      Little piece of heaven
If you are used to and enjoy big spas with lots of facilities and gourmet restaurants this probably isn't the place for you. However if you want a quieter more personal experience the Grange is fabulous. The location is nestled within the stunning Lincolnshire countryside and immediately calms the soul. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and gave us a tour followed by a lovely pot of tea. Being a plus size girl I wished I'd seen the notice about more robe sizes being available as my robe didn't really cover all which if I wasn't comfortable with my body I could of found uncomfortable. The swimming pool is lovely and so warm, the waterfall is a luxurious touch and eases the neck and shoulders. The beds around the pool are very low to the ground and my Mum did struggle getting on and off them (she basically had to roll off lol). The sauna, steam rooms and rainforest showers were great and I loved the fact that I didn't have to share the facilities with lots of other people. The little library and quiet room are a great touch, the quiet room was my favourite place as it was like being in someone's living room with lots of beanbags, sofas and fluffy blankets. Lunch had to be prebooked as I think it's outside catering, my chicken salad sandwich was nice and my Mum's ploughman's looked lovely. The little bistro could do with better tables and chairs although space is very limited and they've done wonders with the space available. We had booked hot stone massages and I have to say the ladies were incredible, they were so attentive and made us feel fabulous. The Grange really does offer a personal experience and the staff are amazing and do make you feel very at home, it's a small piece of heaven.

      Well worth a visit fantastic
It’s been a fantastic day, when we first arrived The reception team were friendly and very efficient. As it was a first visit everything was explained properly and we were able to fill out our health questionnaire there and then. We went and used the facilities and there was only around 10 others there, it was pure bliss. We decided to have afternoon tea instead of lunch and we wasn’t disappointed it was lovely lots of food we had to take it away. Also included was tea and cake which we also took cake away it was well worth the price. Then to finish we had treatments the cocoon wrap ritual it was fantastic an hours worth and I found it well worth the price. We purchased the mum and me package.

The best spa in the country…
Back to the Grange Spa for the first time since the pandemic and it was as good as ever! Lovely relaxed vibe, good service and lovely treatments. Thank you to Emma, Matt and all the team for looking after us so well. Hopefully it won’t be another 3 years before we’re back!

      Beautiful, hidden spa retreat
What a hidden gem! After the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, this is just what we needed. I booked the Cosy and Calm full day for two of us, with a 50 minute treatment and lunch included. Lunch was light but more than enough, plus you can purchase extras on the day, I.e. cakes etc. The fact that this is small is what makes it. There were no more than around 20 people so it made it very relaxing, far nicer than the larger corporate spas that are heaving with folk. The treatments were fab, I didn’t want it to end. Thank you, we shall return!

      Body Massage
Massage treatment for an hour of pure bliss. Lucy was lovely. Treatment was relaxing and felt wonderful afterwards. Nice products and heated bed. I will hopefully come for a twilight spa as the area looked super. Thank you Lucy and The Grange. X

      Disappointing Day
I have never had cause to complain about a visit to a Spa but, although the treatments were very good, The Grange itself was very disappointing. My daughters and I were celebrating my birthday and one of them had rung the day before to ensure that we would be finished by 4 o’clock, in time to collect the grandchildren. When we arrived this had not been taken into account and we had to reschedule the treatments. As far as the facilities were concerned, although there was a disabled toilet and wheelchair access, they did not cater for those with limited mobility as the beds and relaxing chairs were terribly low. I had to ask for a higher chair and was given an upright chair which is not conducive to relaxation. One daughter’s bed tipped backwards when she sat on it. How her head missed the wall I do not know! It was obviously not fit for purpose and could have been a health and safety issue. Also, some of the relaxing chair covers were stained and the wooden ones needed re-varnishing and mattresses provided – wood is hard on the body! The catering also left a lot to be desired. The eating area itself had two tables by the serving counter and two under the stairs with no view of ‘the wonderful Lincolnshire countryside’, all with hard seats. Two of our group had to ask for cutlery and a cup to be changed as they were dirty and there was no choice for lunch which consisted of a very salty mushroom soup, a sandwich of ham and camembert cheese, a little coleslaw and an individual loaf with no butter. Two of us do not like camembert but there was no alternative and when we asked for butter it was plonked on the table in its wrapper. We couldn’t eat the lunch and when we asked for the normal cheddar cheese to have with the ham we were told that they had already asked for dietary requirements! We were offered a choice of cakes instead but there was only one flapjack left and they had run out of brownies, although the carrot cake was very good. Overall, the treatments were very good and the treatment tables excellent, but the other facilities need an overhaul. Perhaps the gym could be fitted into a smaller area and improvements made to the eating area and menus. We were given a refund £12.50 for the meal but the experience was still not value for money and I shall not be returning.

      Wellness at it's finest! 💖🙏🌻
The Grange Spa...set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. Perfect for a special day of relaxation and pampering 🙏 and here's what we did... Arrived & settled with an aromatic coffee, stripped off and had a wonderful full body massage, sunbathed on the extensive lawns watching happy hopping bunnies, lunched on delicious healthy salads & honey chicken skewers with an elderflower cordial. Did 100 lengths in their warm luxury pool, 20 mins in the aromatic steam room, 20 mins in the herbal room, 20 mins in the sauna followed by ice exfoliation. Finished it off with a delicious cake & guzzled chilled prosecco, then an hour of browsing magazines by the pool. Have I convinced you yet? Thank you Grange Spa we 💖 you 😘

      A slice of heaven
What a beautiful find!! It’s taken me a few weeks to write this review as I’ve been so relaxed ever since. This boutique spa is far more personal than any other main stream spa I've been too, they actually care and treat you like an individual rather than just a number. All of The Grange spa team were super attentive with multifarious qualities. I imagine working here must be a great place to work. My therapist Natalie (an unforgettable name) was incredible. Her client care and attention to detail made me feel like a million dollars. If anyone is thinking of booking a treatment I would strongly recommend the Pinks Boutique Eco Chic facial- I’ve never had such a relaxing facial! If your looking for a peaceful escape to relax and unwind.. then look no further. Thankyou! Natalie x

      Expensive for not a lot.
Expensive. We added £10 to the cost for afternoon tea but realised when there that there would be no lunch. The cost of the day included lunch so I don’t quite know how we ended up paying more for less. The afternoon tea comprised of 2 finger sandwiches which equates to 1 round of bread, with a ham and a cheese. A cream scone and 2 pieces of cake. There is no restaurant so we ended up eating on our knees. There is a bistro that serves coffee and drinks and was told savoury and sweet snacks but soon realised the savoury snacks was a packet of crisps, the sweet snacks was the same cake we had for afternoon tea. The bistro only had small tables for 2 so if there is a group of you you won’t be able to sit together. I was not impressed. The spa itself was clean but on our day the only sauna was not working which left 2 steam rooms and the small pool. There is no jacuzzi. The drinking water dispenser was not refilled so had to go and find water to drink I didn’t have any treatments due to the high cost. The Grange is small with a very small number of visitors allowed at any one time which is nice, however I wouldn’t go again.

      Full day spa experience
Staff were brilliant, really really friendly. Treatments were high quality and very enjoyable. Well priced bar and lovely cakes. The pool area and general atmosphere of the spa is nice. Lunch was very small and unfortunately they booked our treatments at different times to each other so we spent 50% of the day alone which was really disappointing.

A truly relaxing experience with clean and comfortable facilities including a quiet lounge. Excellent service throughout. I found the delightful video tour of the Grange Spa on You Tube. It such a lovely Spa with friendly staff who give everyone a warm welcome and a tour around the building and the outside space. The Spa facilities were all very good. The water in the pool was just at the right temperature for me! I recently had the "Rural Reviver" half day with the Eco Chic facial with Natalie. This was truly excellent and included a massage. This is the only facial where I could immediately see the benefits to my skin! My half day did not include lunch but we pre-ordered it and paid separately for it. The lunch was made up from our selection of really fresh salads with grains, cooked chicken and a drink. It was served by Sarah who made sure that we had everything that we needed. The weather as good and so I enjoyed my lunch outside in the huge garden edged by Willow trees. My friend and I were so relaxed we were almost sorry that we had not booked afternoon tea as well, but we will do that next time!

I had a half day spa with a friend, and it was a lovely experience. Right from entering the beautiful grounds (even in todays soggy weather) and into the beautiful reception area. The young girl on the desk (advance apologies as I don’t remember any names!!) was very welcoming and helpful. A tour of facilities was given, and then straight into the pool area. Immaculate changing areas and beautiful pool area to relax in, with visitors being staggered with treatment times so areas were never crowded (due to Covid guidelines). Steam room and showers were wonderful, and the pool very peaceful.. and nothing seemed too much trouble, even when we booked an impromptu DIY facial before our main treatment. We had opted for the ‘back and beyond’ treatment; a wonderful massage, again with friendly and informative ladies.
We will certainly be back, Thanks to everyone.

Beautiful spa, facilities were spotless, treatment was excellent and the team are super-friendly. We finished with a delicious tea outside on the lawn and returned home super-chilled. Big thanks to all the team. We'll be back soon.

Been to this spa before and as per our previous visit the facilities and location are lovely. However this time it was let down by recent changes made and poor customer service.

The lunch menu used to be a lovely selection of locally made sandwiches, soups, crisps and salad - followed by cake. However this time we were offered no choices just a basic salad buffet which was served to us in small plates. We didn’t love the food and 2 out of three of us didn’t finish. A shame as the place has a small bistro / kitchen so why not use it?

The treatment time was supposed to be an hour each but we found our therapists were late on each occasion, which cut our time down to 50-55 mins. Not what we paid for.

The reception staff were quite abrupt and rude and when it came to leaving time were told we’d stayed beyond our 5pm deadline and would therefore be charged extra. Not something I expected to hear when we’d just paid for x3 people spa days, a bottle of champagne and x2 vouchers for future family visits.

Really disappointed. Bring back the food menu and please get staff who appreciate how to handle commercial situations with customers properly.

We just can not apologise enough, this makes for hard reading but all I can say is that we will do what we can to make everything better. We are scheduling some training in with the team over the next couple of weeks. With regards to the food if you have an expectation of what you would like we can achieve this for you. We use outside catering, a company called the catering crew, they are local and actually grow much of the produce themselves. The buffet that we do has true provenance which was important to us when finding a supplier as our roots are in farming. I am sorry that the food was not to your tastes but we can cater for sandwiches, soup, crisps and salad if you would prefer, just let us know on booking and we can arrange this for you with pleasure. I am really sorry to hear about your experience with us, it should not have happened but I promise you we will work on this and bring our customer service back up to the level that it should be. Thank you very much for this incredibly valuable feedback we will take this to the team and use it to get better. Thank you. Have a fabulous week and we hope to see you back at the spa again soon so that we can show how much we have improved. Warmest Regards Matt Craven Owner The Grange Spa

Awful I was left humiliated and embarrassed because of the way they advertised a mum and daughter spa 1/2 day cost nearly 400.00 in the end!! Definitely not worth the money!! I will never return or recommend anyone going there!! I have done other great spa days where you actually get a jacuzzi and a proper size pool and you can use the facilities for the full day not just 4 hours for not even a 1/4 of the price!! Please don’t Easter your money you will be so disappointed you realky will

Thank you so much for your feedback. All feedback is welcome and important to us, as we want to make sure we continue to improve in any way that we can. We thought it was important in this case to point out some of the facts surrounding your booking with us to help clarify things for anyone reading this.   We understand that you felt humiliated at reception; this seems a strong word, but we would like to point out that the individual you dealt with at reception, Jo, is, without doubt, the most kindhearted individual you are ever likely to encounter. She is polite, professional, and courteous, and we are aware that she tried to help rectify the situation as best she could. Jo gave options and was her usual courteous, polite, professional self. As far as I am aware, all parties were happy with the outcome of the day.  The spa package purchased, our “Mum and Me” package, is sold per person and this has been highlighted on several occasions on our website and online booking portal. You had booked this package for only one person. Online, you selected only one person for the booking, so as a business, we assumed only one person was attending. We can understand that turning up thinking you have booked for two people when you had only booked for one person would make you feel uncomfortable. We sent two booking confirmations, and we called to confirm your booking, there was no indication to us that there would be a second person attending before your arrival. Once you had arrived, we did everything that we could to provide alternatives; once Jo confirmed that you would have two of the same package, we again did everything that we could to fit this in as requested; this is no small task in a busy spa, to juggle the day around to meet the expectations of our clients; nevertheless, it is something that we do because we like to go the extra mile. On the day, you seemed happy with the resolution, and the feedback at the time was all positive.  Our facilities are small compared to some of the larger, more corporate spas, and we advertise them as such. However, to be clear, the spa sits on 9.2 acres, and the building is roughly 1000m2 in size. We have a beautiful spa pool, heat experiences, a fully equipped gym, and space to simply escape and relax. The Grange Spa has won multiple awards and national acclaim—not bad for a small family-run business!   For clarity, the total amount spent with us was £301. This was for two half-day spa experiences, including two one-hour treatments (50 minutes hands-on), tea and cake for two, and a bottle of Prosecco. Full day options are available. We understand that you will not be visiting us again, but we would like to thank you for taking the time to write a review and wish you all the best for the future.

Have visited The Grange for the first time today. I would like to give my thanks to Sarah who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs due to disability. Nothing was too much trouble for her and my husband and I really appreciated it as believe me it is a rarity. The spa itself was very relaxing and tranquil and we would definitely visit again. Our only slight disappointment was the afternoon tea, having paid £40 for it we thought it was a little on the small side with only 3 finger sandwiches each, two bite size cakes and a scone. I realise the food is ordered in so not the fault of the spa but as it was our anniversary it was slightly disappointing. It wouldn’t put us off coming again but I don’t think we would choose to eat next time. Thank you again Sarah for making our afternoon special and stress free.

Lovely friendly spa, I visited on a Tuesday morning and it was very quiet. All the staff were helpful and made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed the peace of a solo visit and the four hours flew by! It was spotlessly clean and easy to navigate . Lovely cheese platter and G&T for lunch. Great back massage, I left feeling pampered and relaxed. Looking forward to my next visit .
