About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- barney5130 contributionsLovely viewsThe Lighthouse itself is nothing special but the views are super. We were lucky to be there with only 2 other people & it was very tranquil. We also hiked from Mykonos town up a very very steep hill to avoid the busy main road traffic. Quite tricky in places, but ok if you take your time & have sensible shoes, sun hat & water. Beware, there is one place where we took the left hand road (up another steep hill) rather than the right & we had to come back a little way as it led to some houses & no further! Coming back down to the New Port area was tricky as the hill was so steep. Take it slow, you don’t want to fall. We were able to catch the Seabus back to the Old Port which was a good idea after this hike. If you don’t mind a steep climb & hiking is your thing, then this is something for you. The views are worth it. Otherwise, hire a car or bike & visit that way or go on an organised tour. We were told the sunsets are lovely from here & I expect they certainly are.Written October 16, 2024
- lindajU7434PO0 contributionsMystical MykonosOur guide,Mary, was very knowledgeable about her island. We saw many things including a monastery, a family church and had a lovely meal at a local organic farm restaurant. Mykonos is very quirky-the streets are very narrow and there are no traffic lights on this island. Practically every family has their own church. For some reason, Lindsay Lohan owns a restaurant/bar on one of the beaches.Written September 3, 2024
- L9607FPrichardj0 contributionsUnique private tour of Mykonos by Jeep.Matthew was an amazing guide on our private tour. Very knowledgeable and showed us some hidden gems of the beautiful island. The highlight was lunch and wine at the private farm where we tasted the delicious home grown produce. Thank you.Written August 8, 2024
- kristen j0 contributionsDelos was very interesting, but I don't recommend the add-on farm dinner option.Delos is a great site & our guide was very knowledgeable. Museum was closed, without notice, but the guide sent us, which wasted our free exploring time. We added the local farm dinner option. It was okay, but there was no tour or talk about the farm or food. It was quite a way over there, so not worth the extra time & $$. Our drriver left wout telling us. We were worried, being dumped on other side of the island w o communication from tour co., but finally the farm staff got the tour company to send someone to get us.Written July 19, 2024
- Lenae L0 contributionsNot a private tourApparently this is not a private tour, even though all the pictures are with a Jeep, which could not hold more than 4-5 people. I cancelled and didn’t participate, but I don’t think I was wrong to assume it would be private. It doesn’t help that the tour operator that called didn’t seem straight forward/honest. And of course, I couldn’t get a refund or had to pay more for a private tour. Too bad and suspicious.Written June 27, 2024
- Culture355359471580 contributionsTo avoid absolutelyDo not waste your time with this activity. Although the guide was nice, we did not learn anything about the island of mykonos. It was mainly a tour of the instagram spot to take "beautiful" pictures. Expensive for the service.Written June 8, 2024
- V7507DWelizabeths0 contributionsGreat visit to Mykonos!Matthew was a total host and very informative to the history and culture of the island of Mykonos! Also quite thoughtful and considerate to the entire group!Written May 22, 2024
- Commenter-021340 contributionsA Lovely ExplorationThis is exactly what we wanted. We got away from the crowds of Old Port Mykonos to an organic farm, a number of excellent lookout/photo points along the West and South shores, and a close up of Ano Meara including the monastery there. Khrystina was an excellent, well-informed guide who allowed us to stop a little longer or a little less depending on what we wanted to do – excellent service. Highly recommend.Written May 12, 2024
- CinderTravels0 contributionsWorth the time!!What an interesting place to visit and so beautiful!! Worth a morning over there if not for the visit but the time on the water. We had a great guide that walked us around and helped us understand the layout and the culture that lived here.Written March 10, 2024
- Kel K0 contributionsDiscover Mykonos tour reviewExcellent value for money and a good 4 hours out visiting some of the beautiful island of Mykonos. Our tour guide was super friendly and informative giving us a history of the island and keeping us all engaged. Well worth it to see some parts of the island you may not otherwise get to see! And as with the rest of Mykonos…. So many friendly cats everywhere we went.Written October 24, 2023
- H I0 contributionsGreat little trip around the islandWe wanted to see a bit of the island and this was the perfect tour as my friend was not a lover of boats. We drove around the island and our informative tour guide told us information as we got to stop points like beaches and this little local village. We had a chance to see the monastery and also stopped off at a local church. Then finally we stopped at a farm for lunch and there was the best cat there for hugging! A lovely day out as only 4 hours leaving your the rest of the day.Written October 24, 2023

- alba4320 contributionsOne guide for 47 peopleA guide for 47 people. Bluetooth connection was often lost due to large distance from the guide. Delos tour should take care of a maximum number of people in a group. Paying 30 euro per person, we would have been better with a private guide. Delos maximised its profit with our tour= 47 people*30 Euro per 1.5 hour. Guide was strict with her time, though we started late due to large group and accommodating of bluetooth connection for everyone. Not worth it.Written October 19, 2023
- kimberlyaU6031YX0 contributionsAmazing tour of MykonosAbsolutely fabulous tour of Mykonos. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She tailored the tour to our liking. Lunch was the highlight of the tour. The food was amazing and the setting was beautiful. Book this tour! We had no idea when we booked that it would be a private tour.Written October 18, 2023

Had a 90 walk around and run down of the best bars, popped into a church, learnt a bit about a statue and a few other things.
Lacking dates historical detail, this was a walking tour for people that maybe don’t want to much info, in retrospect it was a waste of money. And having done a walking tour in most places around the world I’ve visited it’s just not a great standard.
The people were very lovely but that’s about the best I can say. The guide smelt bad and we got comments by passes by which was actually embarrassing.

However many times you see it... this island is always beautiful. And walking around every time you find glimpses you never knew before. You get there by sea, by land and by the airport; young people who find places for them are fine here, but here it is fine at any age. Do not miss the seven Venetian windmills of the 16th century, located on a small hill overlooking the harbor, but also the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, the Panagia Paraportiani (built between the 15th and 16th centuries) and the Maritime Museum of the Aegean. If Paradise Beach is the wildest beach in Mykonos, Psarou is certainly the chicest, always crowded, frequented by celebrities and celebrities and surrounded by luxury bars and restaurants.

If I could leave a 0 for this review I would. Don’t buy this tour. It’s a waste of money. The driver never showed up and when I tried calling the company nobody picked up the phone. We waited for 30 minutes and after many attempts of contacting the company we decided to get our cruise shuttle bus to town which thank God worked out perfectly. You can just walk from the new port to old town and do your own walking tour. I wish I knew that earlier so we wouldn’t waste our time and money with this company. After sending 2 messages through here somebody replied saying they were going to contact the driver but that was too late since we only had a few hours left in Mykonos before our cruise ship left. This company didn't even bother to contact us and let us know what was going on. Horrible service and very unprofessional. You guys have no respect for your costumers and if it wasn’t for our cruise line shuttle we would have been screwed. We ended up not having a lot of time to see everything in Mykonos because of the inconvenience you guys caused us and I’m very disappointed with trip advisor for letting this type of tour be part of their company.

I booked this for my son and I to get our bearings on our first day in Mykonos as I had read that all the winding alleyways mean you can get lost really easily. Our guide was an hour late but to be fair he did call the hotel the night before then called me on the day to update his arrival time.
I was worries that as I had booked 3 hours that now we would only get 2 hours and it would be rushed. Actually because it was just us three we covered quite a lot and it felt quite personal. Gilbert knew a lot about Mykonos and was happy to help us take pictures and give us options on what to see. He managed to get us into one of the Windmills was was just open on that day as they are not normally, plus a lift back !
The tours can have up to 40 people from cruise ships , so I think that is why they schedule it for 3 hours as we didn't feel that we missed out.
Worth doing on your first day, after that my son and I remembered some of the routes we took and navigated the rest of the week with ease.

I went on this walking tour of Mykonos today with my Mom and it was simply breath taking. It really gives you a greater understanding of the islands culture, background and history. Our tour guide Alexandra was just wonderful. She had a great personality and she was extremely knowledgeable and informative throughout the whole tour. Her English was perfect!!! We didn't feel rushed and we were given plenty of time to stop and take some photos along our way which was a great help. I would highly recommend you booking and partaking in this tour when visiting Mykonos. 10 out of 10. I'm so glad we did it!

we took the 4 hour walking tour of Mykonos. We saw the windmills, old town, new town and little Venice. Just nice to have a guide that can get you through the maze of streets, show you fun restaurants and take you to all the key sites. It was a lovely day and fantastic experience.

We took this tour the first day we arrived and were so pleased we did. Manthos (Mathias) was very informative and friendly. We learned a lot about the history of the village. It was great because when we returned on on own, we were familiar with the layout. Would definitely recommend.
