Rohit was great but did not grow up in Puducherry so on one hand provided some good context but on the other hand was not a local. He spoke French (impressive) and we did some of the markets, Good way to walk the city.

Guide was clueless. It was terrible and ended in 40minutes . It was a complete waste of time and money. There was no set route or plan and guide seemed extremely disinterested. We had to literally dig information by asking questions to salvage our time

Pondicherry is a place where I would like to settle permanently in future. Have been there many times. Highly recommend going there.

A small tourist destination. Auroville was most interesting. The colonial history seems to be everywhere. The sunday market at MG road , excellent bargains.

The walking tour that we all looked forward to did not go well. The guide Neerajkumar was helpful and pleasant and even adjusted his time to accommodate us. But he did not know anything about Pondicherry and the sites. The history or significance of the place.

We did an amazing exploration of Auroville during the recent long weekend. My wife's cousin who lives in Auroville showed us some rare and unique parts of Auroville. We did a couple of treks in the Aurolville forests (revelation farm) and did couple of farm tours (Sadhana forest and Solitude farm). Of-course we being vegans, we got the opportunity to indulge in vegan delicacies at Naturellement, Neem Tree, Sustenance farm and other places. Overall, we all had a wonderful time

Unfortunately we did not go on the tour, the guide didn’t turn up. We messaged and called the tour operator, but no response. Throughly disappointed and a total waste of time. On the plus side Trip Advisor were quick to respond and confirmed we will have a full refund.
