About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- alicjabX2050IN0 contributionsDefinitely worth it!I think it's worth going on this full-day trip, but don't set your expectations too high when it comes to the hot springs. Taking a dip there feels a bit like soaking in a bathtub with smelly water alongside 100 other people. Besides, it's a very short stop, not an all-day water experience. The volcano itself is amazing, and so is the boat trip! Definitely worth it!Written January 13, 2025
- pinkykaurrall0 contributionsVolcano & hot Spring tourVery comfortable @ slow ride. 1st stop was at Volcanos i advise suitable footwear trainers & shorts or properly dressed wth plenty of water in heat. You can easily do this at your own pace or with your group wthin an hour. It is all up hill though. The 2nd stop was Volcanic Spring waters. My husband jumped in, you have to ask for a woggle & are guided in & are not allowed to dive in. Me & my children watched & enjoyed view. You are allowed 30 mins & it goes very quick by the time the whole group jumps in & gets back in. Definatly worth the visit & money.Written December 14, 2024
- Dechan A0 contributionsTraditional boat tripWe booked this in oct this year.. the traditional boat was so beautiful and it started from the old port in Fira.. we were taken to the Volcanic island .. which was a good 20 min walk up hill but our guide was with us and he kept us occupied with the stories about how Santorini n nearby volcanic islands were created.. the view from top was worth it ..this was followed by swim in nearby hot spring water and then they stopped over another island for lunch.. it was a small group tour hardly 25 people.. so it was well organised n fun.. The view from the boat was amazing and we were happy that we chose this activity for the day..Written November 7, 2024
- Jcjc19940 contributionsDefinitely recommendGreat day out! Would highly recommend. This one does the volcano hike first and then the swim in the sea / thermal pool. Our guide was very informative, which really added to the experience. The stop off for lunch was lovely, and amazing views of the caldera and islands throughout. Very good value excursion.Written November 6, 2024
- 100mlLiquids0 contributionsLovely day outWe did the 6hour tour, the itinerary was very much as described. The climb on to the top on the volcano gave spectacular view of the Caldera. The swim in the hot springs was a invigorating and you do have to be a good swimmer as the current can be strong. The return trip to Fira was along the cost of the main island. Out guide (Georgia) was very good and gave informative commentary. This boat trip was a nice break from all the climbing/trekking we did to explore Santorini.Written October 30, 2024
- TheLeonieSii0 contributionsGreat way to learn about the history of SantoriniWhat an incredible (and affordable - at least, in October), way to explore Santorini! This half-day tour was great, although I wish they were able to add an extra half hour to each stop, especially on Thirassia island. We barely had enough time to walk up the stairs to the town and have lunch. It would have been nice to have an extra half hour so we could also add in a swim in the sea. Nevertheless, no complaints :) We learnt a lot about Santorini during the tour.Written October 27, 2024
- 943maddies0 contributionsLovely but overcrowded!A lovely trip that was very much enjoyed with some lovely tour guides. However the day was boiling hot and there was no shade on the boat - the boat was VERY overcrowded and it was very confusing at the start to setermine which boat we needed to get on to. The inside area with drinks etc. had people smoking inside which was very unpleasent. Make sure you bring sunscreen and lots of water, we ended up very burnt after sitting in the direct sun the whole time. The swim at the hot spring was much needed and a relief after being in the sun, not very warm but on a hot day it was fantastic. A lovely tour but well and truly needs less people on the boat - we could barely hear what our guide was saying (and he also had to translate it into a few langauges as well) the guides were lovely.Written October 20, 2024
- 143lesah0 contributionsPerfect short cruise from Fira to the volcanoWonderful crew! The guide, Dimitris, was very knowledgeable and attentive to all the guests’ needs. I was alone on this tour as my friend decided to take an afternoon off. Dimitris took a little time to answer all my questions about the volcano and Santorini. I would highly recommend this tour.Written October 15, 2024
- Deanne A0 contributionsGreat location, friendly staffBeautiful views and very friendly staff. The AC was just barely enough but overall a very good location central to Oia for easy eating and shopping.Written October 12, 2024
- LWarnock0 contributionsVolcano and hot springs boat tripAmazing experience. We hoped on the local bus to drop us at fira then walked down the stairs to the port. The views were spectacular but beware the walk dien the stairs is intense. The views across back to Fira from the boar were gorgeous. The hike up the volcano also offered outstanding views. Wear sensible shoes for the hike. The boat then drops off at the hot springs so my teens loved jumping off the boat and having a bit of time in the springs. We paid an extra 6€ for cable car up the stairs a truly jaw dropping experience and great photos. An amazing day out we loved every minuteband good value for money. I'd highly recommendWritten October 11, 2024
- Cheryl S0 contributionsGreat day out on the Caldera. We included hotel pickup. It was fun to get out on the water. The ship was really cool. Bench style seating with tables up top where the bar was. There was shade on the lower deck and you could sit inside down there. That’s also where the bathrooms were. I forget our captains name but he was good. Lots of information about the caldera and the volcano. The sound system was clear. I hiked up the volcano but wasn’t super impressed. Nice views. Lots of rocks. But not really my thing. It was awesome to jump into the ocean at our next stop and swim to the warm (not hot) springs but it was fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Then we sailed to the island of Thirasia. We didn’t walk to the village up the hill but had an amazing meal at the restaurant that the captain recommended. Then they lowered the price of drinks, cranked the music and we sang and danced to Greek and popular favourites (YMCA, songs from ABBA, etc) while we toured along the shoreline of Oia to the port of Thira. Beautiful, fun day. It was so worth it. This one is cheap and fun.Written October 9, 2024
- deanj7000 contributionsIt was a way to get to the enticing islands in the caldera..We enjoyed overall. Pickup/drop-off was well-managed. The boat was overcrowded and managing 120 tourists takes time. Make sure to bring money or credit card, as you will NEED additional euros to get entrance to the volcano walk, island lunch and even drinking water on board. There is a minibar on the boat offering water for $1, but just one included water would be nice, as shade is tough to find on board and on-island. Bring/wear sunscreen - if you aren't at the front of the line to get back on the boat, you may be sardined on a bench in full sun. Some of the guests were showing some serious sunburn by the end of the 6 hour tour. Because of the size of the boat, the guides almost exclusively spoke over the intercom which was of poor quality and made the translation rough. This would be a much nicer tour if they set a passenger limit of 80 or less and more face-to-face interaction. Expect vaping, even in tight quarters - at least 2 of the guests were regularly lighting up and nothing was said. The "hot" springs require good imagination - if you weren't told that they were "hot", you wouldn't know..Written October 7, 2024
- KentEnglandLife0 contributionsWorth it's moneyFantastic, crew are really nice. Well worth it's money. All stops give you adequate time to do things. The volcano walk isn't bad at all. The hot Springs is fun, jump in and enjoy 20 minutes or so . Thirissa is somewhere to grab a bite to eat at the port area, there are a couple of restaurants up the top but you are walking up for around 15 mins. Nice up there but only a few restaurants. The mini market was shut when I went. The Church up here looks nice but it's up to you if you think it's worth the hike up.Written October 5, 2024
- Joyceman30 contributionsFabulous tour would recommendFabulous tour. Our Guide Ceasar was amazing. He could speak English and French as well as Greek. He had so much knowledge of the places we went to and took care of all of us expecially the walk up to the volcano. The highlight for me was seeing Sanitarani from the sea which is a incredible sight. Be warned the walk up to the volcano is for the strong and fit as my Husband's watch showed 3000 steps up and just less down, we struggled to keep up with the partyWritten October 3, 2024
- H9308REmarkw0 contributionsGreat ExperienceLovely experience, the boat spotlessly clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the experience but probably would book without the dinner as wasn’t that great, cold and the veg edible. Personally the music wasn’t to our liking more for party boat, preferred music suitable to watch a romantic sunset.Written October 3, 2024

We left in July 2021. There were 4 of us, it was very easy to meet at a place for the bus to pick us up, arriving at the port you had to pick up your reservation and manage to find your guide depending on the language chosen at the time. of the reservation but everyone clearly indicated to us where we should go.
You have to pay for your entry to the volcano but it's worth it, a short walk to get to the top but the view is incredible! Times are given to return to the boat and move on to the next location.
Palea Kameni is super beautiful, the water is a magnificent blue. You have to jump off the boat and swim to get to the hot springs, incredible experience!
Arriving at the village of thirassia, we sat at the restaurant, many boats arrive for meal time, the terraces are full but the service is done rather quickly, I still advise you to eat first before visiting .
After that we toured Santorini, the guide was great, these explanations in 3 different languages were complete, very good day

Excellent tour to the Volcano, the volcano chimneys in the open sea with a dip included, dinner on board watching the Oia sunset from the boat.
The crew is very cool, there is a bar on board that offers some delicious drinks and some snacks.
The climb to the volcano is only for the brave, I gave up halfway, my daughter reached the top.
The dive into the sea is unmissable.
Dinner is a typical Greek meal very well served, you can repeat it, they give you wine and water.
And the sunset is a unique experience.
We went on the Aphrodite Boat

I loved the boat trip with stops, a beautiful 360° view at the top of the sleeping volcano. Then swimming in the hot springs looked great too, you just had to swim a few meters to them. On the last island you could rest and eat something in various places and if you wanted to visit the town you could also take a long walk up and back with another beautiful view as a reward. The only downside to this boat trip is at the end. Upon arrival at the port, buses will be waiting to take you to Oia for the sunset or back to your boarding point. But that was not arranged well at all because I had a ticket including sunset but ultimately did not see it because I was placed on the wrong bus even though I indicated this. So folks make sure you have a printed ticket in English which seems to help. I only had cell phone. Otherwise a great boat trip, but busy on the boat.

The whole day was a superb and unforgettable experience. The first stop at the volcano - Nea Kameni - could have been shorter, as the walk to the summit was not enjoyed by everyone! The stop for swimming in the hot springs could have been longer. Thirasia island made a pleasant break for lunch - at the busy Captain's tavern with excellent service. The stop here could have been longer, giving more time to explore the island.
Cruising under the cliffs of Oia provided another unique perspective of the island. After being dropped off at the port, we were transported by bus to Oia itself, where we could explore until 9 pm after viewing the sunset and enjoying a meal at a taverna.
The caique itself (converted wooden fishing vessel) was immaculate and the crew were friendly and helpful.
Definitely a cruise to be remembered and recommended to all visitors to Santorini.

Excellent excursion to the Caldera and volcano islands. We swam in the hot springs and had lunch at a small restaurant in one of the Islands.
Couldn't finish the visit to Oia but Georgia the tour guide, was kind enough to organize our ride back to Fira. The boat experience was great and Georgia made everything super interesting. I would totally recommend this excursion. Best experience in Santorini ever.

Good for the price. Only way they could have gotten 5 stars is if the tour guides had a little more enthusiasm. They were great at what they did but they didn't seem to Love what they did. Would have also loved to stay at the hot springs longer instead of staying on Thirassia for two hours. 30 minutes to get off the boat one by one then swim 50meters was not enough time to enjoy the hot springs.

We did this tour via another company (Santo star travel) and paid for half day.
We paid extra for them to pick us up from the hotel but at soon as we paid, they told us that the meeting point it is 20 min walk (5 min by bus) form our hotel, so make sure yo clarify before paying.
Once you get in the bus to the port, it's a chaos to find which boat you are supposed to be, we never were in any list.
Gabriel the tour guide was very nice, probably the only good thing from the tour.
The hiking to the volcano it's nice but you have just about the right time to get to the top, 2 real minutes for pictures and come back.
When they tell you that you can go to the hot springs, they don't tell you as per the guide that it is actually quite dangerous and only for strong confidence swimmers, you could see a few people that even tho they were all wearing bikini, after hearing this, they did not get into the waters. Also, if you planned to use the ladder, that takes 5/10 min away from the 30 you have in there.
The stop in Thirasia was too short to go up to the town and too long to stay on the bay which has a few bars and nothing else...
I think everyone would have appreciated a stop to swim instead.
The boat had a little bar with drinks and snacks and the toilets were clean.
Once got again to the port, more of the same.... Nobody knew which bus we were meant to be.
