Overview
Sail aboard a tall ship to Tivua Island on this 5.5-hour boat excursion from Denarau. Upon arrival, eat a provided lunch and then spend the afternoon participating in water and beach activities (included) on the secluded tropical island. Sail back to Denarau with entertainment and an open bar. Hotel pickup and drop-off included.
What to Expect
Be ready for pickup at your Coral Coast or Denarau accommodations, where you will be met by land transport and taken to Port Denarau in time for your 12:30pm cruise departure. Board a tall ship and set sail for Tivua, a secluded Fijian island in the Mamanuca Island chain. Made up of 500 acres (202 hectares) of coral garden, ringed by white sand beaches, this island is almost untouched and is home to people who still follow the traditional Fijian way of life.

Step ashore, where you will be greeted by a traditional kava ceremony, then choose to relax on the beach or go snorkeling using the provided equipment. Sign up for an additional dive (at own expense) to the wreck of the MV Raiyawa (available for experienced divers only). Take a glass-bottom boat tour, paddle a cone through the shallows, or just explore on your own.

Throughout the day, you will be provided a barbecue lunch morning and afternoon tea, in addition to unlimited open alcoholic bar and nonalcoholic drinks. Enjoy entertainment and drinks on the sail back to Port Denarau, returning after 5.5 hours.

Your tour ends with drop-off back at your hotel in Coral Coast or Denarau.

Great Excursion but dead reef

We took this trip off our cruise ship. The beautiful two mast schooner was tied up adjacent to our ship so the transfer to the schooner was quick and easy. There were about 60 guests and at least 15 staff so a great ratio. And...More

Much too short

The destination is perfect - just due to the very long travel to the island and back it is just too short. I made the mistake to accept the offer of a wreck scuba dive and so I had no time at all on the...More

I went on this cruise with my wife and son (age 4) and we had a fantastic day. We were staying in the coral coast so it was 1 hour drive then 1 hour boat ride but worth it. The crew on the boat were...More
