- naybri0 contributionsDefinitely something you must do!!This company provides the excursions for cruise lines that is the reason the one I did does not show on the ones offered. "Brimstone Hill and Fairview Great House" was the one I did. Winston was the driver and the guide. What a great guide, he drives very good and safe, provided at all times, a lot of interesting information while driving, pointing us to different places and giving us good facts about the Island. Fairview house nice and interesting, however Brimstone Hill is amazing, what a view of the island, nice breeze, good history. Definitely a place to visit.Written April 2, 2024
- AnnP550 contributionsExceptional ExperienceOutstanding experience from start to finish. The magnificent historic plantation house is a perfect setting for learning about the food, history and culture of St Kitts. The guides (driver and chef) are extremely knowledgeable and personable. A nice variety of local dishes that could be replicated at home were prepared for our dining enjoyment. Rum tasting was available and a tour of the house & gardens was a nice addition. There is also a pool on the property that can be enjoyed by guests. Extremely professional staff provided an exceptional experience and meal.Written February 20, 2024
- brandonpN1727ZL0 contributionsChef Che shares local cooking traditionsWe booked this excellent cooking class as an optional ship’s tour from a Viking cruise. Wonderful experience. Great setup-mirrors over the counter so you can see the work from different angles no matter where you sit. Che is a great chef, and skilled at sharing her take on island cooking traditions. She explains the ingredients and gives links to her recipes. Well worth the time, and you’ll thoroughly enjoy the meal she prepares.Written December 2, 2023
- P963VDdianem0 contributionsWonderful TourWe had a rocky start but the Kantours team worked together and all was fabulous. We enjoyed our tour guide and all the stops. It was wonderful to be in between the tour buses on our private tour. Our first stop at Fairview Great House was extra exciting because a wedding was going on there! It was fun to see an island wedding. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the island. We had a great time on St. Kitts.Written November 5, 2023
- flyeaa0 contributionsKantours was the Best!I want to thank Shania immensely for your help arranging everything for us, especially since I had such a hard time finding anyone that would combine what we wanted to do. I reached out to so many companies to see if we could do an ATV tour with a rainforest hike (only on St. Kitts for a day off a cruise.) Most companies said no and some didn't get back to me. Shania set it all up and it was flawless! Venetia was the woman who drove us to the atv place and she was fantastic! She was very friendly and informative. We got a little sidetracked getting set up for the atv stuff and didn't tip her and feel awful about it because she was so great, gave us so much history of her beautiful island. The atv group was very friendly and Mari who toured us was great! The guy down the Hill making the chicken on the grill was fantastic too! Please stop there if you can to get some of his chicken, rice, lobsters, garlic bread. Delicious! Along the same street, locals were selling gooseberries, starfruit, and other local fruits. The starfruit was delicious! Shane, our rainforest hike guide, was there right away and he patiently waited while we ate our lunch. He was very friendly, made sure we were safe when some local guy was talking to us (harmless.) Made sure we were okay to keep hiking, very informative. You hooked us up with the perfect people for us. We had 7 islands we visited and at the end of the trip, everyone said St. Kitts and the excursions we did there were our favorite. We are never unanimous on anything! For reference, our group is 2 parents, 3 kids ages 15, 12, and 9.Written April 8, 2023

- J2424ERchristopherg0 contributionsSUNNYOur guide was very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. We walked away from the tour with a good understanding of the history and current day of Saint Kitts, I am so glad.Written March 23, 2023
- kevinrY7741WA0 contributionsVery good, but not enough timeThe only downside was that there was not enough time to fully take in the important sites. Our guide was very informative. Fairview was beautiful and also very informative about the slave trade history, but we didn't have enough time to go through the entire exhibit. Brimstone was impressive, but again, not enough time to really explore it. We would also liked to have seen more of Romney besides just the batik shop, but not enough time. Timothy Hill was a nice view, but we would have traded it for more time at the other stops.Written March 4, 2023
- elizabeth_ten80 contributionsGreat West Indies FlavorsThis tour was part of a cruise line shore excursion. Chef Chey did a wonderful job explaining the flavors of the islands while showing off her cooking skills. The end-result lunch and dessert were great! So flavorful! And, she even shared the recipes with anyone interested in trying to recreate the dishes at home. 100% recommend this tour!Written February 6, 2023

- Resort082907426870 contributionsAwesome cooking demonstration at Fairview PlantationWow! Absolutely awesome. Chef Che and guide Maya really hit it out of the park. The cooking demonstration and meal came with a tour of a sugarcane plantation. The food was awesome. Additionally, I’m excited to attempt to replicate it at home.Written January 7, 2023

- H5139ZMjordank0 contributionsBe weary of them changing the tour times on you, and not telling you until the cancellation window has passed...I would give a zero if I could. I booked the 9am tour in advance, and was contacted recommending I switch to the day prior because it was already confirmed. I did this, and it was never communicated that the tour was at 1:30 not 9am. It wasn’t until the morning of the tour that I received an email stating the tour was at 1:30 (email came at 9:18pm the night before, but we were sleeping already) I tried calling multiple times from the hotel that morning, with no response. Emailed indicating I would like a refund because we had a 3pm hotel transfer to Nevis and wouldn’t be able to attend a 1:30 tour. No response at all after this. Still trying to dispute the charge with credit card company, because Kantours apparently thinks not communicating the actual tour time until after the cancellation window has passed, is okay? The tour looked awesome, but that doesn’t mean anything when you can’t actually attend it ...Written February 27, 2020
