          Great experience.
This was actually fun. Had a great time. The monkey are cute and super light. I was about to get some pics with my phone and they took pics too. This is great for family, solo or with significant other. I would definitely recommend. I’m glad that I booked for this. The team were great and caring for the monkeys. 🐒

          So fun!!
One of the highlights of our trip to Punta Cana. Guides were so amazing and super fun. The monkeys were so soft and friendly. Photos were fairly cheap compared to other excursions- $40 for digital copies of all of them. The hot chocolate and coffee tasting is so great!

One of the very best excursions in Punta Cana!
Great experience, and easily one of the highlights of my six-days in Punta Cana. They do a great job teaching you about coffee and coca and about the people and life in the region - then you get up close and personal with the monkeys! Love it and would absolutely do this one again!

Very bad experience, NOT RECOMMEND !!!
I had Monkey Land trip with family (where is 2 small kids). The price was so high but quality of this tour was terrible!! Small bus took a lot of people, it was crowded, and Guide was joking to take more people…deplorable service after paying such money, people are transported not humane in this heat. The bus did not have baggage place so the Guide damaged the roof of the baby cart when he removed the baby cart from the bus, because he was lifting behind the roof. The company responded to this that: “our company cannot be held responsible for any personal item that are damaged during the tour”!!! OMG!!! During the tour we saw only one species of monkey and this is called Monkey land🤣 not worth money at all..and at the end you have damed your baby cart without any compensation… good thing we didn't buy another excursion because I heard from others that it is dangerous, they don't give children life jackets on the boat.

A great excursion. PJ host was humorous and very knowledgeable. A great learning experience. The buggies ride was very adventurous. The creek was great for getting in the water and cooling off. You learn alot about their coco, honey is made. The squirrel monkeys was an awesome experience.

          Monkeyland Tour
What a wonderful experience. Eddy and Candyman ( were great guides. On the drive to Monkeyland they shared information about their country making for a fun and informative experience. While at Monkeyland the monkeys were so much fun. Definitely an experience of a lifetime!

A must visit place while in the Dominican Republic.
Let’s start with the driver - Juan Carlos aka Dominican Republic Tom Cruise ….the drive from the resort to Monkeyland was very informative - we learned a lot about the culture, as well as the local schools and families this adventure helps support. He’s also hilarious so you’ll be laughing the entire time. If you can - ask to be on his tour!!!! On to the adventure - I wish we had more time with the monkeys but overall was a great experience. It is so fun to have them climb all over you and we got some cute pictures. My 7 year old loved it! The gift shop has cute items that are ten times cheaper than the resort and some of them are handmade and make great souvenirs/gifts. Also took the informative tour and got to learn about the cocoa, coffee and mamajuana process (also got to sample all of it as well!) BUY THE COCOA OIL THEY SELL AT THE END OF THE TOUR - my husband has terribly rough hands from work, one spray of that and it’s already smoothing out - wish I would have bought more. All in all - great experience….it does get hot so I recommend the morning tour rather than the afternoon one.

          So much fun!
a bit pricey for a 30 min tour. However, lots of fun watching and feeding monkeys. My 2-year-old child talks about these monkeys everyday now.

          Great Family Experience @ Monkeyland
Really great experience my family and I had here at Monkeyland! The whole staff was excellent, especially our guide Albert and photographer Wander. Transportation wise I cannot comment since my family and I drove ourselves, but the drive from Stanza Mare to Monkeyland was an hour long. The experience starts out with instructions in a large open room adjacent to a gift shop. Bags are not allowed in the area with the monkeys, so you are required to purchase a lock and locker for $5 USD to store your prohibited items (you then keep the lock, you bought it). You then go to 2 areas within a large cage/sanctuary and feed the monkeys from a stainless steel bowl. The monkeys jump and go from person to person. They stand on your head, shoulders, swing from the trees and everything in between. Tons of opportunities for photos and videos, our guide Albert expressed that often, so do not feel afraid to take them! There is a photographer who takes photos throughout the 2 areas where you go. Purchasing the photos are completely optional. You are able to look at the photos and select the ones you want, or pay for all of them for $50. Some were good, some were bad. The monkeys are not always too cooperative once you no longer have food in your bowl. Overall, the trip was definitely worth the price of admission. This truly was a great experience with a lot of memories made. My family did not stay for the plantation safari tour, so I am unable to comment on that experience.

          Great family half day trip!
We had a great time! Our tour guide was Ruddy and he was amazing and very informational. We traveled with a 5 and 2 year old and they were really engaged! If you can bring a travel fan as my little one got hot with the humidity. I would not recommend bringing a stroller. We did the morning trip and was back in time for lunch and then nap!

Amazing experience! Was picked up by Sexy Papi as our tour guide and he was immediately so friendly!! He amused my children and our family! We got to monkey land and our monkey guides were so kind insuring you got the photo and experience you wanted with the monkey!!! Then sexy papi lead us to learn about the cocoa plantation. Tried some delicious hot chocolate, coffee and mama Juana. Amazing experience! Especially if you get sexy papi as a tour guide. He makes you feel right at home/ like family!

          Amazing Experience would highly recommend
Coach picked us up at 7:40am took us straight to Monkeyland. The coffee and cocoa chat was really interesting we enjoyed it and it wasnt too long for our 2 young children to sit through. Then we had hot chocolate and coffee tasting and mamahuana tasting which was lovely. Had the chance to buy some products which we did, bought the oil for natural insect repellent, cocoa butter and mamahuana. Unfortunately the bottle of mamahuana had leaked by the time we got back to our hotel and when we smelt it it smelt off so we had to throw it away so that was a complete and utter waste of money. Think it had been open for a while the smell on it was disgusting. Had to leave all bags in a locker or ottoman. We took our phones with us which was fine. Do not take any food with you! The keepers gave us bowls of food for the monkeys to come from the trees they were so light and adorable so cute didnt feel threatened by us or scared at all. They didnt feel like they were in captivity because you could see jungle for miles and they wasnt caged and they wasnt tame enough to be petted. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend it such a great experience for the family the kids loved it too although I may have enjoyed it more!

          Beautiful experience
My Familia and I had a beautiful fun experience. Time spent with the monkeys were just right. Rafael gave us very fun facts about the spider monkeys, Wonder the photographer took beautiful pictures. They both were very professional at what they do. We learned and tasted cacao beans, tasted the coffee and some Mama Juana. I highly recommend MonkeyLand

My wife and I went on this excursion as part of a P&O Cruise.
        It is an incredible experience!
The staff are really nice and friendly and provide a training session before the zip line tour commences.
There are 12 platforms with zip lines ranging from 62m to 800m above the ground.
There is a member of staff at each platform to ensure you arrive safely.
Line 11 consists of two lines in parallel so you can ‘race’ against your partner.
Staff take photos at the beginning and during the tour which you can purchase afterwards.
Harnesses and helmets are safe and secure.
It was an incredible experience, thanks also to Josef and Wendy for the coach trip to the zip line.
It has been the highlight of our cruise so far.

Me and my husband went on Carnival cruise last year in October and when we stopped in the Dominican Republic, we chose to do the extreme zipline adventure . We had a great and funny guide, Maximo and our driver Manuel. The zipline was great but wasn’t as fun as we had the first time..long time ago. I’m a person that likes adventure and I told my husband I would have preferred to see their beautiful beaches instead, like Saona. I saw my sister in law’s pictures and the beach was amazing, they got drinks and snacks and danced on the boat/beach.

As my wife had always wanted to do zip lining I looked over in uk and they had a few but for the three of us it was working out in excess of £350 then you had cost of travelling it was definitely a no go.
We had a trip coming up going to Dominican Republic so I browsed the activities and found that Runners did a trip consisting of 12 zip wires over the jungle and along the river so I pre booked it on their web site and all it cost was 270 Dollars which included all transportations they also offer free cancellations with your total monies returned up to 24 hours prior to the activity.
Well on the day the open back lorry picked up us from the hotel on time where we was transported a few miles down the road to change into their coach.
The coach driver and rep were fantastic and the best part about it is they were communicating in English so we did not feel out of place upon arrival to the destination we were briefed about all the safety aspects and was even told that through the experience we could give up at any set stage which made me feel better because by now I had really bad butterflies.
We was shown a dummy run with what to do during each separate wire then off we went guided by their fantastic group of guides well after the first 4 lines we were told the wires now were fast and believe me they were fantastic we was zipping high over the jungle and rivers at really fast pace came to the eleventh wire which was the longest and fastest and believe me it was fast the twelfth wire was a twin wire where you raced against your partners it was really great I can honestly say we enjoyed the experience and me and my wife are in our 60’s my daughter is 25 and she enjoyed it as well if you are ever in Dominican Republic you have got to do this adventure

We were staying at a resort in Punta Cana, they picked us up right on time, the transportation, the food, and the thrills were all they were advertised to be! Manuel was our guide and JP our instructor and they were great! Great explanations in English and Spanish! The Zip lines were great, and SAFE (Mom’s biggest concern)! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to see the beauty from the air! We also did the Jungle Buggies with these guys and they didn’t disappoint! 👍

We took our 11 year old son and 77 year old mom - and both had no problems. Its a long, long ride from Bayahibe, but they picked us up from our hotel Iberostar on time. It was rainy most of the day but it wasn't a problem. The bumpy long ride (sit closer to the front for less bumps) was fine and they driver, Jovanni, stopped several places to make sure we took pictures of the jungle and the cool looking church thing in Higuey.

We got to the zipline place and stood around for a while waiting for other groups to arrive. They do a short fitting and then a quickie demo. Most zipline places let you practice on a small line, but here they do a quick demo and then off you go! The first 5 lines are very easy and fairly slow and low to the ground (2 stories high). My 77 year old mom - who has no mobility issues - found it easy enough. It wasn't the "adrenaline" rush because most of the lines are low and slow. Not a lot of the guides speak English so there isn't much interaction other than the people you are with.

That said, we've done a lof of zip lines. None seemed that fast and there was only one that had a "view". My mom tapped out after the 7th line because it was a little repetitive - the same lines, not higher, not faster. There is one tower that is pretty tall and takes a long time to walk up and so she just didn't want to do it anymore. She had a good enough time which is all that matters.

If you have NEVER ziplined, this is a nice "starter" outfit. We are used to bigger/faster lines. Why the 5 stars? They have some lovely views, they are extremely safety conscious, and frankly they are all very friendly.
Pictures are $10 each (and taken very early in the ziplines on line 2 so even if you tap out, you get a good picture).

Wear good shoes because the paths, when wet, are extremely slick and we saw a LOT of people falling down on them. The jungle scenery is very pretty. The animals (they have cats in the main area) are pretty nice. $5 for a locker. Bring tip money for the driver which is SEPARATE from the money for the ziplines guides. They have clean bathrooms and lovely picnic tables. You get some pineapple as a "treat" at the end (bring a tip for that too...). They give you a bottle of water but they sell icecream and soda at the concession there. $5 for a bag of chips though.

Would we do it again? No, we are used to more "extreme" adventure. BUt it was perfect for kids and senior citizens and those who have never tried to do it before. And for the pros, its still a pretty trip and a good FAMILY adventure. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are trying to do a "family" type trip!!
