Loved our tour with Wānaka wines. The locations and wine were terrific however, the stand out was out tour guide John!! Amazing knowledge, stories and atmosphere he created. Plus a 11/10 photographer, ask him about his panoramas :). He went above and beyond, dropping us into town via our accommodation to drop off our purchases. Hope he is pleased to know we stayed in touch with our tour friends.

John was an amazing guide through 4 wineries. Scott took care of all our diverse food restrictions from a vegetarian to a non-fish eater and nothing was a problem. They pick you up at your hotel and choose 4 different types of wineries to visit. The lunch in the middle of the trip was delicious in Cromwell and it was a great little group of people on our tour. Perfect length of time and no pressure to buy at any of the wineries.

it was relly best wine tour. The Rippon vineyard is exelant. Our guiade was perfect. But we saw 4 vineyards, and all of of them was nice. Wine we testing - specialy Pionot Noir everyone has to try..

Heidi our tour guide was wonderful! She taught us so much about the local area and introduced us to some lovely wine makers. Would highly recommend this company to do a wine tour with from Wanaka. The wines were amazing.

We had a great time on the wine tour. We found Wanaka Wine Tours very accommodating and friendly. The wineries were all different and interesting. The wine and food was very good.

A comprehensive and exciting choice of wineries. Large and small. A courteous and charming guide. Interested and friendly group. Beautiful day , with huge range of wines and memorable food.

My wife and I enjoyed this small group wine tour with Heidi February 23, 2023. We experienced multiple tastings including Nanny Goat, Quartz Reef, River Rock and Domaine Road and a very good lunch at The Stoaker Room in Cromwell. The vehicle was comfortable and Heidi shared stories and great detail about the area.

John was a fantastic host for the day and the vineyards were great! John’s stories were super entertaining and he made everyone feel included in the experience. Highly recommend!

A great mix of wineries around Wanaka & surrounds. Heidi had great local knowledge. Aitken’s Folly, The Wooing Tree (+snacks), Terra Sancta & Domain Road. Domain Road’s lady was particularly interesting in front of the best views.

Well organised, and enjoyed the commentary from the driver. Only suggestion would be to organise the use of transport depending on the guests you have. For example, if you are driving multiple couples (on their holiday/honeymoon), they do wish to sit together and spend the quality time together especially because the driving time took up a large proportion of the tour. My partner and I were last to be picked up (out of our control) and therefore one of us had to sit in the front seat, and the other in the back beside another couple. This was slightly disappointing as we spent a large amount on this lovely trip, and wished to enjoy and experience it together, fully. So, possibly alternating the use of van depending on whether you have a big group or multiple couples would be a useful thing to consider!

The wine was great. But the the tour guide Toni made the driving between just as fun. She knows a lot of cool things about the area and was a fantastic conversationalist.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 day our guide went out of her way to tell us of all the nz culture and history of the wines and area on the way even stopping to let us get ice creams on the way home

My fiancé and I went on the Boutique Wine Tour during our stay in Wanaka. All of the wineries we visited were fantastic, wine and food delicious and Wayne (our guide) made the experience even better. He did personal introductions at every winery and was full of interesting and fun facts that made the drive between go nice and quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would highly recommend this tour and Wayne to anyone visiting Wanaka! Thanks again Wayne for a fantastic day!

Myself and my husband went on the half day tour where we visited 4 vineyards. The wine was delicious with a description of each, the settings of the vineyards were gorgeous, perfect for those pictures!! And the tour guide was great! Cracked lots of jokes and was very knowledgeable about the area and the vineyards! The grazing board was also delish! A lovely day all in all!
