Would have been good….
Who wouldn’t want to do some great yoga in a tropical setting anyways? Unfortunately, this place wasn’t even open even though I was still able to book. I learned that that location is currently closed due to renovations. The “South” location is open.

Great beginner lesson, lovely staff
5/5 Beginner surf lesson with Selina Surf club in Santa Teresa My friend (27F) and I (27F) wanted to get in a surf experience while we were staying in Santa Teresa. We called a few spots the night before with little response and wandered around asking around at several surf shops until we got to Selina. Amazingly helpful staff - thanks Martu! - spoke to the manager quickly and got us a lesson for that afternoon at 4pm. Juan was our instructor and when we arrived we found out it was basically a private lesson for us. Juan was really friendly and patiently went all the basics with us over and over again. He was very patient and gave us feedback after every surf (or flop) and we each stood up on the board a handful of times. Thank you Selina surf club!

I would like a refund. There was no class. I showed up and the guy said they don’t work w you anymore.

Terrible
We stayed for a few days in Sta. Teresa and took several surf lessons with Selina, where a guy named Victor was our instructor. We had a terrible experience. Teaching: His teaching style can be described as "military". He didn't introduce himself and then pretty much yelled at us, when he didn't like what we did. I didn't really learn a technique (apart from the "chicken leg"), but we always went out to be big waves, where Victor pushed our boards, so we were able to surf the waves, although only with his support. Other: Victor didn't show any interest in us and didn't even know our names after a few days. He is openly homophobic about Nicaraguans and other mighrants in Costa Rica. He seemed still intoxicated (THC, alcohol) from the party the night before at several of the classes. He was also bragging about how many girls he had just hooked up with the last days. Sounds pretty much like college, but he must be in his upper 30ies / 40ies.
