We booked on the trip as we wanted to see more about the Camargue nature and as we were having to travel almost 2 hours from out accommodation we wanted to book with a tour which was more organised than others we could find on the web. Reassuringly, the organisation from that point was good with only a 10 minute change to the departure time which was notified by text. On arrival it was obvious that it was a bigger organised trip as around 8 land rovers were on the mornings excursion. We were allocated to an English speaking guide and there was a very nice Swiss family with us in our 4x4. The tour was a more general familiarisation with the area including the flamingoes, bulls and wild horses and some of the history of the area including the unique vine production.. The wine tasting and food was also really enjoyable without any sales pressure. It was a great familiarisation trip and we’ll done to Romane, out tour guide who was first class at making it fun and informative.

We'd tried to find Camargue Bulls and Horses on our own with little success and this trip filled the gap. Neither the promised breakfast or use of binoculars appeared. However the trip with the English speaking driver was very informative. Be prepared for a bumpy ride and take some insect repellent

We enjoyed the safari but given we asked for an English tour guide we were pretty disappointed that the person we got did not have great English therefore the we missed a lot as both adults and kids did not fully understand what was being explained and on ocasiona the tour guide couldn’t explain it either.
Not the tour guides fault at all but better planning on behalf of the organising company.
There wines tasting was lovely.

Booked the 4x4 safari to get up closer to the animals and educate ourselves a bit on the area. Very interesting tour. Lea, our guide was fantastic and spoke beautiful fluent English and was full of local knowledge.
The stop off for wine and food tasting was fun and interesting.
The car was comfortable enough but there were only 3 of us so we have space to stretch out. You do go across rough terrain so it will be bumpy in parts.
We did think we would get a little closer to the animals but the bulls were napping in the field when we arrived, can't have it all.
Very interesting tour, very passionate tour guide - would thoroughly recommend.
Thank you Lea.

Hello,
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment, our guides try their best to please everyone in the car. Sometimes there is both French and English speaking persons in the car so they have to work around that to offer the best experience to everyone.
We hope you will keep a good memory of our region.
Best regards.

This was fascinating and so fun to get out of the city and to see the real countryside.
Matheiu picked us up in the jeep and together with the lovely Yorkshire family, off we went. Matheiu is a phenomenal birder and pointed out all kinds of birds. We saw bulls and the white horses, fields of sunflowers and grains, a huge pink salt lake and mounds of salt, a beautiful castle, fortress and bridge, all HUNDREDS of years old. We stopped at a lovely vineyard and sampled their 5 wines and stocked up on local rice, salt, honey and of course wine! We really enjoyed our afternoon with Matheiu, he is super smart, well traveled and has excellent English.
