Our day on the “Cook What you Catch” tour with Medz and Jeff was among the highlights of our trip to Belize. They were so kind, accommodating, fun, and wow do they know what they are doing. We fished, snorkeled, explored a couple of cayes, and ended with an incredible homemade lunch that was easily one of the best meals we had on our trip (and we had some really fantastic food). It was all amazing and frankly, the excellent company of Medz and Jeff were icing on the cake.

My family of four, including two older teenage daughters, had an amazing full day snorkeling tour with Medz and Jeffrey. We stopped at three snorkeling spots on the reef, which were all very active and vibrant. Jeffrey accompanied us in the water and pointed out marine life to us. We were able to see nurse sharks, breathtaking spotted eagle rays, barracuda, beautiful fish and coral. Then we stopped at Bread and Butter Caye for the absolute best and freshest lunch ever: snapper ceviche, grilled lobster and barracuda- all speared by Medz that afternoon. I truly wish I could have that for lunch every day! Medz and Jeffrey are friendly, knowledgeable and it’s obvious that they truly love what they do! I would absolutely recommend taking the snorkeling tour with this enthusiastic team.

We greatly enjoyed the knowledge about the Mayan culture that the guide could provide us. He was quite knowledgeable and was able to point out all the different structures and what their purpose was and why they had been built that specific way. We also enjoyed seeing some spider monkeys while looking at the ruins. The tubing was quite enjoyable with a separate but still knowledgeable tour guide occupying us.

First they set us up on catching some bait and let me operate the boat while they threw a cast net for some sardines. Then we got to go catch bigger bait with the sardines, caught some yellowtail and some crockers(used the croakers for bait). Then we went and caught some jack creval and a barracuda. We also snorkeled and I was able to get a lobster. They cooked us some great lunch with the barracuda, lobster, and the jack. They were great company as well and I would definitely recommend them👍

Shane was our knowledgeable driver with so many interesting stories of belize from the area to history to trees and animals .. got us to the ruin and our guide there was fantastic! Climbed to the top of El Castillo and learned about the mayan culture and saw Guatemala in the distance! And a surprise at the end! Spider monkeys!! Get to Know Belize Adventures are amazing people and make you feel like part of their family!

Victor was an amazing guide with knowledge of the jungle creatures from birds to jaguars to trees and insects! Got us to the waterfall and a little refreshing swim! A stop for mayan chocolate and delicious local lunch! Cant recommend Get to know Belize Adventures enough!

Amazing morning on the barrier reef ! Just the second time snorkeling and Jeffrey took the time allowing me to float and get comfortable on the shore of the south water caye so going out i felt so relaxed! Saw eagle rays and nurse shark and lots of fish and coral! It was a relaxing boat ride, always felt safe, and he knew all the fish and coral! Love Get to Know Belize Travel they treat you like you are part of their family!

We used Get to Know Belize for shuttle services and golf cart rental and can’t recommend them highly enough !! The first shuttle was from the Belize international airport to Hopkins and Shane picked us up right on time and gave us tons of information about Belize on the way to Hopkins was a great experience. We then used them for golf cart rental while in Hopkins and they were fantastic. Brought the golf cart to our hotel and came and picked it up when we were done the next day. We also booked a shuttle service from Hopkins to the Guatemala border and Dirk was our driver and he was absolutely amazing. All around this is a fantastic company I would highly recommend them for any tour and shuttle services you need while in Belize

I picked up a business card at a local coffee shop and I am so grateful I did. Amazing experience start to finish! We used the shuttle service to Belize City. Communication was stellar- friendly, professional, and prompt. Greg arrived early at our hotel in a new, large, air conditioned passenger van. He handed us each a bottle of water for the ride. During the ride, we had a truly pleasant and informative conversation. Greg is very knowledgeable. Our Airbnb was a little off the beaten path and he was very patient with the directions and even asked a neighbor if we were headed in the right direction. We loved Hopkins and plan to return. When we do, we look forward to enjoying some tours with Get to Know Belize. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We just returned from a weeks stay in Hopkins Bay. There were 11 of us, ages ranging from 8-80. We had 2 ocean front villas at Muy’Ono and it was wonderful. We snorkled, fished, river tubed, zip lined, cave tubed and did the ATV tour. All of it was great. I highly recommend Josie Saldana , gettoknowbelize.com. She arranged it all including pick up at dangria airport and had a golf cart rental waiting for us at the resort when we arrived. She was very reachable by email, text or phone. She did an awesome job for us! It is a family run business and I can’t say enough good things about them. You will find the nicest, kindest most humble people in Hopkins. — at Josie Saldana.

The Castillo family did a tour to Orange Walk, San Estevan, Chunox, Sarteneja and Corozal Town. Was a great trip, the tour van was clean, our driver's customer service was exemplary!

Getting to know Belize tours is friendly and has gear recommendations. Shane and Ernesto are very accommodating and worked well with our large group.

We did a full day island hopping tour and had an 11 out of 10 experience. We went to tobacco, south water and bread and butter cayes. Medz and Tyler were the absolute best. They led us through some snorkeling and touring some of the islands. They even caught some bonus fresh fish and we got to dine on an island. Can’t say enough great things!

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!!!! I am not a swimmer but somehow I swam like a mermaid while snorkeling and also believe I saw Dory in the water…kidding kidding…It was truly a beautiful and all around fun and beautiful experience that Theodore and Big Grouper helped us to have!! I felt safe enough to go into the water after they practice me with us and explained things. AMAZING!!!! And it didn’t even end there. We speared for our food, well they did and we had a picnic. Delicious!!!!

My wife and I took an ATV tour up the mountains and stopped to swim at a waterfall. It was unbelievably fun and breathtaking. Be prepared to get dirty but it is worth it. On top of the experience, the same company took us on a zip line tour 5 years ago in Hopkins. We had the same guide from then. Nice to know this company keeps it’s employees.
