The views were amazing, the house is beautiful and has everything and very clean I loved it this place….I can’t wait to come back soon… I highly recommend Jojo is amazing person inside and outside…. This retreat was a safe and loving environment, and I left with amazing new friends and I am still filled with gratitude. As far as the area - the beauty of the beaches and welcoming vibes make me want to go back!

I don't even know how to put into words how wonderful this retreat was - yoga, breathwork, eye gazing, shamanic journeys, meditation, journaling, learning about feminine archetypes and energetics, yoni eggs, aguahara, and AMAZING vegan food. Jojo and Sandii were such heart centered and supportive facilitators in this beautiful retreat. I wouldn't describe the retreat house as luxury but it was perfect for the price :)

A fantastic intense women’s retreat. Small group which I loved. Not only learned so much but participated in experiences I have not had before (I have been on many retreats). For example, dragon chatki breathing ritual, hydra aqua sessions. Jojo (and Sandy) were the leaders and had so much wisdom to share. If you go be prepared to jump right in and open up because they don’t start out slowly. Of course you don’t have to participate in everything but I encourage you too! Some of the sessions were in the water which is one of the reasons I chose this retreat. Loved them!! The lodging worked out well, although the pool was not clean ( we used the pool next door for sessions) food was made with love and delicious . Highly recommend if you are comfortable with something new and don’t need fancy lodging. April was very hot and dry but most tourists have left so staying a few days after in close by towns was a quiet great idea.

What a wonderful week of peace and mindfulness! Every meal was cooked by an amazing private chef, all vegetarian and full of whole, colorful foods. Every day was a new amazing activity, from learning about our cycles, connecting with other women, water therapy, and some very beautiful rituals. I highly highly recommend you take a retreat with JoJo, she's amazing!

I had never done a women's retreat before and this surpassed my expectations. JoJo is such a skilled facilitator of this work and a master at cultivating spaces where strangers can share in the experience of honoring the inner goddess. From the location, to the food, to the music, to every single activity we did, it was thoughtfully chosen and enhanced the experience exponentially. Magical, profound, and life-changing are just a few words that come to mind when I think of my time at the retreat in Puerto Angel. I have traveled a lot in my 39 years and this was one of the best experiences of my life. It is so worth it.

I was in the area for a few days, found online Jojo's practice and got tempted to do the agua healing experience during my time in Mazunte. It was so magical, felt like a newborn baby being hold like that in the water with the sun hitting my face, it was really original and soothing. So happy to add that to my experience in Mexico and to have feel my spiritual self like that in that immersive water experience.

Magical is definitely the word. The hot springs and river are so healing in and of themselves, the land is breathtaking… add to that being in an incredibly nurturing and safe space to be yourself, to connect to your essence, and to share with other women, and all the practices Jojo shared and you have a beautiful cauldron for transformation. I came to the retreat in the midst of a lot of anxiety and deep emotion, looking for some settling and I found it. There was permission to be with my emotions and to move through what was coming up for me. And to be witnessed in such presence by others was healing. If you feel the call - do it. If you feel it and are nervous about something - do it anyway! Many of us were nervous about different aspects - for me it was being in a group while feeling I needed alone time and also being really emotional. In the end it was perfect. The small group size and safe space Jojo held for us to share - words, tears, rage, whatever, was exactly what was needed. And if I needed time by myself I took it. Every morning I bathed in the river alone at sunrise and watched the birds coming to drink. It was the perfect medicine to be in nature and somewhere so incredibly peaceful.

What an incredible trip this was, unexpected to say the least, I have gone on many yoga retreats, and this was not what I thought it was going to be in the best possible way! if you are wanting yoga every day, this is not the trip, this is an all-immersive experience into your deep-rooted traumas, misconceptions, ideas of who you are. It will challenge you in ways you have not been challenged. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be frustrated with no WIFI or any connection to the outside world. You will swim, you will eat, you will share your deepest thoughts, you will experience workshops that will take you deep into your own soul and you will leave with answers and questions. Invest into you!! Take this trip!! Enjoy it and appreciate the extreme beauty and goddess that you know you are!!

This is the first retreat I've ever been on. I was a little nervous, as it felt a little outside of my comfort zone but it ended up being an amazing experience. Jojo is so kind and nurturing, and she plans all of the activities with so much care. Everything we did was connective, healing, and restorative. Not to mention the river and the hot springs are gorgeous, the photos do not do them justice.

During this retreat I was able to relax and bring my attention inward, which was the purpose of the retreat. Everything that happened (aguahara, sitting in the sulphur springs, meditation, yoga, vegan food, conversations and sharing with the other girls, women's circle, mandala drawings, singing together, looking into another person's eyes, washing another's person feet, greeting the sun, the vulnerability with which we each allowed ourselves to be seen, sleeping in the middle of nature, journaling) led to a state of disconnection and acceptance of what it is. Jojo and Heather proved to be great leaders and I thank them for that too. The program was very well thought out and I think, achieved its purpose for each of us. What I didn't like was the dark room I stayed in with another girl, the fact that there were spiders and bugs in the room and that the place we stayed in wasn't exactly clean and tidy. Maybe in the future these aspects can be improved, Anyway, I recommend this retreat, I recommend Jojo and Heather!

I feel incredibly blessed that I was able to participate in this remarkable retreat experience. JoJo holds a beautiful container and the lands are so nourishing and healing. Gentle and sweet! This was a very active retreat , filled with a full schedule of amazing activities and experiences. I still feel so nourished and transformed from my time in retreat.! I will definitely be enjoying another one of JoJos retreats!

It took me a year to write this review, but the fact that I am writing it means everything. Especially for my neuro-spicy brain. This experience was the first meditation retreat that I had ever been to and I still think about it frequently. It was everything I needed and more. I was in an extreme state of burnout and depression when I went. It didn't cure those factors but it did teach me what it felt like to truly be nourished mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The people that are there with you are there for a purpose, the hot springs were cleansing, the food was incredible and the yoni/goddess ritual was life-altering. My perspective shifted completely after this trip and I am so grateful to Jo and the magical Huatulco for creating this incredible adventure. I highly recommend this retreat and send my gratitude!

This retreat was one of the best experiences in my life! I never felt so acceped just the way I am. I never thought that I could feel so deeply connected with other woman which I hadn't seen before and that in such a short time. It was amazing. We shared so many emotions together throughout the exercises we did together and during our daily sharing circles. We cried together but also laughed together. It was beautiful. Jojo is an amazing woman, very motherly and supportive. She helped me with transport and she also organised a hostel for me for my stay after the retreat. I never did a retreat before and I came there all by myself. But I left with soooo much love and some beautiful soul sisters. The food was also amazing and very healthy. The villa is very nice with a beautiful view right to the ocean. I can really recommend this retreat even or especially when your going by yourself.
