About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- iitravel2470 contributionsHighly recommended tourThis was a really well organised trip and special thanks to Dmitry our tour guide for taking care of the entire group. He shared many historical stories, interesting facts about Georgia, and helped us click pictures too. Now talking about the location, waoo, the landscape and view was so beautiful. It’s a very picturesque spot and I really enjoyed the time there. Lastly about the Monastery, it was a great experience to be there, very calm and peaceful. I am also very glad to have the opportunity to drink David's tears spring water.Written October 5, 2024
- gbmaison0 contributionsExcellent tour and guideThis is an excellent tour to become acquainted on a first visit to Tbilisi. Ilya was a wonderful guide. The pace was perfect and just the right amount of information. He did not mind me often taking photos whilst my wife spoke with him in Russian. Well worth taking a private tour for just the two of us. Overall a great experience and introduction to this amazing city.Written October 5, 2024

- 926kashifa0 contributionsTourguidetheir tour guide named SOSo was really bad and keeps on showing the hatred for some countries during all day. He should not shows his hatred towards other countries with travellers and making joke of their leaders.Written October 5, 2024

- aparnakochumon0 contributionsExcellent experienceUngo was an excellent guide - she explained everything very well, that too in detail. Ungo is not merely a guide; she has true passion for her job and ensures that her customers understand and experience everything about the trips she takes them on. Gamarjoba is one of the finest tour operators in Tbilisi - we have booked multiple tours with them and they are well organised, punctual, prompt with responses and ever ready to assist. Had a very enjoyable trip to Mtshekta, Jvari and Uplistsikhe. The destinations are breathtaking and we got enough time to explore everything and take photos. The trip was totally worth the effort and money. The only con, if i may add would be the set lunch. We pay 45 GEL ( 17 USD) per person which is a shared lunch between the people who have opted for it. The items are not replenished after the first and only serving which seemed inadequate for a large group. If they could at least include a second serving for the items, that would be good.Written October 3, 2024
- 925lu0 contributionsBest tour in Georgia! This was my favourite tour we had in Georgia so far and we've been on like 4 tours. So much fun and I loved all the locations. This was all made posible because of our amazing tour guide Gigi. He was so nice, professional and made us feel like at home. Would defenitely reccommend. Thanks Gigi for everything. - P4256LCabdulrahmana0 contributionsKakheti trip ♥️🌿This was my first time in Georgia and my first trip outside of Tbilisi. Pros: Overall, the tour was well-paced with no rush at any point. I loved all the places we visited, and Nina was very welcoming and informative. The views from the Saint Nino Church were stunning, and I think the time spent at Singagi should definitely be increased. Cons: The lunch at Singagi was overpriced for the portions, As someone who doesn’t eat pork, I requested chicken but only received three tiny pieces, which was disappointing. On top of that, for a 12-hour trip, the overall food portions were far too small to sustain us. Either the breakfast on our first stop or the lunch. But thanks so much for the experience and learned alot about the types of wine, which to drink when. Would definitely do it againWritten October 3, 2024

- Farouk C0 contributionsAmazing trip from Tbilisi to Armenia 🇦🇲Our recent trip to Armenia was a delightful experience. The tour guide, David, provided exceptional assistance and facilitated the border crossing process. The homemade lunch was both delicious and compliant with Halal dietary restrictions. We had the opportunity to visit several beautiful locations and met friendly individuals from various countries, including Brazil, Japan, and China. We express our sincere gratitude for the memorable experience.Written October 1, 2024
- 724leev0 contributionsGreat excursionGreat excursion and good value for money. Our tour guide was Shota who was great, he had plenty of knowledge of the sites we visited and kept things interesting. The driver was great too. Even though there was a problem with one of the roads that caused a tailback in both directions we managed to see everything and managed to get back to Tbilisi before 9pm.Written October 1, 2024
- NeilH1880 contributionsWonderful HospitalityThis was the most fabulous day out. Our guide Roma was excellent. He was so knowledgeable and his English fluent. The optional lunch was fabulous including a good amount of wine! After the tour we were invited into the Gamarjoba office for more wine & iced coffee. Wonderful hospitality!Written October 1, 2024

Tour guide and driver were lovely and very knowledgeable about Georgian culture and history. Skiing was lots of fun, as was the train ride.
