The drive around was nice...will need to return to see sunrise at Cadillac Mtn (unable to see due to rain) and with bikes to explore more. We enjoyed the freedom of choosing which locations to linger at while still feeling like you’re accompanied by an experienced guide. The app was also easy to use and worked very well. I was a little confused at first with the audio instructions that I needed to switch tours in the home screen for the Ocean Path walk but after figuring it out it was a breeze! We loved it!We loved every minute of our driving and walking tours of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The informative dialogs popped up perfectly as we drove or walked along. This is a fantastically beautiful area and we were very impressed! The views were incredible and fun little experiences like trying the Jordan House popovers and walking around the summit of Cadillac Mountain made great memories for us. I kept saying, “And I’m not even in the Caribbean!” as I took in the breathtaking views. Wonderful experience!Written September 7, 2023

The audio walking tour of Bar Harbor was very easy to use. I downloaded it while at home on wi-fi as suggested in the email instructions and tested it out immediately afterwards. Worked like a charm even when I turned off wi-fi and data at home and in Maine. The narration went at a nice pace, the gentleman had a good voice and was easy to understand. My husband and I split a set of wireless ear pods that way we could hear the tour clearly and wouldn't disturb anyone around us. Plus we didn't have to huddle around the phone in order to hear it. This was 1 of 2 audio tours that we did from the same company and both were great. Would definitely use them again!

We enjoyed the tour very much. We learned a lot and it did not feel like 2 miles. Unfortunately we went on a Wednesday in August and their were so many people in town that we waited until early Thursday morning to take the tour to avoid the crowds. We were unable to cross the bar because we missed low tide but that’s on us.

What a great way to see Bar Harbor without costing an arm and a leg! The tour was very easy to navigate and by downloading the program ahead of time, you didn't need to worry about WiFi. We were able to go at our own pace, taking breaks to sit a bit, run into a store and even stop to get a snack/drink.
The information at each of the tour stops was concise and no more than 3 minutes each.

It wasn't clear to me that there wouldn't be a person or a desk to check in with. The harbor master said lots of people show up at his office based on the apps map of starting location abd he has no knowledge whatsoever of the company ... inside the pier shops are other tour desks who have never heard of this company. We spent half an hour stumbling around, going to the Visor Information desk downtown who knew nothing either ... then got within like sto #3 and the audio started playing off the app on my phone.

Cathy, I’m sorry for the confusion. This is a self-guided audio-walking tour of Bar Harbor, so there’s no need to check in with anyone—the app and tour need to be downloaded beforehand. The tour is valid for a year, not tied to a specific date, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it at home or on your next visit. We booked this as a last minute activity for a day in bar harbour. We weren’t expecting much for the price paid but it was blooming brilliant! I would absolutely recommend. It’s worth purchasing it at least the day before to make sure it’s downloaded etc. we had no issues with it and thought it was really simple and easy to use.

The tour gave us a good history of the area. It was just long enough. Enjoyed the turn around walk back along the waterfront. Only change I would have liked is less silence gaping between the stops. I kept feeling like I was disconnected.

Really enjoyed our tour with Action app once we figured out exactly how it worked. We were on a cruise and had a limited time for our tour. If like us, I would recommend becoming familiar with the app before you use it for the actual tour.
The information was excellent and corresponded automatically with our location which made it easy to follow.
