          Excellent excursion while in Lanzarote
This trip looked like it would allow us to see the key sights in Lanzarote so we decided to go for it. The communication from the start was great, receiving a WhatsApp message with the exact pick up time and a Google Earth screenshot of the exact pick up location. Vanessa the friendly guide who’s actually from Lanzarote let us all know in multiple languages including perfect English where we’d be going. We first went to the green cave and on this tour you get in to the cave an hour before the official opening time. While I really liked the cave, I have mobility issues and had I known the number of steps down into and around the cave I would have probably sat this one out. You go down to a depth of around 50m and there are a few sections where you need to bend over and walk to get through. The aqua cave wasn’t as deep nor as sinuous as the green cave but again there were a lot of stairs. Neither cave is the type that you walk into from a beach or similar. You descend into them from ground level. The rest of the tour was pretty much stair free and there was no pressure at all to take lunch at the single lunch stop, nor to ride a camel. At Timanfaya national park it was really busy at the visitor centre but with Vanessa in the lead we didn’t have to wait to see anything. Manolo’s bus driving up and around the tight and twisty mountain roads was also excellent. Vanessa was really clear at each stop how much time we had and she was great at rounding up the few stragglers at each stop. You can securely leave your bag on the bus at each stop as the doors were locked and Manolo was standing by the door so you don’t have to lug your belongings around with you. All in all we felt we saw almost everything there is to see on the island. We took off a star from the rating just for the accessibility of the caves which is purely a personal thing for us and isn’t a reflection on the tour itself. It was a busy day, picked up at our hotel in Costa Teguise at just after 8:30am and we were dropped off at the hotel at 6:15pm, but it was a good trip. Thanks Vanessa and Manolo!

A must for Lanzarote as a solo traveller
Definitely worth it for the price and experience. Lara was an excellent host; consistent with information and considerate of people who speak different languages. Our group was able to move freely at the different destinations. I was confident exploring at my leisure as a solo traveller within the schedule, which was the perfect amount of time for each point.

          Well worth the money
The communication before the trip was excellent - we knew exactly where we would be picked up and by what bus as we received photos of the bus stop and the bus. We saw so much and the scenery was stunning, in addition, our guide was extremely knowledgeable. We felt that given everything we were taken to, this was very good value for money. The lunch was not great for veggies but at $12 a head we were not expecting gourmet.

          Superb trip
Excellent value for money. Our expert driver took us round the island very comfortably (especially through the stunning national park) and our guide was very informative. The whole experience and communication from the company was excellent. Highly recommend to experience the spectacular attractions of Lanzarote.

          Best highlight tour
This was our first excursion of our holiday and an absolutely amazing day despite the rain it was very warm. Vanessa and Sebastian were a brilliant team who explained everything about the different highlights in great details. The camel ride was a lovely addition taking you around a small area not available by foot and gift shops along the way were very cheap also. The views were so good and Vanessa was very funny. Definitely a must do for those who like to explore

          Stunning trip to worldly treasures!
Very full trip, taking in all the main attractions of the Island. I have been before on two trips but wanted to take my teenage kids this time. We covered all I had seen the previous two and more on top. The buffet lunch is well worth having very good local cuisine and more nuggets and chips also. Great camel ride not to be missed! Nice friendly guide was the icing on the cake.

Booking this trip was the best decision we made when planning our holiday in Lanzarote. Lanzaroteguides provided us with so much information in advance and even sent photos to help us find our pickup point. The guide was incredibly informative and friendly. All of the locations we visited were well picked and the individual entry prices we would have otherwise paid showed us the excellent price of this trip in terms of value for money. The tour enabled us to see so many parts of the island and we would definitely recommend to anyone who goes to Lanzarote. Also, for those wondering about the optional buffet at the restaurant the tour stops at, there was a very good range of food. We are both vegetarian and for vegetarians (and also vegans) there is good choice.

We took a taxi and our taxi waited for us - we were charged an additional €15 an hour. The traffic queues up the mountain were horrendously busy but as we were a local taxi we were allowed to bypass the queues of cars and go straight to the top… worth paying/ taking the taxi. Beware though, some taxis will not wait then you can get stuck at the top. There are no taxis ranks up there and no phone to call a cab, the restaurant didn’t even know any numbers for a cab so don’t get stuck there. You then get on a coach and taken around the park right up to the top of the volcano- takes about 80 minutes - definitely a trip worth doing. There is also a restaurant and loos so you can make a day of it.

This Tour was the highlight of our trip to the Island.. without a doubt. Yes, a very early start but worth every second. If you get Andrea as your tour guide you have hit the jackpot. Her knowledge was very comprehensive and very well timed and delivered. We started our tour at the Green Caves which go roughly 150 meters underground (mind your head) and the whole history and explanation of their origin were explained in great detail... no spoilers ;) Then we went up to the viewpoint in the clouds, the breeze was welcome. further on to a winery.. the best I have ever had where the methods of the winemaking was interesting. Then you see the Timanfaya National Park with a restaurant above a magma chamber.. with some live experiments.. great for kids. Later there is an option for a Camel ride or a museum then further on to the green lagoon. There is so much to learn and see on this trip, It was like being on Mars. The added bonus is you get to queue jump, the green caves for example open at 10 am (we were there a bit earlier), and when we came out the queue was backed up the road! There are lunch and toilet stops along the route. The bus was nice and cool, The driver started the aircon ten minutes before we got back on at each stop and his driving skills he has are superb, you will see why when you get to the Volcanoes and Lava fields. You get dropped off at your pick-up point which you will be informed of on booking, usually not too far from your hotel. This trip is definitely recommended. It's a history lesson. A day trip back in time (no more spoilers)

We had a good laugh reading your comment! Thank you for not revealing the important spoilers, such as the "secret" of the Cueva de los Verdes. A sercret that only those of us who have entered know and that before leaving we promise not to reveal hahaha! Thank you very much for choosing us to get to know the unique Lanzarote and for your recommendation.

The lava tunnels and the caves were cool and interesting. Just avoid the lunch stop and the camel ride. Regardless if it's repeated that the camels are looked after etc etc it's animal abuse using them as a tourist attraction. They were clearly restless and did not want to be there tied to the next camel by the mouth and the handlers threatened to hit them in the face if they tried to stand up or move. The restaurant stop for lunch was not good at all, we were herded in like cattle and barked at to sit at particular tables (the restaurant was empty) with other people from the tour so you cannot sit with only who are with on the tour. It was very uncomfortable and it didn't make sense that we were made to sit with other people from the tour but then we had to wear masks on the coach?? Tour guide was very informative though and mostly the tour was good

Thank you for your helpful feedback. We are glad that you liked what was included in the tour. The two things you mention as negative were not included in the tour and were optional: The camel ride: It is not included in the price of our excursion, because we respect both those who like to take a ride on camels and those who do not like it (we understand that no personal opinion is better, nor is it above that of others). We give the option to do the ride because as you could see 99% of the participants of the excursion think differently than you and want to do the camel ride (this does not mean that one opinion is better than the other, just that this is the way the majority thinks). Food: It is not included in our tour, it is simply where the guide and driver eat. At this stop we give free time. Most clients choose to eat there because it is a buffet with drinks included and costs 10€. (For that price we understand that it is a basic meal, better for many than a sandwich and a soft drink which is already worth that price). Other customers decide to go for a walk, while others have a simple coffee or sandwich in the village.

Really interesting tour with lots included. It is a very long day though if you’re planning on taking any little children. You start at the caves where you walk through and there’s a secret surprise bit that was cool. Then to a lagoon for a short stop. There’s a buffet lunch if you want it which is only €10, it’s worth the money with water and wine included. You go up a mountain to take pictures of the panoramic view of the island. There’s a wine tasting stop and you get to see how they grow the grapes without any rain. The tour around timanfaya is interesting too with a short stop to see some geothermic activity and take some pictures. There’s also a green lake stop right at the end which is a short walk up a hill. There are lots of stops with enough time at each to take some pictures. If you’re scared of heights the tour of the volcanoes may not be for you, the bus is very close to the cliff edges and on very windy roads but the views are great. There’s an optional 20 minute camel ride (it’s bumpier than you imagine!) which I wouldn’t do again. The camels only walk every other day and for no more than 5 hours a day but I still didn’t really like the thought of it. The workers take a photo on your phone of you on the camel so you don’t have to pay for it. Andrea the host was lovely too.

The tour guide was extremely helpful when the coach arrived she came straight over to me and checked my details. she was helpful and reasuring and full of interesting information. The coach trips between our deatinations was seemless and easy and both driver and guide did a head count on each part ensuring everyone was accounted for.
As for the sights/attractions wow amazing from start to finish. So many beautiful locations. We were able to participate in a camal ride if desired. The camal excursions however require two participants as it needs one either side. Again she ensured that the solo travellers on my coach all got paired in order to take part in this activity. I would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Lanzarote.

For anyone thinking of booking a tour whilst in Lanzarote this is the tour to do! It was fantastic from start to finish and Well organised with a very knowledgeable tour guide who was so lovely. The places you visit on this tour are truly breathtakit came and has made us fall in love with this island. The buffet lunch was amazing value for money with something for everyone. The coach was well air-conditioned which was need as it was 32° , however I would advise taking plenty of drink. While thinking of what to write for this review I was trying to think of all the positives and any negatives, I can genuinely say that there were no negatives to this. It was amazing value for money and the photos do not do it justice it really is breathtaking. Do not hesitate book this trip now!

Loved the views. It’s a must but maybe with another provider - we had LanzaroteGuides. We had a mixture of Spanish and English speakers in the group. The guide was actively engaging with Spanish speakers. I appreciate we are in Spain, but that’s why we wanted a guided tour. Information provided was limited, at some point us and another group members had to stop the guide and ask her to repeat this in English. Not mentioning that most of communication was done in Spanish, and we were approached in Spanish (for example time to return to the bus and all this little things).

They offer a lunch stop at the “restaurant”, which felt like a school canteen. You are seated with strangers, although there were plenty of tables available. Cannot comment on food, but customer service was poor. So if you are as picky as us, take your own snacks as there is not time to eat and no facility to buy elsewhere.

The timing of the tour was different to the schedule, felt very rushed.

I would like to highlight how amazing David (the driver) was. Very welcoming and friendly, very careful driver. My wife had a fall, he promptly assisted with a first aid kit when we approached him, we are very grateful.

Overall, great experience, fantastic views and photos to take home. The downside was the guide and lunch stop for us. Do not say it’s an English tour if you are unwilling to accommodate it appropriately.

Thank you for your opinion that will help us improve and for the good comments towards our driver. Note that food is not on the tour, our guide and driver make a stop to eat and enter a buffet with food for workers that costs €10 with drinks. Some customers decide to eat there because they understand that if they buy a sandwich and a soft drink anywhere, they will get more or less the same price, but no one is obliged to eat there, nor do we have anything to do with the food.

Honestly, hands down the best guided tour I've experienced in Europe. I normallt don't do reviews but I sincerely believe this tour deserves one. Firstly, the places we went are very scenic and given it was a full day tour, it was very well worth the price. I felt like this 1 day tour accomplished primarily everything that is in Lazaronte and I am fully marvelled at the beauty and for the bus driver for astutely navigating the narrow roads at the Timafaya national park. I really loved our guide, Nazaret for speaking very good English and being very helpful and understanding. I've been on tours where the guide gets angry when we arrive late or take our time but she always had a smile on her face and told us nicely with a smile to board the bus as everyone is there waiting for us. She personally checked in with everyone on the tour, especially the older people, asking if they are okay with the walking. I didn't even feel rushed throughout and her command and comprehension of English is so good that she understood our questions instantly and gave us a concrete explaination. Little did I expect such a great guide in a tiny island like Lazaronte, which by far exceeds any English guide I've had even in mainland Spain or Europe for that matter.

There was adequate time at all the stops, and I feel the stops were well structured, and even had pick up and drop off near our hotel. The buffet lunch of 10 euro per person is so worth it as they even have free water and ice cream(had red wine too). I felt contented to have seen the highlights of Lazaronte in just 1 day. Totally recommend this company and my guide Nazaret. Thanks Lazaronte for being an amazing place, really enjoyed every bit of it. If you're considering coming to just 1 canary island, in my opinion this is it.

Just 1 thing, given the slopes and rocky roads in Tamafaya national park, expect a bit of motion sickness if you are prone like me. But otherwise very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Our driver and tour guide were fantastic. Loved Jameos del Agua. Could have easily spent another hour or two there. Only dropped 1 star as the lunch was poor, felt rushed and crammed into a small space in the otherwise empty restaurant. I appreciate this is optional but given that we visited so many other places with great food offered I can’t understand why this is selected as our lunch stop. The wine tasting was also disappointing and we felt herded through the wine shop with no choice of wine to be tried which is a missed opportunity for the bodega. Would have preferred to eat and drink there and spent a little longer discover their offerings.

The kids loved the camel tour though and the trip through the volcanic landscape was incredible. It was easy to hear the passion from our tour guide as she spoke of Lanzarote’s unique location.
