We were picked up promptly by our driver & tour guide, Nuno, from our hotel. He was friendly & polite and explained the tour itinerary. We spent the morning exploring the coastal area of the Algarve, stopping at various locations including Alvor, Portimao, Ferragodo and inland to Silves, seeing some amazing views. Some places could not be reached by normal cars. Each stop, Nuno explained something about the history of the area, names of the beaches, bays & caves and interesting facts. The information was interesting & not at all boring. We ventured off to the mountains where we stopped for an amazing 3 course lunch with coffee & drinks. We chatted with Nuno and all got to know each other. After the delicious lunch, we headed off road further into the mountains, which was great fun, making a stunning photo stop on the way, before eventually reaching the highest point on the Algarve at Foia. The views here were something else, being able to see the Algarve coast and it's beaches. We thought this would be the end of the tour, but we stopped again for fresh mountain water & an explanation of the cork trees, followed by a visit to Monchique village and then a Pasteleria for meats, bread, cakes and 5 different liquers!!!! There was still one last drive past before heading back to our hotel. The whole day was absolutely brilliant and we couldn't have wished for a better host. Nothing was rushed and we loved every minute. We would highly recommend this tour......obrigado Nuno 😀 PS hope the seat is dry!!

We were collected at our hotel today by a young man called Aurtur (without the H) and he was a perfect guide and driver. He is very knowledgable regarding the local history. We visited lots of interesting places before going off road into the mountains. What an experience delivered by an excellent guy.

We went on fun tour with my 2 friends and actually it was really fun and we were surprised how many could be included in this tour. We spend most of the day with the rider who was such a chill guy with brilliant English and good sense of humour. He told us many interesting stories about places we wouldn't seen without him. We saw beautiful cliffs, the highest point of south Portugal and we had huuuge launch that included wine, soft drinks, dezert, appetizer and the main meal was also big and everything was in price. In this trip was included also boat ride with other young people and we have seen cool cliffs and even swam. It was really fun I would love to go again here!

Really fun. The driver was so passionate about his country that he kept us enthralled with interesting facts and took us to places we would have never found on our own. The views were spectacular and the 4x4 experience was safe and exhilarating

My father and I took this day tour and absolutely loved it! You experience everything from beaches, the countryside to the deep mountains of Portugal! Our tour guide, Nunu, was super insightful to everything around us and was a great tour guide. He answered all of our questions and gave up tips for where we should visit for the remainder of our stay in Portugal. If you have a whole day, we highly recommend taking this tour as you can see every part of Southern Portugal on it while taking a ride in a fun 4 wheel off-road vehicle. We would love to go back and do this again in the spring or summertime when it's a little warmer!
