My husband and I took this tour on the first day of our honeymoon in Fiji and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to learn more about the area and the culture! Rakesh was a fantastic tour guide. He was super knowledgeable and fun to be around, and his brand new van was pristine and comfortable. We were joined by 3 other guests and felt that our group size was perfect. Everyone was super friendly with a great attitude and we enjoyed spending the day with them. We loved seeing the beautiful Hindu temple, walking around the garden of the sleeping giant, shopping for souvenirs to bring home to our friends and family, drinking a fresh coconut at the produce market, and slathering ourselves with mud at the Sabeto pools. We didn’t have time to visit the village, but the tour still felt complete. Thank you Rakesh for a truly wonderful day!

We were absolutely delighted with the tour. The Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple is a sight to see, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant is very pretty (and the cats are friendly!), and the Sabeto Hot Springs and Mud Pool were a massive highlight. Rakesh is a friendly and engaging host, I absolutely recommend this tour.

I spent 1/2 day touring Nadi with Fiji Golf Tours. The group was kept small and personable and they took us to a local village, the Nadi Temple, a stop for shopping for souvenirs and a local farmers market, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, and to the mud pools. They went above and beyond in terms of friendliness and hospitality. They were early for pickup and in regular communication with me about stops, and timing of places. If you only have a short time and want to explore Nadi in the most comfortable and efficient way possible, I would highly recommend this tour company.

We booked a return airport transfer through the Marriott. They picked us up from the airport no problem, but despite emails, confirming pick up time to return us to the airport at the end of the holiday, they left us stranded and didn’t arrive. This led to an extremely stressful drive to the airport with a hastily arranged alternative. We only managed to make the flight because the alternative transport company drove incredibly fast.

Fantastic guide who showed us some great places in Fiji. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing day out seeing so much of Fiji in 4 hours

When you see the name Fiji Golf and Transfer, you might think Rakesh is only about gold and you might not be interested in that, but he also offers a superb day tour whether you’re in on a cruise ship or staying on the island. Rakesh used to caddy for Vijay Singh, and is very plugged into the local golf scene, so if that’s what you want, he’s your man, but he does so much more. We booked his Discover Nadi tour, and he picked us up early at our cruise port in a comfortable air conditioned sedan, though he also has a large van for groups. We stopped first at a local village where he introduced us to a woman who walked us through and told us about her life in the village. He then he took us to the beautiful Hindu temple, downtown to the craft market, and on to a really good lunch at the beach. He managed to do this by slipping in and out of all the places just before the bus tours pulled up. We finished off with a stop at a local fruit and flower market. As we were driving, he gave us a great history of the islands and their people, and was just wonderful company.

A great tour to experience a range of sights and activities around Nadi. It gave us a sense of the place, its people and culture, supported by the wonderful stories and copious information shared by our tour guide, Avi.

Because of the chaotic weather during the week, it turned out I was the only one booked for the afternoon tour. Rather than cancel, instead I ended up having a private tour with the owner of the company, Rakesh. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we avoided the crowds, met some genuine locals and had the best door-to-door experience of exploring Nadi. Highly recommended!

Rakesh goes beyond what is expected. From the start his knowledge and communication is exceptional to/from the airport. Soon as you arrive/turn up, you are great with your name on a placard. From there you’re treats as part of a family. We were in a tricky situation with inclement conditions that had settled in over the week. With parts of Nadi under water. On our return we were worried but Rakesh and son were able to transfer us to the airport by other means and if it was not for this we were going to be caught for our return trip home.
