This trip to Catalina was the highlight of our trip. So fun and entertaining and well worth the money. Frank our guide was very genuine and took very good care of us the boats dancing was amazing!!!

The stay was awesome 👌, we enjoyed every single minute, it was so calm and relaxing, definitely a must do. Reynaldo is so nice and professional, he was always so helpful and cheerful!

The catamaran tour was so fun! The water was pristine, the food was delicious, drinks were flowing all day, and the operators were wonderful. Thank you so much to our rep Pedro for the recommendation, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed greatly!

Henry Polanco was very friendly and accommodating. He was patient and gave us recommendations for the excursions without putting pressure on me. If you are looking for a fun time out while on your resort, I recommend you visit the Nexus Tours office for help!

I only say 1 star because we actually did not use this company. Our travel agent was to have informed them that on our recent trip to La Romana, Dominican Republic that we were using private transfer to and from our hotel. Therefore, we were quite surprised when 2 days before returning home, we got an e-mail from Nexus. I did not actually have any idea who they were, but when they sent a 2nd email that referenced our flight date and flight #, it occurred to me that perhaps the message that we were not in need of their pickup had not been received by them. I replied and said we had private transfer booked, they responded to confirm that they did not have to pick us up, and I assumed that was the end of it. Since then, I have had 2 requests asking for reviews on how they did. Can't say anything else - don't know where the breakdown in communication happened, but can't review this company.

Had a fantastic time. We did the zip line had lunch at mama Marie's, visited monkey land, a quick review of how organic cocoa and coffee are grown and produced. Then finished off the day with dune buggy ride in the jungle with Jonny Tequila.

Very helpful at Nexus. Jose was willing to help us out at any time and we did not have to wait long for service. Enjoyed our stay once again

We did three different excursions: 1) The first one we did was the ‘Salto El Limon & Cayo Levantado’. We road horses to a beautiful waterfall and took a catamaran to the famous Bacardi Island with unexpected extremely warm water on a silky soft white sand beach. Unfortunately with the heavy October rains, the river and the waterfall was not crystal clear but a muddy brown color… but it was still beautiful nonetheless. 2) The second one was a triple excursion with Zip Lines, Monkey Land and Jungle Buggies. 12 zip lines of varying lengths with the longest one at 800 meters. There were incredible views including going over rivers. Monkey land was phenomenal with squirrel monkeys that you can feed and the climb all over you. There were over 90 in the sanctuary with multiple babies to see. And the jungles buggies were fun to drive but you definitely got muddy from the heavy rains that occurred all week. 3) The last one was visiting the Marinarium. We snorkeled with nurse sharks and sting rays. They are fantastic creatures. The first enclosure was the best with multiple of each swimming about. I just wish they were not contained in a ‘marine park’ but rather viewed out in their natural habitat as I had experienced while I was in Belize.

Immense fun but you will get filthy. Literally this is probably the second best trip we have ever done on a holiday beaten only by a trip into the jungle to see sloths in Costa Rica. You will get very very muddy. The ponds across the track that you drive through are deeper than the wheels and the water just crashes into the footwells and stains through holes in the floor. The vehicles are purpose built, quite challenging to steer and a bit ropey but seem totally safe, fit for purpose and immense fun. Normally a petrol head and demon for speed, these buggies don't have a high top speed and you all drive in line. But none of that matters one you start. It is just crazy fun and bonkers. You could never do this in the UKdespite it being very well organised and safe. The buggies all have roll cages and there seem to be plenty of staff around to swap you out for another vehicle should you have problems. Which we didn't. Main advice is take nothing with you except swimmers and a towel and pref a waterproof bag. We over planned and now have lots of serious washing to do plus probably two pairs of ruined trainers. But none of this matters. It was such immense fun
