From the planning stage Chaminda was incredibly informative and responsive, helping us to refine our itinerary and book activities such as the very popular train ride to Ella. Our driver, Dinesh, met us at the airport and was with us for the whole 20 days. We covered a very large distance travelling all around Sri Lanka, and the van was spacious and modern and Dinesh was fantastic. He accommodated our last minute changes and was able to provide very useful tips on activities and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble and he was great at negotiating the sometimes tricky roads (especially in the hilly areas of Kandy and Ella). He even took us on a hike up to a hidden gem of a waterfall, which was one of our most memorable experiences. I cannot recommend Chaminda and Dinesh enough and will definitely be in touch when we return to Sri Lanka, hopefully next year.

I visted Sri Lanka - Kandy and Colombo for four days and I had an awesome time. Asanka, our friendly tour guide, met us bright and early at the airport and proceeded to show us the sights from the airport to Kandy. He was extremely knowledgeable about the various sights, and made an effort to point out and explain everything - whether it was on the road passing the rice plantations, to the tea plantations, etc. He drove us safely to all the requested sights, and that was no easy feat, as traffic was rather hectic. We did whatever was on our tour itinerary and my only regret was that I only stayed 4 days and not longer as there is so much more to see and take in. I will definitely visit again and personally request Asanka as our guide. I can strongly recommend Sri Lanka Chamo Tours to anyone who seeks the best travel experience in Sri Lanka.

Our friends recommended Sri Lanka Chamo Tours to us. They had a great vacation 6 years ago. We got Asanka the same driver as them. So he was like an old friend to us. Chamo Tours organised all my excursions in Sri Lanka. Yala National Park, the turtle hatchery plus surfing in Weligama and trekking in the Sinharaja rainforest. They are so well organised, accommodate last minute changes with ease and really look after you.

Our car hire, a hybrid was comfortable for our 6 day customized tour! We are repeat customers so requested the same legendary driver, Dashara, whom we met 6 years previously. Seeing him greet us at the airport was like meeting up with an old friend. It was so lovely to be guided through to Dambulla at the most beautiful eco resort "Kandalama", to comfortably settle in and then begin our busy itinerary which more than met our expectations. Our highlights, were the village tour, and learning traditional cooking lessons ! We cannot make enough dahl and roti on our return from our trip! The joyous people we met during the Adams Peak climb, an absolute necessity, as was driving though the beautiful Green Hills in the tea plantation country, visiting the museum which explains the newly developed hydro electric dams which power all of Sri Lanka. Every experience where we met locals and learned their trades from brick making to tea making, was memorable! Sri Lanka has so much to offer! Asa was a brilliant driver, especially in some of the heavy traffic in Kandy/Colombo and the winding roads near Ella. He also provided some good local knowledge and made suggestions to our itinerary (we were 4 mates travelling for 10 days around SE Sri Lanka). He also helped with some translations on occasion which made things run very smoothly.

We organised our driving tour through Chamo Tours. Our driver Ayesh promised to be with us from airport to airport and he was. The restaurants, sightseeing, roadside stops, tickets and all he organised was just great. Nothing was too much bother. He was very patient while we wrestled with the local lingo and practiced with him. Ayesh knew so many people from restaurant staff to safari guides to parking attendants to chefs which gave us many unique experiences. He made it a fun, stress free and an interesting trip.

Myself, my husband and our two friends headed over for our Sri Lankan experience. At the airport we were warmly welcomed by our driver...Ayesh. I am in love with Sri Lanka since 2014 my first trip. This island has endless of wonderful moments and things to do and Chamo Tours are just amazingly repeat a fine and wonderful experience with my family this time. Our driver "Aysh" was so grateful to the extend that he hosted us in his own house and to introduce us to his lovely family and serve us delicious Sri Lankan sweets. We had an opportunity to travel to srilanka this eid and it has definitely been an unforgettable journey. The package was excellent and we could cover many places with very minimal cost. Hotels definitely were worth mentioning as they all had amazing service and located at places where we could see natures beauty in its full sense.. In May 2016 we travelled to Sri Lanka and I booked Chamo tours to be our guidance. We enjoyed all the trip and the most wonderful amazing thing that we really appreicate Chamo is to give us a great driver who was indeed knoweldgable and responsibale and taking every step to make sure we love the trip and enjoy it to the max.

Our trip was fully organised by Chamo Tours, Chaminda has selected us the perfect tour operator to drive our bus. He was very informative, become one of the family during trip, ever so helpful and accommodating which certainly made the trip much more joyful & memorable. Chaminda organised our accommodation for sightseeing at Segari Rock, safari at Yali, Tricomalee, tea plantation Nuwara Eliya, elephant safari in which we had an elephant ride. Also visited sea turtle hatchery, Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Project. Galle Fort was also on on visit plan. All the accommodation was clean and hostesses were very accommodating, if we needed anything or forgot something our driver was there to assist. Also to translate for us if we didn't understand. The most memorable accommodation was near the tea plantations, the rooms were high in the mountains and in the morning the mist had rolled in & such a beautiful sight to wake in the morning. I can't recall the name but I am sure that Chaminda will know the spot. Chaminda has in depth knowledge of his country and is well established in the industry. He will defiantly find you the best price for your needs, if he doesn't know something then he will make his mission to find out. Things in Sri Lanka are very different to Australia, in Sri Lanka they talk to their neighbours, they KNOW their neighbours, then their neighbour neighbours and so on. So if Chaminda doesn't know something he has the knowledge and the contacts to assist your needs. People are very friendly in Sri Lanka, they understand that tourism is good for their country and their economy, they want you to be there. I felt very safe, not threatened at all and very welcomed to be there. We are now planning our next trip and have already asked Chaminda to plan our memorable holiday. Without a doubt Chamo Tours is very professional and will give you a carefree, thoroughly enjoyable holiday :)

We are from H. k ,stayed at Sri Lanka for 17days. The entire arrangements by Chamo were wonderful. Adam's Peak, Horton plains ,temples, beaches.... every places are unique and attractive.
