We are Group of 15 certified divers based Qatar with around 5 nationalities went to explore diving in Sri Lanka and our amazing Dive center was Sun diving SriLanka and the produce to us a five stars services and helping and Gide in briefing and in boat and in the surface and under water we did 10 dive with a perfect teem from their dive center, all of them was perfect I have a special thanks for the perfect dive master Asia Kula for take care for all diver

Everything about this organisation was slick and helpful from the first online communication to the actual dive. As a newly certified diver, this was my first fun dive. They helped me check my equipment and then we were off in the boat to travel a short distance to the dive site. It was just me and my dive master in the water as my wife chose to snorkel around the anchored boat instead. The wind was whipping up the surf so visibility wasn't the best (about 8m I guessed) but sufficient to see the plethora of brightly coloured fish, the wreck, the amazing lines of seabed pots and the spooky statue which seems to creep up on you. Got to see a stingray and a lion fish. Back on shore, the tea was refreshing after the exhilaration of diving in a mild swell. Everything about Sun Diving was professional and the location is beautiful.

We were a group of 15 divers travelled together for 10 fun dives over 3 days. The dive instructors, dive masters and the whole team were fantastic. I felt safe with this dive centre. All the dives were boat dives and we returned back to the centre after each dive. The team took all our equipment to the boat for us, assisted us on board, helped us to put on our equipment and helped to get in and out of the sea. After each dive they took our kit back to the dive centre and changed the tanks over whilst we sat and drank tea! An excellent experience thankyou !

Had a great time completing my advanced open water course! Lea, my instructor, was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Sun diving couldn’t have been a better choice!

We had refresher dives since it had been a while since we last dived – the instructors were helpful and skilled. After that, we did four dives, only renting equipment. It was the most affordable diving I’ve ever experienced ($25–45 per dive). The equipment was good, and they took care of all the rigging and transport for us while serving tea on the beach. The staff were friendly and service-oriented. The dive sites and marine life were impressive. (Unfortunately, the coral life is somewhat limited due to the tsunami, but this applies to the entire coast.)

Very happy with this place! Very nice venue right on the water and incredibly friendly staff. All dives went smoothly and they were very efficient and helpful throughout. Not to mention it was very affordable!

I had a great time getting my open water certificate here. All the staff are so friendly and helpful! Minosh is a great teacher - really good at explaining things clearly and patient whilst you practice! He was also really flexible, gIving me the option to complete my dives over two or three days. I also stayed at the guesthouse which was a lovely experience. The room was spacious, comfy and clean, they provided me with free transport to and from the dive centre every day, and they let me check out late without any extra charge as they weren't fully booked. Thanks so much to the whole team!

Awesome diving experiences in early October. We wanted to go out, and they were honest with us saying that the visibility wasn't great, but they went out anyway and took us on some wonderful dives. As it was early season it was mostly just my partner and I with Wishva (Divemaster). Wishva was very attentive to what we wanted to see, and was able to edit dives to our liking! Boat crew also great and their driver knows the sea like the back of his hand. We felt so welcomed that after we left Unawatuna, we came back solely to go diving with Sun Diving, lovely people x) Amazing experience. AND TEA! :D

I got my PADI qualification with Minosh at Sun Diving and it was brilliant. The whole Sun Diving crew were lovely and kind and I had a wonderful time. Minosh was a great instructor and very inclusive (I am deaf), and it was very accessible. It was a fabulous experience overall.

Wonderful experience. I did my first PADI Open Water course there and the staff at the center made it extremely easy and very enjoyable. I highly recommend the center for both the professional team, location and general atmosphere. The instructor Minosh T Fernando and his colleagues made it an unbeatable experience.

The diving team were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They talked us through all of the information we needed not having dived for a while. They demonstrated clearly and supported us throughout. They were ensuring our safety at all times and bent over backwards to make it easy and a pleasure for us. A great team!!

Had an amazing experience with Sundiving! I did my Open Water PADI here and they did an amazing job at teaching me and keeping me safe. Besides the professional treatment I also had a lot of fun here and made new friends! I recommend this place 100% if you want to do a fun dive, discover dive or your PADI!!

The team is great. Originally, I just signed up for the discovery class to see if I would like diving. The team was so knowledgeable and I felt completely safe in their hands so I decided to just go ahead and get my diving certificate. 4 dives and an online test later....I passed! Your safety is their main concern. My teacher, Minosh was amazing. I can't say enough great things about Sun Diving Sri Lanka.

i was so luck to do my rescue course in sun diving sri lanka, the best dive center in Unawatona , excellent service, very friendly , very good training According to PADI standard, Meknow is a very nice and professional instructor , it was realy nice choice , recommended for all divers who want to complete courses to be divemasters.

Our diving experience with Sun Diving SriLanka was fantastic. We scheduled two sessions with them, including an introductory one for my partner. The instructors displayed remarkable patience, taking the time to alleviate any lingering fears she had. As we prepared on the boat for the dive, we were treated to an incredible sight: a whale shark passing by very closely. The dive itself was superb. The instructors remained vigilant, ensuring our safety, while also pointing out various sea life and other interesting sights. Unfortunately, during the dive, my partner lost her earring in the sea. However, the crew later located it, allowing us to retrieve it. We're truly grateful for such a wonderful experience. Many Thanks to Sun Diving SriLanka for providing such exceptional service.
