 2 instructors

Second time booking and doing this excursion. Love love it! I could sit and hold the sloths all day. Everyone was super friendly. After the sloths had a great little lunch and then did some snorkeling. Was a great day! Would recommend.

My husband and I along with our son, daughter in law, 18 month old grandson and our 17 year old niece really enjoyed this excursion. I was nervous to book outside the ship at first but after reading the reviews I was sold on going for it and glad I did. The Roatan port is very chaotic and the signage exiting the port didn’t exactly line up with the instructions but it wasn’t that difficult to navigate. Those with little kids make sure you keep them close because there are a ton of tour guides and passengers spilling into the street and narrow sidewalks while waiting to leave. Roatan getaway tours was easy to find but until you get your assigned driver you’ll have to endure the wait. Our driver and our car was fabulous! We had a large SUV all to ourselves and learned a ton about the region from our driver whose name escapes me now! She is a native and her extensive knowledge was very interesting. Our grandson got a little overwhelmed by the monkeys jumping on him and checking his pocket but he recovered quickly. We held guinea pigs, sloths, macaws and went into a caged area where the little monkeys bounced from person to person and chasing each other. We loved it! The animals all appear very well taken care of. I underestimated how good the snorkeling was going to be and was pleasantly surprised how clear the water was and how long we got to snorkel for - about 40 mins. Tip: wear your bathing suit under your clothes so you don’t hold up the snorkel boat waiting for one of 2 changing rooms to do so. All in all this was a great experience and we highly recommend it!

This was the perfect excursion! Great communication about where to meet for the tour after getting off the ship. A nice vehicle took us to a very clean place to enjoy the animals and then we went back in the car for a short drive to get on a boat for some wonderful snorkeling!
