Do Not Use Viator/Batu Caves Trip
This was supposed to be a guided trip offering a unique experience in Kuala Lumpur. It was a complete rip-off. We paid $158 for a trip that was worth $20. We contacted Viator for a refund and was refused. There was NO guide, NO entance fees, the lunch cost pennies (see photo), and we ended the day in a shop selling pewter and Batik. This was NOT a tour it was being driven around very cheaply by a driver who is paid $300 a month. It was NOT worth the money. Viator are NOT a tour operator to be trusted . I would never book anything again. I would not recommend them to anyone

Very enjoyable trip, left to explore as long as we wanted at the Batu Caves, hot springs were Hot, Waterfall refreshing and the meal afterwards was more than we expected. Wonderful day out.

          Interesting and informative
This was a really good trip. The experiences were amazing. The hot springs were VERY hot, mostly too hot for me to get in. My partner wasn’t planning to try anyway! I loved the waterfalls and the pools below them. On a very hot day, to dip into those pools was really refreshing. There are changing rooms, basic but private. The reason this is only 4 stars instead if 5 is because we felt instead of one hour spent here, it could easily have been two. It was a bit of a rush. The Batu caves were huge and fabulous, a cavern rather than a cave. The 200 odd steps were in sets if 17 with a platform, where you could collect your breath and watch the antics if the monkeys. Then, up some more steps to another area, open to the sky. There were two Hindu temples in there and a separate shrine. A full hour was spent there. Then we went to a local ‘caff’ for lunch. It really couldn’t be described as a restaurant. We had traditional food served on a banana leaf. No idea what it all was, but it was spicy and fine. The visit to the batik factory didn’t do much for me - the usual ploy to get us to part with money. However, the guided tour of the pewter factor was interesting. Our guide was called something like Kermit. I’m afraid I can’t quite remember. He was chatty and interesting. All in all, it was an informative and interesting day with lots if experiences. We would recommend this trip and feel it was good value.

The tour guide was great but no English. This was not his fault he was given a job and he did his job good. When it says English tour guide we expected some small conversation had non.

I recommend this tour to everyone who visits Malaysia
This is an excellent tour with people who are excited to show off their country and culture. Transport, food and water was organised for us which allowed us to have a great time without thinking about logistics. Our guide was super friendly and the local knowledge he had made the day so enjoyable as he showed us spots away from the big tourist hubs. I would recommend this tour to anyone who travels to Kuala Lumpur!

          Local culture
We saw the sights of Kuala Lumpur with a very knowledgeable driver, Laurence, who was happy to tell us all about the sights as well as the local culture. The highlight for us was the local lunch experience of eating food off a banana leaf using our hands with the welcome help of Laurence's instructions and explanations.

          Bath Caves
We were very disappointed with the presentation of the Batu Caves. Once we climbed to the top there was rubbish everywhere. Some pride in a tourist attraction wouldn’t go a stray. Monkeys everywhere, be aware they don’t attack you.

We had a fantastic day out. Just the 2 of us with our lovely driver/guide Sankaran. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Took photos for us and we had a great local lunch. Best indian food 😋

          Interesting day
The batu caves were really interesting and the final waterfall was very pretty however the hot springs were not really our thing and to be honest the guide was more of a taxi driver than a guide as he didnt really share any information with us.

Don’t forget nothing in the car or they will charged a lot to send it to you
Be careful with this company. The guide was ok, but don’t forget nothing in the car because they will charge you a lot. For bring a baby carrier to the hotel that I forgot, and after answering for second time, because the first time told me that nothing was in the car, the driver who bring it charged me 50 ringgit (10€). I wouldn’t recommend them.

          Informative and educational tour
Extremely enjoyable experience. From the hot springs and its health benefits, to scaling the many waterfalls and avoiding the cheeky monkeys. Accomplishing the climb of the Batu Caves (very picturesque) to an authentic Malaysian -Indian lunch. Finished by very informative tours of a local Batik factory to the making of all things Pewter. Would be 5 stars, but would’ve liked more time at the waterfalls. Guide/driver was very chilled and easy going.

          Batu caves Malaysia
Hindu God idols in natural caves. Believed to be very old. Awesome place to visit once in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Nice maintenance but with lots of mosquito would recommend taking some mosquito repellent.

Day trip to the colourful corners of KL
Must comment firstly on the excellent service. We had to change the date of our tour two days beforehand and Travel Yamu Experience made it easy for us. Very appreciative of the quick response. Communication for pick up by the driver was excellent and he arrived relatively on time. Pick up from hotel available. Ended up having a private tour with my aunt and I. Whilst she has lived in KL for over 20 years, she still enjoyed herself and had not visited most of the stops. Only critic is the stop at the hot springs.. which served purely as an eye opener to the lifestyle of some of the locals.. only one hot spring is available for soaking feet and it was full of of old men when we visited. Probably do not have to spend much time at this stop. However, we were able to alter the times we spent at a stop according to our preferences. Overall an excellent introduction to many of the tourist attractions in KL and a must see for travellers who have not experienced batik, pewter manufacturing, and batu caves.
