I booked this with a friend, it was just us two girls on the safari, with the tour guide and driver. The safari itself was amazing, we saw so many beautiful animal and the guide was very knowledgeable, however, things quickly turned very dark. Before we left the driver stopped at a clearing to have a cigarette, where he also asked for pictures with the two of us - completely inappropriate. As it was time to leave, without asking, the tour guide instructed the driver to drive out of the park and through the local down, it was getting dark and we had no idea what was happening. He then stopped at a local lake, we were told to get out and appreciate the beauty. We were terrified but too scared to say anything, we just acted polite and hoped he would take us back soon. It didn't end here, he then drove us to where he lived, asked us to get out but we said no, then he tried to stop to buy us sugar cane, again, whilst trying to not show how scared we were we said no politely. It took a great deal of persuasion to get him to actually take us back to our driver who was waiting for us outside the safari park. He drove us around for nearly an hour in complete darkness without telling us what was happening. We were absolutely terrified, this was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me and I genuinely thought something terrible was going to happen. We are two young girls who were incredibly vulnerable in a country we didnt know. I will be reporting this man to local authorities.
