We arrived 10 minutes early and got out of terminal with our luggage,after a very long flight from Australia we hope to get to the hotel as fast as possible, We could not see the driver or a sign with our name, we did wait for nearly 50 min. walking up and down looking for driver or a sign with our name. During our wait we were hustled by so many drivers suggesting to use their car and facility, for nearly half the price we were told by our original booking. After nearly one hour waiting I approached one of the airport staff and managed to make him understand what my problem is , and asked him to write me a line or two about our situation, and the amount of time we were waiting for our ride (Just in case if the driver had another story to tell). The same staff suggested to go 100 to the right , and there I found so many limousine taxi company to take us to our hotel our booking with booking.com was for AU$78. and the other compy charged us 50 Euro so nearly the same price.. when we were sitting in the taxi and started our journey to our hotel the original driver from Alantransfer called and told us that he is waiting for us at the gate. When he found out that he is 1 hour late and we already on our way to hotel. he got upset and said but you have to pay him anyway.. I was too tired to argue, so I hang up.

The moment you went out from the immigration counter and got your luggage, just go out and go to the bus station and buy the ISTANBUL KART and ask them which bus number. You will travel for an hour from the airport to taksim square.
