- jolandastrik0 contributionsSUV tour (3 hours) CachiWe booked a 3-hour Cachi tour. Tour guide Ernesto picked us up at our hotel in a very spacious SUV, exactly on time. During the afternoon he showed us places we would have never found alone. They also explain very well all the best of Cachi. They provided us also for FREE with cold water, which we forgot to bring. This tour is a perfect way to learn about Cachi. Many photostops also during the trip, which is great.Written April 2, 2023

- mapko640 contributionsMagnificent tour through Calchaqui valleysThe 2-day tour from Cafayate to Salta through Calchaqui valleys was magnificent. The first day Lucio was my guide, a nice, quiet and very helpful grandfather. The second day I was with Ernesto, the owner of the agency, highly trained and truly in love with his valley. The night I slept in Cachi, a very lovely pueblo. Along the way we crossed unforgettable landscapes, like the Quebrada de las Fechas, and visited picturesque villages. Along the road to La Poma, the perfectly preserved Incas granaries were a wonderful surprise. I recommend this agency to everyone! Much better than the daily tours offered by Salta agencies.Written April 10, 2019

We went from Cachi to Abra del Acay, the highest point of a National Route in all of America at 4895 MSNM. Incredible landscapes of Northern Argentina where, despite everything, the traditions and culture of our Native Peoples are preserved. Exceptional Ernesto, local guide, born here, knowledgeable like no one else about the area. My challenge was to go with a 61 IKA Jeep with 72 Ford mechanics while maintaining the technology of the middle of the last century!!! Without Ernesto's guidance it would not have been possible!!!

Ernesto is an excellent guide, his stories make you fall in love with the geography of the area, its stories, its culture and the respect they have for caring for nature.
I was in Cachi many times on vacation, and it was a huge surprise to find a town so similar to my memory almost 35 years later!
