Despite overcrowded boat this trip is worth to take. Just to see and try to understand what the communist regimes can do with countries and people and how hard it really is to get away from all bad this kind of state has brought. Butrint...More

Everything was very good!!! We very much enjoyed the tour of Butrint but it was a shame we did not have longer to look around the museum. The coffee break and lunch were in a lovely terrace restaurant. The buffet lunch was good.

I would say no as it is a full days trip. But could always ask to book an hotel in Sarande by your existing tour operator, could be more trouble than it's worth. My advice would be go for the day, it's a fab trip.

It involves a lot of walking around the site, very little shade and no where to sit. Do you really want to take a chance with your life?
