I did a couple of tours while in San Salvador and this one will be the most memorable. From seeing small plumes of smoke from Santa Ana, to learning all the work that goes into a great cup of coffee, this tour got me out of the city and into the El Salvador farmers live in. The city of Ataco is picturesque and a great place to pickup some fruit between the coffee and hot springs. Definitely recommend dipping your toes in before jumping in the pools, as temperatures vary from day to day. Our guide Alex was awesome, knowledgeable and kept my wife and I laughing for 8 hours! Highly recommend

I did a multi-day Maya Triangle tour (El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala), seeing the major Mayan ruins and other awesome things in the three countries. Francisco created a custom itinerary and was available to answer my questions before and during my trip. I had no issues using the tickets, bus, drivers, and flight to Flores, Tikal, that Francisco booked for me. Alex, a Salvadorian native who speaks good English, was my driver in El Salvador and Honduras and to the bus station to go to Guatemala. He made my tour experience stress-free, smooth, and fun. Alex knows how to navigate borders by car and can deal with immigration easy. You will be satisfied with Alex.

My parents are older and have never been to Central America, so I was looking for a tour company that offered an itinerary that allowed them to see more places and try a variety of activities. Francisco was very responsive and helped me plan something that they enjoyed so much they couldn't stop talking about it for months after. Our guide, Alex, got along great with my parents, and was so helpful and fun to be around. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Booked a custom-made solo vacation with Inter Tours because they easily arranged exactly the itinerary I wanted for my short stay. The tour was a multi-day circle starting & ending at San Salvador. First visiting Joya de Ceren archeological UNESCO site, Cerro Verde volcano park, Lake Coatepeque, Santa Ana; then to Honduras to Copan Ruinas & Copan archeological site, Macaw Mountain bird refuge; back to San Salvador for my last day touring the capitol & Boqueron volcano. I highly recommend Inter Tours because of the easy communication before the trip & then they went out of the way to ensure I had a great time. Stopping for me to take pictures or trying different coffees to take home, and even driving all over San Salvador to help me find postcards & stamps! Both Franciscos were fantastic guides; Dina was kind to stop for local fruits & make me fresh cacao to drink. The pictures don't do it justice but it's a beautiful country & well worth a visit. Our tour guide was Alexa , he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us about all the sites we visited and also shared with us a lot of histrionics and information about the country. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone coming to El Salvador

I selected Inter tours because of their fast responsiveness. Francisco was great! he answered all of my questions and i felt very taken care of by each tour guide in each country! at the end of my trip I was interested in continuing on to other Central American countries and the responsiveness was a bit delayed but other than that everything was perfect and I would definitely recommend and book with again! Inter Tours made our trip special. I contacted few tour operators from El Salvador when I was planning this trip. Chico from Inter Tour clearly stood out amongst all of them. Chico was very responsive. He was in constant communication with me on the WhatsApp. I just told him my interest and he planned the entire trip for me. Chico picked us at the airport and also helped us get tested for Covid as it was the requirement to enter into the Guatemala. Our Mayan Ruins tour started next day. Alex was our tour guide and driver. We cannot thank Alex enough for the wonderful trip. He speaks fluent English which is a huge plus. He helped with immigration. He showed us local culture. He took us to the restaurants serving authentic local food. Alex was quick to understand our interest and he even modified our itinerary on the fly to suit our interest. Thank you so much Inter Tours for making our trip special. I highly recommend Inter Tours. If you do not speak Spanish(even if you speak Spanish), make sure you ask for Alex 🙂

The guide was very prompt in picking me up. Stayed in the back ground while taking panoramic photos. Guide told me to take my time. Was not rushed. The guides Francisco and Alex spoke English all the time, which was a big plus. Thanks to Inter Tours of San Salvador.

We took a half day tour to El Zunzal and el Tunco from San Salvador. It was a hot day and our only day to visit the beautiful beaches. The walk on the rocky beach was tiring but thankfully inter tours had a really nice hotel with a pool and facilities that we could use, which will be exactly what you need given the beach conditions - rocky and no beds by the beach. The best part about our tour was definetly our guide, Francisco! Very genuine and professional. Would definetly reccommend, thank you Francisco and Dina 🙏🏻

I highly recommend Inter Tours El Salvador! My husband and I knew we only had one day in San Salvador on route to Costa Rica and wanted to see as much as this beautiful city as possible. From the moment I emailed Francisco to the moment Alex (our tour guide) drove us back to the airport, we felt that we were in good hands! The constant communication prior to our arrival was superb, even to the point of advising on covid-19 testing venues for our return to the US. And when we landed in the airport we found Alex awaiting and eager to share his beautiful city. We did the city tour with this well-informed and enthusiastic guide! We did a quick stop at our hotel to change and he kindly waited for us. We concluded our evening at Plaza Volcan and enjoyed amazing Pupusas with Alex overlooking the city (a must-try local staple). The next morning, we were promptly picked up and driven to the airport with this cheery fella! We will be definitely back to Elsalvador and plan to tour the neighboring countries with Inter Tours.

Great tour packed with 3 different towns and lots to do! We started in Cihuatán (first and largest prehistoric settlement) where we climbed to the top of the pyramid. In La Palma, we painted our own keepsake box mimicking the style of the most famous Salvadoran painter Fernando Llort. Our tour guide Alex was flexible with the tour since we spent extra time at La Palma working on our keepsake boxes, we adjusted the amount of time for the rest of the tour. In Suchitoto, we caught practice of the Mayan ballgame and did some shopping since Suchitoto is known for its indigo. Great tour with something for everyone! Highly recommend if you like learning and experiencing El Salvador's culture first hand: climbing ruins, arts & crafts, shopping, and more!

Suchitoto is a beautiful town to visit has couple of Hotes very confy and nice also you can go to suchitlan lake I recomend you to take a boat ride is amazing

One of my favorite tours while in El Salvador and worth the drive to Morazan. Our tour guide Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable. From El Mozote Memorial, Garden of Innocents,The Museum of Salvadorian Revolution, and more, I learned a lot about Salvadorian history through an ex-revolutionary Felipe, who was full of first-hand experiences and so much knowledge! 👏🏾 I would gladly take the tour again and stay the night in Perquin to take other tours of the area.🇸🇻

I add the chance to do the 4 days tour with Inter Tours. The accomodation was very comfy and clean. I had a different guide every day, very informative about the different aspects of El Salvador experience during the day tour : history, volcano, food, archaeology.
