In simple terms, Char Dham conveys the presence of four sacred abodes. But it has a got a great significance in Hindu religion. Char Dham originally used to refer to a pilgrimage circuit encompassing four holiest sites which were located at four directions of India - Badrinath, Puri, Rameshwaram and Dwarka. They were established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century AD. A relatively smaller circuit of Hindu pilgrimage is formed by the four hallowed places of Indian Himalayas, which are also known as Chota Char Dham. 'Chota' means small in Hindi. Alternately called Char Dham of Himalayas or Char Dham of Uttarakhand, the revered group possesses four sacred sites - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamnotri.

We never had any problem any where since trip advisor as well as the other members of the vaisnavi holidays were alert 24/7 . Even in case any small problems during the tour was immediately solved by the trip advisor or the other member. In one occasion, a hotel fellow was hesitating to provide breakfast little early as requested by me than when I talked to Mr dipak upadhyay, he personally dealt with that hotel, finally the hotel was forced provide me the breakfast as per my requirement. It may be a very small thing but that matters when u are on a trip outside your own area. This the way trip advisor had deslt. No doubt it is tough yatra but lot of uncertainty. Weather is completely unpredictable. It was private tour with 13 of us. Vaishnavi did all our hotel bookings and travel arrangements. That was good but for some issues with hotel owners.

We booked Chardham Yatra 2019 and requested for package along with car from Delhi. We used to interact with Poonam Upadyay until a day before the start of tour. When followed up for Driver and vehicle details, suddenly Deepak came into picture and we got the driver details at last minute. They always speak politely but never call on their own. We have to call them if we need our job done.
The hotels at Barkot is terrible (Amandeep). It is meant for dharamshala and group tour, not for decent people staying. It is very much sub-standard. Also the Kedar Palace hotel in Guptkashi was very poor. We never had any good food at any of the hotels booked by this agent.
Do not believe in them especially for kedarnath tour? They always say that "Tension math lo" but never did any arrangement. They did not even know that helicopter services were started. Once we reached Guptkashi and digged details on our own, we informed them of that heli services were already started. Until then they promised that they will book for us. Also they misguided us that Palki and horse rides are safe and good. It is terrible for people who do not have experience and also huge multi level queues are there. So do not depend on this travel agent since they misguide you until last minute.
Finally in Haridwar, the hotel booking was in a mess. When we reached hotel crystal Ganga, they told that already someone with our name has checked in. Even if there are 2 guests with same name, 2 rooms should have been booked but it was not done so. After so much of deliberation, Hotel guy gave another alternate accommodation and food.
Deepak or Poonam never calls you until they need payment. Afterwards we have to call them for anything. They never take care of our itinerary or follow up. Waste of money.
We could have booked hotels and car on our own.

We are really sorry to hear about your disappointment and deeply regretted for that and we sincere apologies for all the inconvenience you had to face during your tour.When you booked your tour that time we told you that driver details we will provide you one day before your journey start and we full fill our promises and give you the driver details on time.And another thing is regarding Helicopter tickets as we earlier told you that right now we are not promise you to provide you the tickets it completely depends on when the tender will be issue and when the tender is issued by Government .And we inform you that we are unable to provide you the tickets and we also inform you that you can book the tickets in government website so you can book from there . But you forcing us to please arrange the tickets. only because we are unable to arrange the tickets you are not satisfied with our services.So you tell us that what was our fault in that condition. Before reaching Guptkashi our Sales Manager Poonam Upadhyay ask you how was your tour is going on that time you said that everything is going well and you are also happy with our services.And regarding Amandeep and Guptkashi hotel you check all these hotel in our website and that time you are agree with our hotels.Yes we accept that only in Crystal Ganga hotel there was a misunderstanding in booking but you remember that on that time we arranged you booking in another Hotel which is much higher than Crystal ganga. Our objective is to ensure that our guests go back with happy memories and only then does it makes our efforts worthwhile.

Resently we had completed Do dham yatra in May 2019. It was owesome... I got good support from Ms. Aarti bhandari and Deepak sir. We made lot changes in iteneary provided by them in on going tour inspite of that they politely adjust with us. Accommodation is good as per situation. I m also thankful of Cab driver Mr. Vijay for comfortable journey. In short I appreciate management and their hospitality.. Thank u very much. I recomonded to others for memorable journey....

Recently I have visited chardham with my family in May-2019. It was an awesome experience for me and my family. We have received very good Support from Ms. Aarti Bhandari and Mr. Deepak Upadhyay for all the Journey we made. Food and Accommodation facility arranged by them in rush situation is appreciable. I am thankful to Mr. Deepak Upadhyay and his team for making our journey memorable. I would recommend Chardham Shastri tours to my friends and family who will visit chardham in future.
