This Tasting is original, unique and allows a journey into the history of the traditions of our territory.
The idea was born with the collaboration born with the ACARBIO Amalfi Coast Biosphere Reserve Association born with the aim of bringing the Amalfi Coast towards this important recognition, because it is a unique territory, and for this reason in 1997 it was recognized by Unesco as "World Heritage Site".
Its landscape, its history, with its innumerable traditions, its varied culture, constantly need to be protected and protected for their uniqueness and fragility.
In the ACARBIO aperitif you will be able to taste different dishes with the ancient Re Fiascone tomato which will be paired with local wines.
The morning begins with a visit to the terraces where the RE FIASCONE is produced then at the end you can taste this incredible tomato (zero acidity) on homemade bread bruschetta, alone and accompanied by a good local wine.

- lstazko00Great way to spend an afternoonThe wine, the food, the people!! We spent several hours and had a four course meal along with four glasses of wine. These are not 'tastes' like you get in the USA, this was a glass of wine. Thankfully, we had a driver. All delicious, ended up buying 12 bottles to be shipped home. Price and shipping reasonable.
- Srt486000Wonderful experience, fantastic food!Wow, what a great experience!! The class is at a family farm. You actually first gather your ingredients (veggies, eggs) from the farm. Then Rafaela teaches you how to make wonderful Italian dishes. We made gnocchi and eggplant parmigiana, all from fresh ingredients. Delicious! Rafaela doesn’t speak English but is a great teacher. Nicola is there to translate. So fun to experience the life of an Italian family farm. They also shared wonderful desserts and their homemade wine and limoncello. Nicola was kind enough to arrange transportation to and from the farm as well with a wonderful driver named Ivo. Even though I was the only one signed up, they still held the class. Such a wonderful experience!! Gracie Mille!!

Its family operated - with the son doing the tour, the mom and dad making an amazing from scratch lunch with ingredients grown in there garden! Their wine is delicious we bought a case and had it shipped to the US. So glad that while there weren’t many reviews for this winery - we took the chance and went- highly recommended! My college age kids all said it was the most authentic experience of out trip to Amalfi coast! Make sure to also book a car to go back and forth - it is difficult to get to Tramonti via public transport.

This trip to the winary was a highligh of our few days on the Amalfi Coast. We were welcomed with joy to tour their wineyard and after a great tour of the winary tasted five superb wines with a plater of meats and cheese. This was not a big group tour, but just a personal meeting with some locals and them sharing the fruit of their labours of love. Stongly recomended, not to be missed!

Thanks to Nicola we were able to discover this village and its beauty around. Our first experience was of course the pizza course with wine tasting! Did you know that the napolitan style pizza is originally from Tramonti and not Naples as everybody think?! Well, I can say that I've learned how to prepare the true napolitan pizza! Delicious!!! Thanks again Nicola for that day, I can't wait to come back and visit you :)

We had the privilege of watching ricotta and mozzarella being made by a father and children for entire the Campaina region. Daily, the cheeses are made with locals arriving early to collect the freshest cheese of the region. The tour guide gave us the address and met us upon arrival. He gave us an amazing dictation and presentation on the history and making of cheese. We were provided samples with fresh honey and marmalade to accompany. The best cheese we had ever ate! Book It!

We had a tour of the vineyard and cellar, a private tasting and lunch prepared by one of the family owners. The wine was delicious, but not as delicious as the home cooked meal! Only about 30 mins from Rovello or Amalfi, this is a great side trip for those staying on the Amalfi coast.

Ravello is well worth the visit but the drive in and out can be a little unnerving for some. The steep and winding cliff side roads can make you feel a little insecure.
- Toebone2700Good day at Valle delle FerreireGuided visit within a small group from the centre of Amalfi. Leisurely walk with good views along the way - old paper mills, lemon groves, rivers and waterfalls. The gradient can be a little steep in places but manageable. Inside Valle delle Ferreire itself the scenery was stunning with high waterfalls, ferns, mosses, its own little cool ecosystem - didn’t quite get to see any salamanders though. The area itself was a little smaller than I expected but still worth the trip. Knowledgeable guide adds a lot of value, very glad we used him (Matteo).

I went to the tasting experience in Tramonti with friends this summer. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious tomato based courses; bruschetta with tomato or pesto (there was also an option with fish but I didn't take this as I don't eat fish, my friends liked it however). The tomato itself is very special, with a charming story about how the species was saved from extinction by the organisation.
We learned lots about the non-profit ACARBIO and the environmental work that they do working with locals and foreigners through their projects.
The location is picture-perfect. A breath of fresh air away from the slightly more crowded Amalfi coast. Tramonti had a much more authentic feel to it with few tourists and traditions remaining.
Be careful to check the bus times if you are coming from Maiori, the staff were very helpful with this. Other than that they were very kind, happy to talk about their organisation and we felt at home.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a taste of Italian culture in a relaxing setting.
