      Awesome eBike adventure
Jay was an awesome tour guide who was super informative and very flexible with the itinerary, which allowed us to see a geyser eruption that we wouldn’t have seen if we had stuck to our schedule. The pace was perfect and we had a spectacular day in the park.

      Great Biking Experience
We rented bikes from Big Sky and had a fantastic experience. The bikes were great and the route/attractions they recommended were even better. Very friendly folks. They even gave us a recommendation for viewing bears that evening (not part of the bike rental).

      Amazing day
We had a great day tour with Jay. He is super knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to see things we would not have been able to see any other way and the equipment was top notch. We did the ebike and Yellowstone Hot Springs soak. While the ebikes make this 20 mile ride accessible to a wide range of fitness and ability levels it still felt like an active day.

Great day exploring on a bike!
I rented an ebike from Big Sky and had a fabulous time. First time on an ebike but it was super easy - went into Yellowstone using the Old Gardiner road and saw lots of antelope, elk, then got to Mammoth. The ride was awesome with the extra help up the mountain. Came back into town and went on the single track out of Old Yellowstone Trail - nice ride along the river. Wonderful day, unique views, and don't have to be in a motor vehicle!!! Jay the owner was super nice and very helpful - would do this again and would love to do a tour if we had an extra day.

Rented an E bike to ride the roads in Yellowstone before they opened the roads to cars.
Excellent ride! E bike was well equipped, Jay was very knowledgeable and able to tell me what I needed to bring with me. My bike fit me well, had a lock, and an extra battery. The power was great, didn't have any issues getting up the 3000+ feet of climb between Gardiner and Norris Geyser Basin. I did need the second battery to get back, but had plenty of juice to spare. Jay even ordered excellent weather for the trip. I'd highly recommend renting from Big Sky E bike Tour and Rentals. My only caution is to watch the weather--it can get cold, windy, and snowy. It was comforting to know that if I didn't return, they would come out to look for me.

As many people know, the community in and around Yellowstone National Park has suffered from physical and economic damage due to the rains and subsequent floods.

With that in mind, we were unsure of booking a tour but reaching out to Jay at Big Sky e-bike tours was well worth the inquiry.

Jay said the community is in need of our economic support and to please come on down from Bozeman to Gardiner and take a spin on their Bike and Soak tour.

It was our first time on ebikes and we loved the way you could choose how easily or hard you wanted to pedal…making the tour as easy or difficult as we wanted to make it. (It wasn’t difficult).

Jay had us wearing ear prices so we could hear the commentary on the history and natural surroundings. This was a wonderful feature as it can be difficult to hear a lead speak when you are the last biker.

We saw prong horn antelope, eagles, ospreys, a lone mountain goat, elk and some domestic Bison.

A nice lunch sitting by a small lake was a time to learn more of the area and then a short ride to a local hot springs was just the right way to end our 5+ hour trip. And it never felt long at all.

The hot spring’s had several choices of warm, hot and a cold plunge with a added feature of a stone walking path on warm water to massage weary feet.

We would definitely do this again and please support the community as they need our economic support.

Big Sky E Bikes provided our family with an unforgettable adventure through Yellowstone, and our guide Jay was exceptional. His deep knowledge of the area's history, geysers, and wildlife added immense value to our trip. Jay's expertise made the natural wonders come alive, and his passion for the region was infectious. Riding through the park on e-bikes was both exhilarating and educational, thanks to Jay's engaging storytelling and insightful commentary. We highly recommend Big Sky E Bikes and Jay for anyone looking to explore Yellowstone in a unique and enriching way.

We really enjoyed the ebike tour of the geysers with Jay of Big Sky. Our group was two couples. One couple never ebiked prior, and Jay was attentive on initial orientation and gave direction on navigating the terrain throughout the ride. He kept us entertained with stories about Yellowstone. Enjoyed hearing about the science behind the geysers. Recommend ebiking to see the Yellowstone geysers from Old Faithful, up to the Grand Prismatic Spring, it made it easier to see all. Lunch was provided. Ate it while sitting, overlooking a river, with a pair of sandhill cranes and a small herd of bison on the other side. Gotta love Yellowstone!

Jay with Big Sky E Bike Tours knocked it out of the park! He had EVERYTHING dialed for an outstanding "Ride & Soak" tour in Yellowstone. He spent a lot of time explaining the options and details at the time of the online booking. He provided excellent RAD ebikes that were comfortable and handled all the terrain. He was willing to modify the route where possible to accommodate all riders if needed. Tour was scenic, fun, and most of all, VERY informative - Jay had engaging stories and local knowledge that we would not have known about otherwise. And the "soak" part of the tour (at Yellowstone Hot Springs) was very refreshing after our mountain bike ride. Oh, and the lunch he provided was very tasty. Don't hesitate to book one of Jay's ebike tours (book on his website) - we saw so much more than just on foot or in a car. It was the best part of our trip to Yellowstone!

We rented two E-bikes from Jay and rode round trip from Gardiner to Mammoth. It was a blast! Jay told us exactly how to get there (super easy), throughly explained the E-bike operation and made sure our helmets fit properly. He even attached a side bag and lent us small soft cooler to hold our picnic lunch! Nice touch.

The ride to Mammoth was pretty straightforward. We followed the Old Gardiner Road right into Mammoth. We rode past a few lovely spots to stop and take pictures. Great views of the valley below. Once we arrived we rode around a bit (saw an Elk chilling out in front of the post office!) and easily found a nice shady spot for our picnic lunch.

I HIGHLY recommend Jay and his fabulous E-bike company. A+. Our only regret was that we didn’t have time to take one of the private tours Jay offers. But next time we will! Great day. Fabulous ride. Worth EVERY penny.

Yellowstone by bike is a great way to see the park. It is even better when you have an e-bike assist to the top of Swan Lake Flats. The one-man show company is terrific. Our party of four rented e-bikes for the day in April when the roads were closed for cars but open for bikes. We left at noon and returned at 6 pm happy, hungry, and ready to go again. The CEO and bike wrangler friendly, well organized and able to answer all of our questions in an open, engaged and respectful way. We have been in the Park many times but this was one of the most enjoyable ways to do it. In times when the Park is fully open to cars, if you don't like riding along side cars, RVs and bison, take the guided tour so you can start from inside the Park.

We spent two days with Jay and they were fabulous. We did the Geyser Basin tour and the Ride and Soak. On the Geyser Basin tour, we were able to go to an area that is closed to cars so we were the only ones on this road. We ate lunch next to a beautiful volcanic-like geyser and saw very cool thermal pools. Jay is a wealth of knowledge about the area and presents the information in an engaging manner. You will wear a headset on the ride and he talks during (almost) the entire ride! We also did the Bike and Soak. The scenery was beautiful and the soak at the end was delightful.

Amazing bike tour of Yellowstone geysers and hot springs with Jay! Our family of 5 found the E-Bikes easy to learn to use, a blast to ride, and the best way we could have moved from one sight to the next. Jay was full of knowledge about all of our stops, and I bet there were a few stories he told us that no one else could have. Suzanne was very accommodating with packed lunches, including one of us with a food allergy. I would highly recommend this tour and would definitely sign up for another when we come back to Yellowstone.

Jay readily answered any questions or concerns quickly. Original meet time was 8 am, which would have been difficult from the west entrance 1 and 1/2 hours away.
Due to the crowds Jay had us meet at 10 am which worked out well.
Perfect weather, bikes were sturdy and stable. Jay had plenty of stories and information about the park, the environmental changes and animals.
This was for me the best part of our 4 national park visits this June. You get to see parts of the park only accessible to hikers or horses. Highly recommend Jay and his company for couples or families with kids.
