Emilio was a wonderful host and story teller. We were fascinated by the historical aspects and preservation and use of the traditional cellars. He really took his time and explained everything well, including the wines as to vintage and qualities. Was very informative and tasty!

The wine cellar tour really didn’t let us down! Not only is it a very beautiful space, our guide was a great story teller and shared the history of the space. It was so interesting and we had time to explore and take pictures, before heading up to the tasting, which was also excellent. We got a lot of information about the different wines we were tasting, and about the importance of this wine in the Tuscan history. Overall, it was a really great experience and definitely well worth it.

We had a great tour. It was very informative. Would recommend it to everybody who is interested. The only thing that would of made it better would be to have the earphones to hear our host speak.

Taking the walking tour with Pamela the history and politics of the town came alive. Pamela was passionate, informative and entertaining. Her knowledge spanned history, art religion and local culture. My three siblings and partners took this tour and Pamela accommodated all our questions. We highly recommend this tour.

We met the wonderful Alessandra last week for a private tour of Assisi including the Basilica. We are a family of 5, with kids ages 8, 12, and 14. I'm an artist and this was not my first experience in Assisi, so Alessandra had her work cut out for her to engage my interests as well as the kids. She was amazing, incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and fun to talk to. We learned so much and I left with a filled-in picture of the context for what we were seeing, and deeply inspired. We did 5 different tours in the last couple of weeks in two different countries, and Alessandra was our absolute favorite.

Our guide Emilio provided great information about the history of the cellar, the wine making process, and about the different wines. We all enjoyed it. Tour was available in English or Italian.

We had an excellent three hour walking tour, led by Werner. He was knowledgable informative, engaging and friendly. We were the only two on the walk which enabled Werner to spend time to really engage with us. By the end of the walk we felt that we had made a new friend. Werner led us along roads off the tourist track enabling us to see different aspects of Assisi. He has a deep knowledge of the history of the town and he clearly showed and explained different aspects in a very interesting and understanding manner. We enjoyed the walk, learned a great deal about Assisi and would highly recommend the walk and Werner as the guide.

Great tour, very informative of the history of the cellar. The guide spoke perfect english and made the tour interesting. For the tasting we got to taste 6 wines and had a snack plate each. The entire experience took around 2 hours, as we were able to sit down and enjoy our wines slowly. Great activity to do if you're in the area. If you go onto their website, there is also more tour times available if none of the ones on trip advisor suit you (we ended up changing ours to a later time via email and it was a very quick and easy process)

We learned so much about the beloved St Francis of Assisi. Our guide was amazing and patient with answering all of our questions. She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk to.

Eleanora was fantastic! She tailored to the needs of my mother and aunt, careful to keep us shaded from the hot July sun! Her stories and details were amazing. She showed us an Arezzo we will never forget!

Our guide was a local who lived in Assisi so he had great general knowledge of the town and the area and it’s history. He took us to areas that were away from usual tourist tracks and showed us parts of the city we would not otherwise have seen. His knowledge of the main historical sites was deep and delivered in a most interesting way. One of the best guides, and the nicest, I have ever had and therefore one of the best tours and great value for money.

Excellent tour - informative host who brought the history to life. Whilst there are free “experiences” this is definitely a great place to visit. The tasting experience was well laid out and good.
