      Not impressed
We were obviously second class. We arrived to a construction site and it just went downhill. While I give credit for flexibility in scheduling, we were not a priority. Multiple phone calls took precedence. Further, recipes were not provided. Overall an underwhelming experience.

Do not trust to ship wine, missing bottles and inaccurate representation of goods
This review is very difficult to write because this was my second tour with Nadia in five years. The tour itself is lovely and the wine is fantastic. We loved it so much we bought 18 bottles to be shipped home. Unfortunately that is where my review turns negative. We paid 190 Euro to have wine shipped by Nadia back to the US. The wine arrived and to our disappointment our shipment was missing the most expensive, reserve vintage we purchased. In addition, Nadia shipped the wine listed as "Italian Virgin Olive Oil" which cost a total of 24 Euro. I reached out to Nadia immediately after the wine arrived requesting she ship our final bottle and following up two separate times over the course of the next two months without any response. In total we lost ~$300 dollars and this is after paying $620 for the two people on the tour and leaving Nadia a generous tip. We will not be using Nadia's services ever again after this experience and it is a real shame because coming out of the tours my review would have been vastly different had the shipment been handled professionally.

Alora, did you know you can make pasta with chestnut flour?!
We started with making a crostata using a plum homemade jam of our choice. Then we learned to make a vegan pasta using chestnut flour and olive oil. Of course we learned how to make a traditional pasta using semolina flour. Both were so fun to make and eat. Marcella also taught us how to make two types of sauces using fresh tomatoes and other veggies. This was an excellent Italian activity. Grazie mille Marcella! Aloha, from Hawaii .... Wonderful and authentic Cooking Class!!!
Marcella and her family were so wonderfully welcoming and friendly! We made an authentic crostatta, a chestnut flour pasta and a tagliatelli pasta dish - all from scratch!! Delicioso!!! The class was held at a beautiful farm in Montelcino - the entire experience was cultural, informative and simply wonderful!!

      No chilli needed 😆
Had a wonderful evening with Marcella and her family, we learnt so much about the important ways of cooking and preparing four Italian foods. Thank you Marcella for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful home. Michael and Veronica

      Just the Best!
We actually did three tours with Nadia. Two were intimate dinners at a winery with a tour beforehand. The food, wine, and ambience were awesome! Of course, the weather was perfect and the full moon was out, just to add to the events. The other tour with Nadia was a full day of visiting four vineyards with lunch. Nadia knows all of the locals, picks out the ones best suited for the day (since it was near harvest time) and always delivers. We have connected with Nadia for two separate trips and will definitely book her on our next trip to Montalcino. She speaks excellent English, so she can help with any interpretation issues that may come up. I hesitate to give to glowing a report, because I am afraid she will get all booked up for our next trip back to Italia. But I cannot give high enough praise to Nadia and her tours--you will be happy you chose to go with her. It is like having your local friend give you the tour.

Best day tasting the best wines!
Nadia was fantastic and chose the best wineries for the three of us in our group to visit. We had private tours and tastings at 3 out of the 4 wineries we went to. She is very knowledgeable of the Montalcino area and of the wineries. Loved visiting the small local vineyards. Definitely a highlight of our trip! Can’t wait to receive the wine Nadia shipped for us!

I have learn the formula of success
A magic experience I am amazed about this experience, therefore I recommend it . I live in Siena since two décades, and I know the unique simplicity of Montalcino. A successful story that changed the life of thousands of people, thanks to the creativity of two farmers: Colombini and Biondi Santi.

      Wine Tour
Nadia did an amazing job on our Montalcino Wine tour! She went above and beyond and planned a tour including four wineries, a lunch and ending with a four course meal on a terrace overlooking the vineyards. It was a perfect day!!

      Day of Wine and Food
Our day began with a tour of a beautiful Brunello winery. We learned about the grapes then had an amazing tasting of wines. From there we went to a different Brunello winery where we had a luscious lunch paired with wines. Our next stop was at a saffron grower where we tasted saffron in many forms. At the end of the day we were sated and content. I highly recommend. Nadia our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. She tried to show us a unique day and succeeded

A Wine and Food lovers tour
We had an incomparable day of tasting Brunello wines, eating an incredible meal paired with wines and a rare tasting of saffron products. Our guide, Nadia, was fun and knowledgeable. She was willing to make our experience the best possible by helping us explore this part of Tuscany. It was a unique day where we walked away sated and happy.

      Brunello di Montalcino Wine Tour
This is an impressive tour of the famous sangiovese wineries of Tuscany. The guides were knowledgeable about all significant aspects of wine-making that contribute to the quality of the wine: climate, soil composition, harvesting, fermentation, bottling, and aging. Three to four wines are offered for tasting at each winery, and lunches are served. Highly recommended.

I booked the 1/2 day tour with the optional farmhouse lunch via email with Nadia. I was concerned about including my credit card information in an email so we agreed that we would do a combination of fax and email. In the end it all worked out, but it would be better to be able to book these tours on a secured website.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We did not stay within the distance to be picked up so we drove to the meeting spot in montalcino. Only issue we had was not having small denomination of euros for the parking meter. My husband had to go find the post office.

We went to 2 vineyards for tours. The first one was a very basic tour with little commentation by the young woman giving the tour. She also didn't tell us very much about the wines we were tasting. We didn't buy any wine here. The next vineyard was fantastic! The tour was given by the winemaker who was also a sommelier. He was very knowledgable about every aspect of the process. We tasted a couple of wines which were rosso di montalcino and brunellos. He went through each wine with us and we discussed the taste. We had a mixed case shipped to our home in the U.S. thoroughly enjoyed that tour and the wine.

My husband and I added the optional lunch at the farmhouse. We were the only two (out of our tour of four people) who did this. It was a bit awkward being the only 2 being served in someone's house, but they really served us and left us alone. The food was delicious and they also served a rosso and a brunello with the different courses.

Highly recommend this tour and add the lunch!

This was the third time we enjoyed this Day tour. This time we visited 4 new and different wineries around in Montalcino. We have now visited more than 10 vineyards over the years, and each has a different story to tell. You meet the people behind the dream and the very hard work. You see their pride, you hear their stories and you get the respect for what is behind the good wine from Montalcino.

Every time is a new experience, every time you understand a little bit more and every time the respect for this craftsmanship increases.

Every time I enjoy a Brunello I think of the people behind it.

We will be back - keep up this wonderful offering!

We did this tour again this year, excited as we were last year (see review below). This year it was a more set route - we visited 2 vineyards before lunch and 2 vineyards after lunch. Surprisingly, we were only 4 people on the tour this day, but that meant that we got to know each other and had a good time together.

Because of vacation period, the two vineyards before lunch were substituted with 2 others - fortunately for us since we had visited these two last year and got the chance to meet the people at these farms again.

After lunch we visited two new vineyards - both very nice.

The good things with the BWB (Brunello Wine Bus) is that you get a chance to meet the people behind the fantastic Brunello produce. You hear the story, see the passion, learn the "secrets" of good wine making.

We will be back next year!
