Private Day Trip to Sigiriya, cave and National park Safari Tour. It was very interesting with a good tour provider. But, it's exhausting as it takes more than 14 hours if you would have at all, so I canceled some stops and visits to keep it to 12 hours.  National park Safari tour was wasting of time looking desperately for elephants by riding safari car, it is much better to go to a special elephants park anywhere else in Srilanka and find a lot of elephants. While Sigiriya ancient rock fortress tour was beautiful but if you do not have good fitness or you have disability it would be so difficult to climb the rock's mountain. National park Safari costs around 100$. the cave costs 7$. Sigiriya rock costs 35$. so the total trip costs around 272$.

We had a wonderful experience using JK Travels to book a customized driver and tours itinerary while we were in Sri Lanka for five days. Janaka was very responsive and helpful from the the first email exchange and ensured our expectations were met. Our driver and guide was Shanesh. He was very flexible to our needs and kept us well informed along the way. Specifically, we had seen a lot of elephants during one of our other tours. On the day we were supposed to go to the elephant nature park, he offered us an alternative to visit a village since we had seen plenty of elephants already. The alternative turned out to be one of our favorite tours during our stay. The tours included Sigirya, Dambulla, Yala Safari, Galle Fort, and others. I would definitely book with JK tours, again. On a side note: I encourage everyone to read what is provided as part of your package and what is not. We had made ourselves familiar and had no issues. However, I had noticed a review that had missed this important information that the tours typically include driver, guide, water, and specific other items when noted. They do not always include entry fees. If you are unsure, just ensure you get everything clearly noted when you are booking your tour. Janaka did this very well and itemized everything for me.

Sigiriya is breathtaking and we are very happy that we travelled all the way from Colombo to see this wonderful fortress. Simply loved the elephant safari. It was pouring but that didnt dampen our spirits with the desire to see the elephants in their natural habitat. We spotted quite a few elephants despite the rain. Overall a wonderful day made complete by JK Travels by providing us with a comfortable car and a very knowledgeable and a kind driver.

We started our trip from Colombo. Our car was very clean and comfortable. We customised our trip, so our first stop was at the Kosgoda turtle hatchery. The ticket price is LKR2000 per person and LKR5000 if you want to release a little hatchling in the water. The visit was insightful and we learned so much about the turtles. The other highlight of the day was the boat ride on the Madhu river. We spotted plenty of monitor lizards, monkeys and birds. We enjoyed the lunch, which was arranged on an island on the river. From there we went further south to Galle fort. Overall a very comfortable and an enjoyable day.

Amazing tour from colombo, we were able to see giant elephants and tea planation. we enjoyed the tour with our guide shanesh, and this was his 2nd trip with us. we were lucky to visit temple of tooth buddha, Thanks JK travels arranging such a lovely tour for us.

This was one of our plans to visit Polonnaruwa. It was amazing, The great architecture and structures. The tour itself well planned and as described. sigiriya climbing was a bit hard but we really enjoyed it. shanesh took us everywhere we need to go and he is very professional and safe driver. Highly recommend.

Our tour was amazing -- our guide Asanka was quite accommodating and gave us a few extra "tours" of a herbal medicinal school and the vegetable market (largest in the country). We enjoyed the elephant safari, and the Dambulla cave tour. Due to our detours we arrived at Sigiriya late, and it was very crowded for sundown. We recommend going to Sigirya early for sunrise (like 5am) and avoid most of the crowds that way. We enjoyed our day tour though, and as said Askanka was very helpful and made our experience memorable.

This was our first tour in Sri Lanka and its truly amazing. we had a great time and enjoyed the tour. The best part of this tour was safari and Sigiriya climbing. The best tour had in stilanka.Really amzibg tour sigiriya rock is so amzing. The ancient ruins in polonnaruwa and cave painting reflects their culture and history. Really loved to have this opportunity. Highly recommended.

Great experience with JK travels, we were picked at 8.30 am as our safari started at 1.00 pm. Its an amazibg tour we saw many wild animals there.our driver shanesh is very professional.averall great experience from colombo.

This was a great tour. Here some details. Our tour started at 7:30 we arrived at the entrance about 12:30. And our safari lasted till 17:30. We returned to Colombo at about 21:30. The cost of entrance was 23k rupees for 2 visitors (me and my wife) and additional cost for the car with driver of 19k. (It is better to have a cash as I when I wanted to pay by card I was told that terminal is not working) We saw a lot of animals and birds deers, elephants, crocodiles, lizards. And 1 leopard. Yes you need to keep in mind that these guys a very sneaky and sensitive to loud sounds so it is very difficult to spot them. So in my opinion it was the great tour in a very beautiful place. Additional thanks to our guide who taken us from the Mount Lavinia and was with us all the time.

The Madu river trip was just amazing, it starts with beautiful ride thru mangroves into an along side villa where we had authentic lankan breakfast…. Then thru the silence of the wild along with white lining of clouds n raindrops spattered… we moved to a cinnamon hut where experienced the process of removing it from bark of plant.. The last but not the least an exciting fish treatment of our feet’s by removing dead skin from the outer layer … what a feeling can’t be expressed in words… Overall excellent….!!!!
