Excellent village / Nature tour with Sanjaya our driver/guide from Walkers Tours. Lead by Chinthaka Ranjith Piyarsthna, who was excellent at answering all our questions. A very informative tour walking around and meeting the lovely friendly village community. The best part was meeting the love family at the end of the tour and been given a demonstration of their cooking skills in preparing a fantastic and tasty traditional lunch for us. A happy, smiling family. A great tour to go on, would highly recommend it.

The fundamentals all went as planned and required ....But..... The vehicle was shabby, with bits of the foam protectors falling off and the matting being of no use at all. The seats were dirty (I can live with that) and there was nowhere to put a bottle of water (other vehicles had this as I checked) The driver come guide spoke no English at all....so there was no 'guiding'. I was travelling solo and should have tried to hook into another tour as it was not as much fun just being in the back of an old truck on my own. There are Government Guides (I found out afterwards) who could have accompanied me but of course....No English meant this was not explained. Lastly, when I arrived .....someone at their Head Office advised me (through my driver) that I had to pay more Money. This was never going to happen as I already knew that the Park entrance Fee had to be paid additionally to what I had already paid. Suffice to say that this just aggravated me but it was resolved (I did NOT pay anymore and I still tipped the driver) The Safari itself was good but this provider was definitely lacking! My suggestion would be to discuss this with your Hotel as there are literally .....Hundreds of Operators to choose from.

Had an excellent experience with this company. Saw more than 150 elephants on the gathering. Thilina our driver was entertaining. Would recommend this company. Just remember that price is not inclusive of park entry which is $15us per person.
