- BijalJ0 contributionsInteresting visit, different fruits! We went to visit the tropical fruit farm as part of a day trip we organised with a tour driver. Originally we stopped at the Penang Hill temple and someone told us it is not worth visiting as it's not durian season and I'm so glad we did not listen! The tropical fruit farm is beautiful in itself and we had a very knowledgeable guide take us around and let us try fruits which were in season and many we had not heard of or tried before! We also got to try a different bee honey straight from the tree and sample enzymes drink they make onsite from the fruits they harvest. We finished the tour with a fruit platter. As we were short on time we also had a quick lunch there which was good. Overall we enjoyed the visit and thought the entry fee for it was reasonable. Note; make sure you are wearing mosquito repellent as there were alot around.Written April 29, 2024
- paullsoucy0 contributionsPhilip made a custom tour better than advertised. We have been a world cruise for 3 months and this was on of our top tours of many. Our guide, Philip was fantastic. He was a local who loved his city, and was proud to show it off. Once we told him my wife loves street art and photography, he went out of his way to show us examples through the city including many “off the beaten path “ alleys with great art. Because we were on a private tour and my wife and I tend to move at fast pace, we were able to visit more sites than were included in the standard tour. Philip made it a perfect day!Written March 20, 2024
- MrP78_110 contributionsA little overpriced but worth visitingAn interesting experience for overseas tourists Highlights * Very picturesque * Tour was interesting and not too long. This is not a commercial farm, more for tourists. * I saw fruit I've never seen before * Tasty and unusual fruit platter and enzyme drinks as part of entry cost * Restaurant views were lovely and food ordered was delicious and well priced Improvements * Compared to other Penang experiences, this seemed overpriced (55 Ringits per person compared to 30 for Penang Hill Funicular return and around 75 for Entopia- both being much longer experiences.Written March 10, 2024
- Family_Surrey0 contributionsA great reliable tour companyWe had 4 tours with our guide Phillip, he was punctual, helpful and friendly. Being born and bred in Penang he was a font of all knowledge and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. The car was clean, comfortable and he was a very safe driver. Communication with him was good via WhatsAPP and very good with the company. The company was flexible and reliable and delivered to expectations. We went on the Penang Hill tour, the round Penang Island tour and the Georgetown heritage and street art tours. All were great and very flexible. I would recommend the company and Phillip to all wanting to explore Penang.Written March 10, 2024
- toddshulman7070 contributionsGreat Way to See the Highlights of GeorgetownOur guide took us A BUNCH of murals in Georgetown, including a few that were way off the beaten path. It helped having a car to drive between murals; the guide would let us out to walk the immediate area, then pick us up for the next stop. The lunch at the local food market was great; the guide took the time to explain all the stalls/their food to us, then ordered food and drinks. The time allotted for this tour was perfect.Written November 7, 2023
- tingdiver0 contributionsAll the highlights of Penang in one-go!Very good tour made especially extraordinary by our guide and driver, Philip, who was knowledgeable, attentive and professional. His passion for Penang and genuine enjoyment of tour guiding really made this a great experience. As first timers in Penang, this tour gave us all the highlights in one go: art, culture, history and food! We were lucky to have the car to ourselves as no one else booked the tour that day (extremely lucky for us given it was the weekend) so it was convenient to have a place to leave our things. The tour ended with a trip to the Penang White Coffee shop outside Georgetown which, while nice as it offered an opportunity to see more of the city and sample some unusually flavoured coffees from the area (w/ no obligation to buy... wink-wink), you can do without it. Overall a good experience I highly recommend for families or those with elderly... or for super hot/rainy days when walking just won't be appealing!Written September 23, 2023
- malart20180 contributionsHenna PaintingThe wall paintings were run down. Chanced upon a Henna scammer who overcharged 75 RM for a design that lasted only a few days. Beware of the Indian lady who is doing Henna painting. She uses inferior paste that does not last and charges exorbitantly.Written September 10, 2023

- 519charltonw0 contributionsGreat experience better for groupsPhillip was an amazing guide, very accommodating, very knowledgeable and wisdom. The fruit farm can be prone to power outages so be aware of that as this may mean that you could miss out on the free fruit shake.Written March 26, 2023
