We spent 4 nights at Maungman beach, although it rained one full due to the monsoon, we had a great time being away from busy Yangon. Hello Dawei is a beautiful old colonial building where they serve delicious food! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They arranged our bus tickets and gave us a lot of advice for next time in Dawei. Highly recommended! We can´t wait to come back during high season and try the snorkelling!

We booked our flights from Yangon to Dawei, transfers and our hotel through Hello Dawei. The staff were all very professional and our whole trip went smoothly. We were also provided with some great ideas of things to do during our trip. We are so glad we listened because all the advise worked out really well, and we found some little gems that we couldn't have found by ourselves! We were able to book a motorbike to use through Hello Dawei, which they arranged to be brought directly to our hotel. The hotel we were provided was simple, but clean and had a wonderful sea view. Strongly recommend!

Spent a wonderful few days with my adult daughter at Paradise Beach Bungalows just before Christmas, and in and around Dawei after that. The guys at Hello Dawei were wonderful! Booked everything we needed while we just hung out in the cafe and worked our way through the menu. Seriously: the pizzas at their Old House Cafe are the best I’ve had for a long, long while. And the team is friendly, and fun, and accurate. A month later I’m now planning my second trip to Dawei, and Renato and the team is making it easy. Again. I messed up with a couple of things, but he spotted it, and now it’s sorted. Seriously good service. I owe this guy a beer!

I started making bookings 4month prior to my trip, because beach bungalows can be full during new year holiday season. As my trip approaches, I started asking my booking confirmation and quotes several times. Some responded ‘I will send you the vouchers tomorrow’ ‘I will send you the vouchers when the systems work’, but never vouchers or booking details were sent to me until I visited the office. The worst thing was a trekking trip in Dawei peninsula for 60USD. Upon arrival at the office, I was told the guide went to Thailand and the trekking was impossible on Jan 1st. Then I agreed that I would go trekking on January 2nd and paid the bill. When I called Hell Dawei office on the previous day of my trekking trip, the lady said that there was no guide available and she wanted to cancel the trekking. She knew that there was no guide but she didn’t cancel the trekking trip until the previous night. I argued because I booked the trekking 3month earlier and brought shoes for it. After several phone calls, she said she would send a guide for trekking. Good. The guide came to my bungalow with flip flops and did not know where to go. After making several phone calls, he understood that I wanted to go to a beach. He took me on his motorbike and started looking for the beach. After we came back to the bungalows, he asked the bungalow manager the direction to the hill behind the bungalows. It was 10 min walk. This is not a trekking. The bungalow managers/owners laughed at my ‘trekking’ trip. Hello Dawei should have informed me about non availability of trekking trip earlier instead of sending a person who does not know anything about a trek as a guide.

Just rented a bike and had some lovely food/coffee...but brilliant service and wonderful helpful staff. They do loads of tours including Paradise Beach Huts, which are a must....Beautiful area of authentic villages and gorgeous beaches.

Located in the beautiful 'Old House' Restaurant, terrace and garden where you can spend all day with different meals starting from breakfast, nice coffees and juices, Hello Dawei provides excellent tour services and all sorts of bookings. This includes transfer by car to Bangkok, which saves you a lot of time and costs compared to returning to Yangon and flying out from there. Multilingual Renato and his staff are not only knowledgeable but also very charming :) I rented my scooter here, left my luggage for a week in their locker and drove down to the beaches. Despite the stony, hilly, potholed roads and jungle paths, the scooter never broke down and was in excellent condition, which is vital when you cross deserted landscapes for hours on end. Different to Thailand, Indonesia and India you do need to show your driving license, passport, visa and must wear a helmet - otherwise you might fall prey to excessive police fines for foreigners.

Renato has a good knowledge about Myanmar, and all the staff is very cooperative and kind. In Hello Dawei you can find all the solutions for the traveller (Book hotel, book bikes, arrange trips). Very professional and helpful.

Hello Dawei knows all! Not only about Dawei and the beautifull area (really: do not skip Dawei!), but they can really give you some usefull advice and many options to continue your traveling. This in a spot with great breakfast, lunch and coffee! Take your time to go meet and talk to the lovely guys from Hello Dawei. When you book a tour with them; you will have a great time for sure. Ronaldo was so enthusiastic about Dawei and the surrounding area. We hired some great scooters from him and went to all the places he recommended so we never set a foot wrong! We also took a very professionally run boat trip and the office organised our onward bus travel to Myeik. Invaluable up to date local knowledge that allowed us to enjoy every moment we spent in delightful Dawei and the surrounding deserted beaches.

We rented motorbikes from Hello Dawei. They opened early for us when we called them, because we arrived early from a nightbus. Staff is friendly and helpful, and they checked the motorbikes carefully before renting them out to us. They also provided us with a lot more useful advice about Dawei & surroundings and booked bus tickets for us. We highly recommend them if you need more information about your trip to Dawei (plus, there is a great coffee place next door).

Hello Dawei was recommended by our hotel and when we went round (late) it was closed but he still called us back and arranged to come in the next day. Renato has super English and is very easy to talk to and get advice. We booked a tour of the area and a booking at Paradise Beach Villas. The tour was as expected (sad to miss Grandfather beach - but had already been told the road wasn’t safe after the rainy season). Stay at Paradise Beach was a dream, only wish we had more time there! Renato even helped organise our tour down in Myeik. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We took a package to Paradise beach with this agency and it was amazing experience! ! Renato and his staff are very friendly and informative. They treat us very well and fair. The package that they offer is great valued for the money. They organize everything that we needed for our stay and made our 4 nights unforgettable. We've rented a motorcycle through "Hello Dawei" while being in Dawei in January 2019. The staff speaks fluent English which is nice. The problem was, they gave us a bike with lose brakes. We crashed and had a terrible accident, injuring both of us badly. On the way down a very steep road our brakes didn't work properly, forcing us to crash to the side of the road with approx. 35km/h. My hip bone has been partly broken from the crash - still not fully healed. When we've confronted the owner with what happened, he didn't really seem to take us, or what happened, serious. He checked the brakes and confirmed, they were lose. He said we could have stopped by any mechanic to have them fixed, but at this point, the accident already happened. My advice: Double check the scooters - especially the brakes.
