Can not recommend this company and the day highly enough. This is our second trip with Pennicott and they are amazing. Skull Island is a place you definitely have to see with your own eyes.

    A fantastic day
We had a terrific day down the east coast of Wilsons promontory. Leaving from Pt Welshpool in the morning mist, the sun came out on and off and we had a varied appreciation of this spectacular coast with its sandy beaches, magnificent rocks and majestic hills. The crew was friendly and particularly well organised. WE enjoyed multiple coffees and biscuits, morning and afternoon tea. The lunch was very well presented in individual little boxes with bamboo cutlery , plentiful and tasty. It as great having a warm potato as we admired the scenery on the top deck . The 2 hours stopover in Refuge cove gave us the opportunity for a walk, Highlights were the numerous seals sunning themselves and jumping off into the sea from seal rock and the dolphins following the boat on 2 different occasions..

    Wilson’s Prom Cruises
We have been coming to “The Prom” for 50 years and the Wilson’s Prom cruise we did recently was the best thing we have ever done here. Our skipper Justin and our guide Sam were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and superb hosts who guided us from Norman Bay and out to South Point, the lighthouse, Skull Rock and home via glimpses of The Glennies. Along the way we were entertained and tutored about flora, fauna and animals that included Sea Eagles, Falcons, Seals and even a juvenile Humpback whale that we saw up close and personal. What a fabulous experience, that I highly recommend. Terry Green.

    Fantastic day at Wilson’s Promontory
Wow have these guys got it right. Friendly staff who were just so helpful all day. The food oh my it was good. Morning tea, lunch, dessert and an awesome fruit platter for arvo tea. All individually served being very COVID safe. The scenery was just spectacular. Crystal clear waters and a boulders of all shapes and sizes created such a picturesque views of the Prom. The cruise went for 9 hours and other than the hour and half we were ashore, swimming in Refuge cove we were spotting seals and loads of native birds. Certainly the best way to see Wilson’s Prom. I will certainly go again.

    Summer Prom cruise
Perfect sunshiny day on the water, exciting trip, pretty bumpy on the way out so grateful for the ginger tablets provided. Skull rock was sensational, loved the playful seals and was fabulous to see the lighthouse. I’ve stayed and hiked at the Prom a dozen times but this new perspective was amazing. Thanks Dave for just the right balance of humour, passion and commentary.

    Absolutely Awesome!
This was an absolutely awesome experience! Having sailed in Europe and NZ I can honestly say this was up there with an uniquely Australian feel and experience. From the moment we stepped into the front office we felt welcomed by Tara to the boys on the boat Toby and Sam who were so caring informative and friendly. Scull rock was unique and so amazing up close, the photos don’t do it justice. Would definitely recommend and do this trip again, I feel there would be something new to see every time! Worth every $ and our teenage kids loved it.

    Spectacular scenery and fun experience
Stunning boating experience along the Prom coast, down to the southern most tip of Australia and around spectacular islands abundant with seal life. I didn’t feel sea sick (thanks to the ginger tablets that were offered). The crew were very knowledgeable, friendly and talented boat handlers. This trip was exhilarating- highly recommended!

Wilson’s prom tour with hundreds of seals.!
The Pennicott cruise around Wilson’s prom exceeded our expectations. The boat is really appropriate - small enough but super stable and fast when it needs to be., handled the swell really well., plenty of time to stand up when you’re at the Wright s and take pics.. up close..! The staff were very professional, knew a lot, pointed out interesting facts and locations., all with a dash of Aussie humour. The seals were a stand out.... so many seals.!!! And so happy to be around the boat.. the rules are well laid out around safety and presently health and social distancing etc., fantastic wind breaker jackets provided., all super clean and new and comfy... highly recommend this for any age. X

A great activity for all ages
This was an amazing adventure, the scenery is breathtaking, the information from the guides is superb and they are amazing from the start. The boats they take you out on are grays of engineering. They were amazing with a few of us that got sea sick, but still it was a great time had by all.

A new perspective if the Prom
As frequent visitors of the Prom, we were excited to see it from a doc perspective. This tour is highly recommend. Professional and friendly knowledgeable staff. Skull rock was amazing and seeing little Oberon Bay from the Ocean was a real treat, as it is one of our favourite walks

    Wildlife Coast Wilson Prom Cruise
Yesterday my Husband and I traveled down to Port Welshpool to cruise on the Brianna Lee around Wilsons Prom , a 6 hour trip on the boat cruising from the inlet then on towards the Prom , weather perfect , we saw Dolphins, seals , shearwaters, shy albatross and some very shy Whales , also breathtaking scenery right around till we reached the southern most tip of mainland Australia . Captain Michael was very knowledgeable, very down to earth , his crew were fantastic . Would definitely recommend this cruise .

A very professional operator with very professional staff with great boats who gives one a great experience with the best of customer service.
David and Renae are a credit to the operation.
The $135 fare sounded expensive but given the quality of tour is really great value

This new experience has only been operating 3 months but had taken 11 years to get through the permits to happen.
Only way to see the real beauty of the Prom is by water however no boats are allowed to operate in this wilderness until this special permit was granted.
The $1 m amphibious vehicles/boats are a wonder in themselves
Skull island, seal colonies, numerous bird colonies are only the start of a 2 1/2 hour adventure that is a must if visiting Victoria or Australia for that matter. Our cousins from the Yukon were blown away

We had a great time from the beginning to the finish and although the weather/sea was a little bit rough in places the overall experience was very enjoyable. The staff were fantastic and informative and would answer all questions they were asked. The scenery was amazing and to add an awesome ingredient we were given a show by two humpback whales and a pod of dolphins!

I was initially a bit put off by the price, which is $135pp for a 3 hour cruise, but now that I've done it I have to say it was worth every cent. The sights were beautiful, and we stopped at so many gorgeous bays, inlets, seal colonies and islands.

You need to bring your own water but there is a little on board - they provide natural ginger tablets for anyone worried about motion sickness as well. In terms of inclusions it's worth remembering that this is an eco-experience rather than a leisure cruise, so not much is provided, but honestly I think it's better this way; not providing lunch etc. means more time to explore and the time flies by as it is.

The amphibious, environmentally friendly boat is also really cool and pretty comfy to ride around in!

100% recommend, this was a phenomenal experience and I'm so glad we decided to do it.

We had a beautiful excursion on an overall rough day.
The cruise was almost cancelled because of the wind.
The crew was absolutely fantastic, the captain tried his best to keep us fairly straight on the big waves.
They told us everything in advance, it’s really worth to have layers on especially on such a windy day. Take those ginger tablets they offer - some kids were sick during the 2,5 hours.
The speed is amazing and the views are incomparable.
My husband is not easy to impress but he absolutely loved the experience!

Have been on previous cruises with the same company on three occasions from Bruny Island, this is the first time out of Tidal River. The ribs that are used are a unique vessel , fast , maneuverable and safe in most weather conditions. The Tidal River vessels are unique again in that they that they have wheels and can enter the sea negating the need to build a jetty. An ATV is parked alongside the vessel that is equipped with steps that make it easy to get on board. The area on the west side of the Prom is studded with Islands , these vessels enable viewing of a number of Island , some inhabited by seals but the most spectacular being Skull Rock. You will need to don the cape provided as occasionally spray will break over the side.
The vessel I was on was skippered by Sam who not only navigated the vessel but gave informative details of what we were viewing.Fantastic experience is a most unique vessel with an excellent skipper and crew.. Highly recommend.

I had seen this cruise advertised online recently as it has only been operating for the last 6 months or so, so thought we must go since we were staying at Tidal River campground for a couple of nights. It was a fabulous way to see a few of the rocky outlying islands around Wilson's Promontory with Skull Rock being one of the highlights. Another highlight was seeing the hundreds of Australian and NZ fur seals sunbathing on the rocks and frollicking in the water. It was a sight to behold. We were so close we could smell them (not the sweetest smell mind you). Our skipper Dave and his crew were so informative and friendly and took care of our every need. They took special care of the younger members of the group too, making sure they wore life vests and supervising them when we were able to get out of our seats. The amphibious boat was a fun experience in itself and fortunately we had nice weather which added to the experience. I would highly recommend this adventure.

The whole experience from start to finish and this boat cruise was amazing. We have done a couple of the other cruises that this company operates in Tasmania and was very keen to do this cruise and it didn't disappoint. Staff were great and the trip was amazing and worth the money. We loved our time on the water and saw lots and event saw Tasmania (an island that is in Tasmanian waters), which was very cool. Thoroughly recommend this trip and the boats that have been made just for this cruise are very interesting and amazing to be on. Fantastic - please do this cruise and its suitable for all ages.

Absolutely spectacular! Our skipper Dave was awesome, she showed us Eagle nests, then we saw eagles, seals, dolphins and got up close and personal with some of the most breathtaking coastline on the planet. Would highly recommend this trip, it's worth every coin. 10/10 - well done!

A wonderful experience; sorry it had to finish! Comfortable, fast, efficient and very interesting boat (with wheels to drive out onto the beach). Each of the 30 seats gives a good view and they have up to three boats to cope with demand. A knowledgeable crew giving informative and entertaining commentary on what we saw. A great itinerary along the coast to South Point and then back through the offshore islands, stopping at a huge seal colony. We even enjoyed excellent weather conditions.
