I did a hybrid tour of the Tskaltubo sanatoriums with some friends. The tour was great, and the guide was able to accommodate all my requests. The stops were very informative, and we had plenty of time to explore each one! The guide even went out of his way to ensure I saw some more difficult things to visit. I would absolutely recommend!

It has been a pleasure to visit the abandoned sanatorium of Tskaltubo and get a private tour with Giorgi. Beside the sightseeing, he explained us a lot of historic facts about Georgia and the genesis of the sanatoriums, which allowed us to better understand the country. After Tskaltubo he brought us to the Sataplia reserve. We warmly thank him for his sincerity and the passion in his job! Great experience.

One of a kind wine tasting tour with Giorgi. It was really a nice experience and to enjoy authentic Giorgian wine, chacha and food. :) We did not expect to have a blast. Giorgi was a fantastic guide for this trip.

Giorgi was a great guide, very informative and helpful. A great mix of sights and experiences, especially Tskaltubo, Gelati, and Sataplia.

Giorgi was a superb tour guide, he speaks great English and communicated with me ahead of time on Whatsapp, and even offered to show me around Tskaltubo in addition to Chiatura, which I definitely could not have done on my own in the time allotted. He was born and raised in Kutaisi so his stories from growing up there during the late Soviet years add really nice background color as you get to know this part of Georgia.

I booked the tour because it included some sites I wanted to visit, and I was especially looking forward to viewing the dilapidated Soviet sanatoriums. The sanatoriums did not disappoint, and it was absolutely breathtaking to walk in them. The other stations were also mostly pretty interesting, just that the Sataplia Nature Reserve seemed to be directed more at kids. The guide contacted me before the tour via WhatsApp. During the tour, he was very knowledgeable, and he helped me to get a better understanding of the Georgian mindset.

Our excursion(s) with Giorgi made a significant difference in our Georgia experience. He is a very positive, well-informed, and friendly man. Giorgi was a guy who organized a company event for us (61 person). Transfers, hotel, city exploring tours, festive dinner - all was done on time, perfectly, without any missunderstandings or delays and even more - Giorgi was always ready to help and find solutions in any situation. It was the most successful event of our company (we have them every year) and colleagues are still talking about it and sharing their impressions. In addition Giorgi can offer private tours and show really interesting places also his homestay is lovely and in a perfect place. Two different Georgias - before and after we met our guide Giorgi. Nothing else to add, try to find a difference by yourself. It was unforgettable experience to know Georgia through his eyes.

Giorgi was the best. He was the reason our trip to kutaisi was an excellent one. On our first day we visited prometheus cave, martvili canyon etc. He has an excellent history knowledge so we did not just visited places. He taught us past and current Georgian history. On second day we visited monasteries and cellars. He had the best suggestions on what to visit. For example we went to a family cellar for a wine tasting. Fabulous! Also he was the best driver! People in Georgia drive as crazy, but not Giorgi. He was great!Last but not least he was so patient. We were three friends taking photos on each step. He was patiently waiting for all 1000 photos!!!:-) We will definitely going back to Georgia for more days and the only sure thing is that Giorgi will be our tour guide again.Thanksss Giorgi. Goergia indeed is a wonderful country. Our tour started from Kutaisi with a super nice local guide Giorgi. We visited Okatse Canyon and Okatse waterfall. After, Giorgi took us to a traditional restaurant in Martvili ( included in tour price) also he brought his home made wine and served us! Most of all I enjoyed Martvili Canyon tour, you don’t spend so much time there but the nature is just amazing. Also we visited Martvili Monastery and Prometeus Cave, which is a must see in western part of Georgia. During the tour Giorgi told us a lot about Giorgia’s history, culture and traditions. Don’t hesitate to take this tour! P.S: for students, take with you your student card, you will have big discounts at all attractions.
