I only had one day left in Georgia and chose to do this over the Prometheus Cave / Martvili Canyon trip... And I have no regrets! Rather than spend a mediocre day with crowded tourists, this was an immersive, active experience getting up close and personal with the canyon. Tkhopra is not for the faint hearted though, some parts required big girl pants and a dose of courage! But under the instruction of the two very capable guides, I felt safe, and had lots of fun at the same time. Thank you for an excellent day!

Thanks for the adventure in the two canyons in Georgia. You work at the highest level. The fear had to be overcome, going down the 60 m waterfall. It is beautiful to experience something new in life. Thanks for that Gerogy and Giga.

Last week we booked a canyoning tour with Georgian Canyoning. The previous contact was easy and uncomplicated. We decided to try the Txopra canyon, which consists of a lot of rappeling in waterfalls up to 55m and were picked up in Kutaisi. Our guides Giga and Giorgi were very friendly and professional. The equipment was top notch and we always felt save during the trip. The canyon itself was beautiful and we would always recommend this to others traveling to Georgia.

This canyoning trip in the Txopra canyon consisted mainly of rappelling in waterfalls and less jumping and sliding and swimming than usual, but it was a lot of fun especially the first 7 waterfalls. Here the biggest waterfall was up to 25m, where we rappelled down by ourselves. The last and big waterfall, 55m, is unforgettable and the guys did a great job getting us through it. It was great fun!

I was traveling with my sister and we had a blast. The guides were phenomenal and treated us like good friends. They were very kind and responsive and knew the canyons like the back of their hands. They gave us the confidence to complete the canyon experience and always made us feel safe. I can not recommend this experience enough. You will love it at any level. I also recommend the barbecue after the canyoning. You can tell they genuinely loved food as much as we did. An added bonus, after they learned it was my sister’s birthday, they even surprised her with a sweet birthday treat.

Without a doubt the best experience during my 2,5 week stay in Georgia. We didn’t have much experience canyoning but Giorgi and Giga gave us a very safe feeling. They are very friendly, professional and funny. The Mszuisi canyon is absolutely stunning!

The canyoning was a great adventure! Starting at around 9 o’clock with a trip to the local supermarket to buy food for the BBQ. I was the only person for the canyoning that day so I had I privat tour with my guide Giorgi. After a drive with the car and a walk of a half hour we started in the canyon. It was a warm day: with a wetsuit the cold water was welcome! Jumping in the water, hiking through the canyon, rapelling down the rocks. It was amazing! And the environment was beautiful. The guide had a goPro so no worries about having to evidence and pictures. After a busy day we stopped on the way back at a river. My guide Giorgi made a campfire. We made the salade and with the georgian cheese, the baked meat and the cold beer it was a perfect was to finish the day. If you are in Kutaisi you shouldn’t miss this canyoning trip!
