A spectacular view of the Apuan Alps and a breathtaking tour. The tour includes a guided tour with a 4x4 Jeep of open pit quarries, to observe the modern machinery used today for excavation and learn the methods of extraction, but above all to relive the history of the white blocks of the most famous marble in the world. After the quarry tour, you can visit the village of Colonnata, where you can taste and buy local products in the shops that animate the small village. The tour includes a visit to an ancient Larderia with illustrations of production and storage techniques in typical marble basins. In the afternoon, we will head to Pietrasanta, the world center of artistic marble processing, but also of other artistic products, such as mosaic and metal sculptures. We will visit some art workshops and experience the thrill of witnessing the live realization of the works. The tour will continue to discover the historic center of Pietrasanta.

Amazing private cooking class and wine tour Tuscany
Serena arranged an amazing private cooking class at a winery in Tuscany for our family. It was such a beautiful location in San Miniato. A mansion and winery with amazing views across the country side. Was exactly what we had dreamed of!

Excellent tour - Serena was excellent and knowledgeable company. The 2 wineries we visited were very different but both provided a great experience and lovely wine with a great lunch at the 2nd winery. Strongly recommend this tour with Serena

    Cinque Terre with Serena
We enjoyed a day with Serena touring the Cinque Terre National Park. If we had tried to do this tour on our own, it would have been Single Terre. She deftly move us through the throngs of tourists to the paths less traveled and through a series of train rides and boat taxis we were able to visit and learn about the three primary cities worth visiting capping the day off with lunch in the tower of a ancient stone structure on the coast. Serena is very passionate about Italy and its history and the day was a wonderful learning experience for us.

An unforgettable day exploring Garfagnana with Serena!
We had an amazing day with an amazing person! Serena was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and willing to help with our other vacation plans. She went above and beyond and introduced us to some amazing people. Her friend , Andre, from the Salumeria is a treasure in itself.

    The Best Of Tuscany
After a grueling cruise of Italy and the Greek Isles where you felt like herded cattle, I was looking for some personal custom tours. I happened upon Serena’s website and with one days notice she put together a wonderful day trip to Carrera. We could not have been more pleased. She understands what you need, paces the tours as you need them and is truely an expert on the area. I felt like I was her long lost relative that was coming back home. It was a highlight of our 3 week trip. I only wish, I found her sooner.

Serena, our beautiful guide was a most gracious and talented lady. She provided much information about our tour and much history than we had imagined. She was always punctual, energetic and her knowledge of the Tuscan area was amazing. I would most definitely recommend her to any traveler wishing to visit Tuscany and its surrounds. Thank you Serena from Connie, Teresa, Nina and Natalie. I hope to see you again one day.

Magical Day in Cinque Terra thanks to Serena!
I am not sure where to begin in my review of Serena and Wishversilia, as I am still glowing from our magical day together touring the Cinque Terra. I have used tour guides all over the world and Serena is high on my list of all time favorites. She is a superb planner and finds ways to customize the itinerary to meet your group’s every needs. My 22-year-old daughter and I wanted to hike the trails between the town in Cinque Terra, and Serena asked clever questions about our levels of fitness. My daughter is very fit as am I, but having had recent knee surgery I was a bit apprehensive about doing too much rigorous climbing. She designed the perfect mix of challenging hiking, a boat excursion and more hiking to break it up and meet our different needs. What made the day extra special was her attention to detail and flexibility. In one town, Serena arranged for us to have lunch at a lovely Rex with a charming waiter named Andrea, in the best seat in the house; a lovely spot overlooking the cliffs. When we wanted to shop a bit in towns, she graciously waited and reminded us that “this is your day; we will adjust to make it how you wish.” She told us just what to pack, suggested a change of clothes and explained what other fees we could expect, so there were no surprises. She’s extremely knowledgeable and shares interesting facts, but also is intuitive enough to realize when you are tired and want to rest in silence at the end of a long day. She strikes just the right balance between local expert, guide and travel companion. Having her plan the day made it efficient and stress free. The program is completely worth her fees; in fact, I don’t think she charges enough for all she does for you. It’s a bargain for this level of service! Lastly, her warm demeanor is infectious and by the end of the day, we felt we had a new friend! I will recommend her to all my friends and family who are coming to the region and only wish I’d booked her in advance for another day! Call her now!! You will be so glad you did. Ci vediamo presto, carina Serena.❤️

    Exceptional Tour Guide
Serena is kind, attentive, & knowledgeable of all things Tuscany. We were honored to have her as our guide in Cinque Terre, she was informative & helped us through the maze of the five towns. Took a brief boat ride with exceptional views. Visited a winery, & experienced the history of the land. Can’t wait to see her again when we return.

    Fabulous Truffle Hunting
Serena gave us the most memorable day of our 10 days in Italy (all of which was wonderful.) She met us in Lucca and took us to a gorgeous spot in the countryside where we were met by a truffle hunter and his amazing dog, Gina. Not only did we get to walk through gorgeous land, we got to see a skilled duo find treasured truffles. Afterwards the hunt, we had a several course truffled-themed dinner with lovely local wine. She is a delightful person who loves her part of the world and is extremely knowledgeable about its history, culture and of course, food.

A Wonderful Day in the Cinque Terre
Serena is, without any doubt, the best kind of guide to this magical land. She is efficient in planning, flexible and always willing to meet her client's needs and interests, knowledgeable about the area and its history, and charming to all. Our day would not have been as enjoyable or as informative without her guidance. From the first meeting in La Spezia, it was clear that we would have an extraordinary experience. Some of our group was unable to hike great distances due to recent medical issues, and Serena was able to modify the tour to accommodate such limitations without compromising the quality. We highly endorse her as one the the best guides we have retained.

    An amazing Cinque Terre experience!
Seeing the Cinque Terre with Serena was perhaps the best decision we made on our trip to Liguria. Serena removed all of the stress of seeing these towns, and gave us unique experiences that we would not have been able to do, or known to do, on our own. We came away enriched, we learned a lot about the Cinque Terre, and we saw some unforgettable scenery and sights. Thank you, Serena and Wishversilia, for the perfect Cinque Terre experience!
