We had 2 full day tours with this company. The first one was Cinque Terre and the second was Siena, Tuscany, Pisa.
The first tour was beautiful and took us to 4 of the 5 cities with a modest lunch and boat ride back. The tour is very fast paced and physically demanding but worth it. Our problem was our tour guide, Luca. He was not very engaged and not too personal. He is very tall and walked at a very fast pace making it hard for the group to keep up. He refused to use a flag or sign for the slower individuals in our group to keep up. Our tour ended late in the evening and he failed to advised anyone of the transportation issues to return to Florence City Center. After a few members of our group complained, he felt bad and stayed and helped us find our way back with the local trains.

Our second full day excursion with Enrica was amazing. She was very engaged and friendly. She was very informative and helped our tour with any individual questions about our location and history behind it. This tour was also fast paced but not as physically demanding. She redeemed her company with her excellent service.

My suggestion of you wish to book with them is to ask a lot of questions about each tour and it’s exact itinerary and return times

We did the day trip on 2Dec2019 which was our first full day in Italy. The day started with light rain but thankfully cleared up by late morning. Edgard, our tour guide, showed us many vantage points with panoramic views to take great photos. He did a great job to manage the group that is made up of various ages, often checking to ensure no one was left behind. Thank you Edgard for showing us how beautiful Cinque Terre is! And most importantly recommending the cosy little restaurant with the best pizza we had in Italy!

If you are staying in Florence Italy and looking for something to do, a day trip to Cinque Terre is just the thing. The beauty and quaintness of this place will blow you away. Most people go there between March and November, but if you go during the off season you won’t have to fight the crowds and can see the same thing. It is beautiful anytime of year.
If you get Edgard to lead you on the tour you are in luck. He will entertain you the whole day and take you to the key spots in all the towns. Just be sure you can walk a lot and climb steps to be able to get to the breath taking views.

Our tour guide was Luca and he was friendly, informative and engaging. We had a spectacular time seeing the sights of Cinque Terre. We would highly recommend opting to have lunch whilst on the tour. The food was authentic and delicious!! Also, we appreciated Luca’s gesture of ensuring that we were dropped off outside our hotel safe and sound. The tour was intimate as we were part of a small group and worth every penny!

The only small criticism that we have is that the departure information such as the location was unclear. However, Luca contacted us and found us quickly and this was reassuring.

Thanks for a wonderful trip and for being a fantastic host.

Tour was awful. Basically, you get two guides to herd the 40 people in your group. The day was supposed to start at 7, but we left late. Also, the meeting point is almost a mile from Santa Maria novella station, which is odd considering most hotels are near there. After we boarded our bus and headed out, we had to stop twice to pick up more people along the way, which took more time. Then at 10, we got to the train station which would take us into cinque Terre. Since we were late, we missed one train and had to wait for the next. Our guides had us wait outside herded together for a hour. Also, the whole trip, nothing was explained and there was no timetable ever laid out. So after waiting for an hour, we got herded onto the train, which was packed because the company had two groups running the same time (about 40 people a group), and wanted us all on the train at the same time.

After 20 minutes, at 1130,we FINALLY got to the first destination where we were told we had until noon then back on the train.

The guide did not tell us about the town or point anything out.

At this point, my boyfriend and I decided we couldn't take it anymore. We went back to the meeting point to tell them we would be splitting off, but the guide hadn't got back yet. Not wanting to waste more time, we told someone else in the group and left.

After exploring on our own, we paid 17 euro for a lovely and direct train ride back to florence which was better and faster than the bus that morning.

This entire !@#*storm was just basically transportation and someone to hold up a flag when it was time to get on a train. Navigating the trains was not difficult and made me realize I wasted money with this purchase.

Dear customer, We regret to receive this review from you. Our goal is to satisfy our customers and their expectations and we work hard to make this possible. However, we are sorry that our guide did not explain anything to the city and the tour wasn't on your expectations. We are sorry for the delay to the five lands but the tour is organized to do in group and so we must also respect the others. However, we appreciate your feedback in order to improve our services for the future. Thank you for your contribution. My Tour

My husband and I took this trip in May. I can only echo the reviews that have been written previously. This was the worst trip we took. The "tour assistant" barely spoke English. He spent most of the trip talking with his friends. There was zero information given about Cinque Terre. Instead, we were unceremoniously dumped in the town and told when to return to meet the assistant. We also had the same experience of riding on the public trains which was so crowded that we weren't even sure when you get off and had a hard time even keeping track of our "assistant". At the end of the tour we were forced to march on the Bataan death march of almost a mile to get back to the bus. This was bad enough because in addition to this the assistant set such a pace that some of us who were elderly and had health issues couldn't even keep him in sight. The worst part about all this is that review after review of this tour has been very bad yet the company has not acted to correct it. If you want a great tours in Florence or Rome use any of the Walks in Italy tours. They are fantastic. Do not take this tour!

Dear customer, We regret to receive this review from you. Our goal is to satisfy our customers and their expectations and we work hard every day to make it possible. Cinque Terre tour is a very preferred tour from people all over the world and that is why it is overcrowded. We are sorry to receive this review regarding our tour guide because we haven't previously received complaints about his English level. However, we will investigate about this and we will take further actions for the future. Also, we are conscious about the changes that should be performed to this tour and we are highly committed for this but it requires time. Thank you for your contribution and your feedback that are always appreciated in order to improve our services.

We had great weather so really enjoy the scenery. I wish the tour can be better. the group we were in was huge (we were on a double deck bus pretty full) with only 1 tour guide speaking both languages so everything had to repeat twice. the tour guide must be new in this job, he got us on the bus didn't say much about the trip and didn't even introduce himself. we got on the boat ride (it's public boat) we almost didn't get off at the stop because when we heard someone say a tour name to get off, we wasn't sure if it's our tour. One of the member on the tour yelled at him when we got off and said to him, "hey, are you going to tell us what your name and what's our tour name so we know when to get off..." I have been on many tours this guy is the worst. he give no explanation on what we seeing etc. then when we got on the train, we have to remember to ask him when to get off because there were so many of us. you can easily miss the stop. Well, at one of the train station he forgot to validate or buy train ticket for us so when we got off the train he got stopped and that wasted about 15 to 20 minutes of our time waiting for the train station worker to talk to him. That cut short of our visit time in the town. the whole trip was rushing, rushing not much time to enjoy except for the town we stopped for lunch. The tour company charged us so much money I wish they can send an experience tour guide and have at least 2 guides with such a large group. I am very disappointed with this tour!
if you have enough time I suggest to take the train there yourself so you can control the time and really enjoy the beautiful city as you wish since the tour guide won't tell you much anyway.

Our guide Marcie had 53 people to manage on a very crowded Easter Monday. He did an outstanding job of keeping everyone moving and allowing free time to explore. The day lasted from 6:30 am to 9:30 pm so be prepared for a lot of travel. No boats in April but the trains work well. Lunch was excellent.

This tour is great except: too large a group, very difficult to always hear and understand the guide so she did her best to accommodate everyone. All the villages are beautiful, a real treat to see. I highly recommend seeing them but advise caution if you have any difficulty at all in climbing/descending stairs, walking on steep downhill or uphill roads or doing a lot of walking in general. My calf muscles screamed at me for 2 days afterwards!!! The tour requires a VERY long exhausting day with a long bus ride at the beginning and the end. We met at the train station at 7 a.m. and returned about 9 p.m. then had to wait in a long taxi line to get back to our hotel. LONG long exhausting day. I think there must be a better way to see Cinque Terre. Our lunch was very disappointing as well and we paid 20 euro each! We should have finished all the sample limoncini and we wouldn't have noticed the lunch wasn't great! No more full day bus excursions for us! But Cinque Terre is definitely worth seeing.

kind customer, thank you for writing to us. we are sorry that not all of the trip has been as you have thought but generally when you book a tour that comes to touch distant destinations (but in general this is true for any tour) it is always good to read the warnings that we write in the form for all our trips, that is the part where we explain to whom the tour is fit and what it is about our services included and those excluded from the price of the whole day. The Cinqueterre are a great place but also a bit demanding if you are not in optimal physical condition and the day may be long and heavy when instead it is a tour organized in the smallest detail to put everyone at ease. obviously the time on the bus is necessary, it is not just around the corner if you leave from Tuscany, we always make sure that the journey travels smoothly by choosing the best drivers and guides that can accompany you at the best throughout the day. thank you anyway for choosing us. Edgard was our tour guide and he was quite responsible for the safety of so many tourists. Many tourists expect a lot of guidance and information while visiting 5 villages but it is impossible for a person to guide so many tourists with safety and keep talking. Edgard was so meticulous in ensuring everyone crossed the roads carefully and providing clear instructions on where to assemble. He provided any information someone requested anytime and took great care in ensuring all families sit on the same table during lunch. The lunch place is well picked and really worth the time unless you are hung up on hiking which is also a good idea. Lillo was our driver and he was fabulous and patient with all passengers always in cheerful mood. This is the right trip to learn the region before you can come alone and hike on your own. We had a fabulous time.
